The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Zevaney Kingsley felt as if she had been slapped in the face, biting her lip and her gaze flickering uncertainly: ”Mr. Lordon, what do you mean by this?”

Khendy Lordon was too lazy to go in circles with her, speaking indifferently: ”Zevaney Kingsley, outsiders boast that you are a once-in-a-century genius. But here with me... you’re unqualified.”

Zevaney Kingsley’s face instantly turned pale.

”I’ve already spoken to your Clan Chief about this, and he has implicitly agreed.” Khendy Lordon coldly said, ”So I advise you to put away your little schemes and stop making a fool of yourself here.”

”If you don’t come to me, you can continue to flaunt your so-called once-in-a-century genius reputation among the outsiders. But if you continue to seek me out, I don’t mind making your reputation in Inderia fall into disgrace.”

Zevaney Kingsley firmly gripped her phone, her fingers so tight they turned white at the joints: ”I have never claimed to be a once-in-a-century genius.”

Khendy Lordon didn’t listen to her refutation, casually asking her, ”Have you ever seen a genius?”

”...” Zevaney Kingsley said nothing.

Khendy Lordon laughed: ”I have.”

He had seen geniuses; Zevaney Kingsley truly doesn’t deserve the term.

”Considering Marco Lordon’s face, I’ll let you off this time.” Khendy Lordon seemed too uninterested to continue speaking with her, his tone cold as he said, ”Remember clearly, don’t bother me again!

Zevaney Kingsley heard the busy tone from the phone as Khendy Lordon didn’t even give her a chance to explain, having already hung up.

Her snow-white face suddenly flushed red, seemingly humiliated to the extreme, with the driver watching in trembling fear, Zevaney Kingsley suddenly raised her hand and threw the phone onto the ground outside the car window.

With a ’bang’ sound, the phone shattered into pieces.

”M-Miss.” The driver was so scared that he trembled, stumbling out of the car to pick it up.

Zevaney Kingsley fiercely commanded him: ”Don’t pick it up!”

The driver didn’t dare move at all.

Zevaney Kingsley’s pale face was flushed with blood due to the excessive humiliation, and even after trying to calm down for three minutes, she was unable to achieve calm.

It wasn’t until Willy Kingsley came out of the hotel and walked to the car side, catching sight of the Kingsleys Family driver standing helplessly outside amidst the scattered phone pieces.

He paused for a moment, first asking the driver, ”What happened?”

The driver shook his head blankly, sneaking a glance at Zevaney Kingsley inside the car, but not daring to speak too freely, he silently lowered his head to stare at his shoe tips.

As Willy Kingsley saw that he seemed unaware, he walked to the front of the car window, raising his hand to tap the car window, asking the person inside the car, ”Why did you smash the phone?”

Zevaney Kingsley closed her eyes and opened them again, squeezing the palm of her hand, trying hard to regulate her breathing, opting for an uninterested brush off: ”It’s nothing, I slipped.”

Willy Kingsley turned to look at the phone fragments on the ground, Zevaney’s phone was smashed so badly that even the screen was shattered, clearly not a slip-and-fall level of damage.

But he wisely didn’t pursue the matter, instead furrowing his brows and bringing up seeing Khendy Lordon: ”By the way, I told you. Khendy Lordon guessed it was you who gathered those people to find him behind the scenes, and just now he revealed it in front of those people. He seems to have been angered by you, really angry this time, and those people, knowing they were used by us, are furious too, threatening us to watch out.”

Zevaney Kingsley had already foreseen this outcome the moment she received Khendy Lordon’s call, but she hadn’t expected Khendy Lordon to take it so extremely: ”You mean Khendy Lordon publicly told them that I was using them as guns behind the scenes?”
