The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1174: Chapter 1174: Amadeus: What, only you are allowed to call the police?

Raymond Wilmar is from the same generation as Candice Yancey and her peers.

There are at least two generations between Nathalie Quinlan and Raymond Wilmar, and Amadeus Yancey asking Raymond Wilmar to apologize to Nathalie Quinlan in public is undoubtedly a way of stomping on Raymond Wilmar’s face.

Raymond Wilmar’s face changed instantly, as if he had suffered a great humiliation!

However, Amadeus Yancey didn’t look at her, maintaining his usual calm demeanor, his tone filled with threat: ”Mrs. Wilmar, apologizing shouldn’t be difficult for you, right?”

Raymond Wilmar clenched the palm of her hand, not uttering a word.

Myles Sullivan stepped forward with a rapidly twitching brow to mediate the situation: ”Mr. Yancey, we were in the wrong for suspecting Nathalie without evidence. I apologize to Nathalie on behalf of my mother...”

He hadn’t even finished speaking.

Amadeus Yancey clearly wasn’t buying it.

”When did Director Myles change his last name to Wilmar?”

Alfred Garland, who had been standing outside with Mr. Zachmann and a few others, heard the man’s hoarse and casual tone mocking Myles Sullivan, causing Sullivan’s face to turn dark, couldn’t help it, and burst into laughter.

Amadeus is such a dog!

This remark!

Whether he laughed or not was fine.

But when he did, the expressions on many of the Wilmar family relatives’ faces looked odd, and the way they looked at Myles Sullivan almost made him falter.

Myles Sullivan’s hands, hanging at his sides, clenched into fists then relaxed, relaxed then clenched again, his forehead darkening, veins bulging uncomfortably in his temples.

Yet, he didn’t dare to actually rip his face with this Mr. Yancey in front of him.

”Mr. Yancey, it’s better to be forgiving!” His voice deepened: ”After all, my mother is Nathalie’s elder, two generations apart. There are so many people here, forcing my mother to apologize to Nathalie would be detrimental to Nathalie’s fortune and longevity.”

If he hadn’t said this, Amadeus Yancey might not have insisted on Raymond Wilmar admitting fault today, but Myles Sullivan, in his hubris, brought Nathalie into it, stepping right into a minefield.

Amadeus Yancey didn’t bother with useless words, concisely turned his head, and asked the girl: ”Can a copy of that surveillance be made?”

Nathalie Quinlan raised an eyebrow, her dark eyes pure: ”Yes.”

It was just as brief.

Amadeus Yancey looked at her vibrant lip color, alluringly obedient, feeling a bit better, lazily saying: ”Why not make a copy, since I’m free today, I can send it to the city bureau.”

At this, both Raymond Wilmar and Adelle Wafford’s expressions changed drastically.

Myles Sullivan also looked up, looking at him in shock, frowning, afraid that Nathalie Quinlan would really copy the surveillance video and send it to the police, hurriedly stopping: ”Mr. Yancey, this is the Wilmar family’s affair, there’s no need to escalate it to the police station’s level!”

Everyone in this circle is cunning, they handle even their own family’s affairs cautiously, let alone interfere in others’ business.

But this person is Amadeus Yancey!

Amadeus in Beijing is notorious for being temperamental, doing things entirely based on his likes.

No one knows if he’s just casually saying it or if he’s serious!

If he’s serious and gives the surveillance video to the police, then the matter becomes complicated, no longer a Wilmar family affair.

No prominent family in Beijing wants to make such a matter public, it’s too shameful, too damaging to the family’s image.

This is especially true for top-tier families like the Watmars.

No one can afford such a disgrace!

”Didn’t you just threaten my girlfriend that if she didn’t apologize you would call the police and get them involved?” Amadeus Yancey said with a smile in his eyes, but his gaze was extremely cold, rather arrogant: ”Why, you can call the police, but we can’t?”
