The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1164: Chapter 1164: The Old Man Can Finally Rest

The once spirited eyes dimmed, shook his head, without any intention of blaming Nathalie Quinlan, his voice was not loud, somewhat dejected: ”You don’t need to apologize to me, I know he can’t last for two more years.”

”That old man has a stubborn temper, won’t listen to advice, we’ve told him to take a good rest, but he never listens, even when sick he can’t let go of his work, busy till midnight to sleep. Because of this, despite taking your medicine, his condition keeps getting worse day by day.”

Lowie Wilmar chuckled, trying hard to relax, but his smile was inappropriate: ”He’s of age, if it weren’t for you, we might not even have gotten to see him one last time.”

In the innermost circle of people, Raymond Wilmar’s voice was the loudest, continuously calling Mr. Wilmar’s name, desperately trying to wake him up.

Nathalie Quinlan said nothing, lifted her gaze to glance at him: ”Everyone will have this day, we will too.”

”I know.”

Lowie Wilmar put his hands in his pockets, watching Raymond’s crying fit, only felt it laughable, sarcastically said: ”My grandfather devoted his whole life to the country, even when sick he wouldn’t rest, now at least he can finally rest.”

But Raymond’s prediction fell through.

This time the old man left suddenly, leaving nothing arranged for the aftermath, the Wilmar family will definitely be a mess by then.

Lowie Wilmar took a deep breath.

Just about to speak, he heard Raymond’s tearful voice from inside: ”Dad!”

His shoulder trembled, couldn’t utter a single word.

Though he tried to control his emotions, Nathalie Quinlan still saw the corner of his eye turn crimson for an instant.

Her mood was extremely terrible.

Before Mr. Wilmar left, he gave her a small notebook she glanced at, with a series of names written inside, like Wang Dagen, Zhang Guofu... these names were clearly old comrades.

Behind these names were handwritten monthly transfer figures and bank account numbers and addresses.

Every character was written neatly and upright.

It’s clear the person who wrote this list was very serious when recording it.

Combining with what Lowie said, how could Nathalie Quinlan not understand what this list Mr. Wilmar wanted her to give to Yonathan Wilmar meant.

This was a list of Mr. Wilmar’s comrades.

Mr. Wilmar passed away suddenly.

Raymond and Yonathan Wilmar along with the Wilmar family saw Mr. Wilmar the last time.

But Mr. Wilmar basically didn’t leave any words, then suddenly passed away.

The arrangements for Mr. Wilmar’s aftermath must be handled immediately.

Yonathan Wilmar suppressed emotions, made quite a few phone calls.

Raymond initially was still crying, as she cried, suddenly blamed Nathalie Quinlan: ”It was you! You killed my dad!”

Yonathan Wilmar had just finished the phone call and came over, frowned immediately upon hearing, walked over, standing in front of Nathalie Quinlan looking at the sister, didn’t give her any face: ”Raymond, why do you pin the blame on Ms. Quinlan, think clearly what you’ve done yourself.”

”What did I do? I still want to ask what you did!” With Mr. Wilmar gone, the Wilmar family’s inheritance dispute was already unfolding, Raymond didn’t care, directly threw the blame: ”Professor Wafford and Raven were operating on Dad, it was you who switched them halfway, if it weren’t for you switching her in, maybe Dad wouldn’t have had any problems. I also want to ask you, what’s your intention!”

Most of the Wilmar family relatives were present, Raymond only wanted to strike first, set up herself on the moral high ground, so when it comes time to fight for the inheritance, she could have some confidence.
