Seizing the BOSS Template at the Start

Chapter 11: Chapter 9: Upgrading Equipment

These are all technology energy type skills, all Bronze level blueprints and knowledge. The Alchemy system is too vast, and he hasn’t fully mastered it yet.

Looking at the plus sign behind this knowledge, Baiyi thought for a moment and directly clicked on Liquid Bomb.

In the next moment, some images appeared in his mind, his Spiritual Power rapidly declining, as if he suddenly started to manufacture liquid bombs day and night.

Just in a daze, Baiyi snapped back to reality. He shook his slightly swollen head, looked at the panel, and was momentarily stunned.

[Liquid Bomb---500/500.]

One skill point, and the proficiency was directly maxed out? This is way more impressive than the players’ panel.

On the players’ panel, skill points are genuinely like those in regular online games, where a few skill points max out skills.

But the boss template’s skill points genuinely impart knowledge...

Baiyi stood up, quickly took out some liquid metal, and immediately crafted a liquid bomb.

The unparalleled proficiency reduced the original ten-minute crafting process to just three.

[You crafted a Bronze-level item: Liquid Bomb, gaining 10 experience points.]

Baiyi paused because he noticed that Alchemy Technology proficiency also increased by eighty points due to the Liquid Bomb.

Reached [Intermediate Alchemy Technology (2455/5000)].

Is this... true knowledge accumulation!

Baiyi’s desire to upgrade equipment reached a new height, this skill point... is incredibly powerful...

Moreover, crafting equipment of the same level also grants extra experience points....

Grind, we must grind hard!

As long as the boss template has no upper limit, even gods can be ground to death!

However, some preparations must be made. He took out a communicator and sent a message to his best companion, the Quartermaster Sabo, telling him to front three thousand Gold Coins and bring back the knowledge about poison from the Silver Alchemy Potion.

Baiyi’s equipment and shop’s main business are mechanical, but Baiyi still highly values Alchemy Poison. Facing those two Silver members of the Black Night Rose, if it weren’t for poisoning them in advance, his victory might have been more challenging.

After sending the message, Baiyi’s eyes gradually focused. He’s not worried about the stingy Quartermaster refusing this request. In the future firearms transaction of five hundred, both sides will earn at least a hundred thousand Gold Coins from the start.

Although the guns usually cost around three hundred each, with materials reaching twenty Gold Coins, Baiyi trusts that Dwarf.

Because before coming to Dongwu City, Baiyi struggled to accumulate knowledge through alchemy for an entire year.

But after coming to Dongwu City, from developing the Alchemy Barrett and cooperating with Sabo.

Within half a year, in just six months, he gathered all Bronze level general Alchemy knowledge, used top-tier materials, and had time to complete his own tasks.

This is the benefit of meeting the best companion.

Time moves quickly when focused, Baiyi stopped upgrading equipment and looked somewhat tiredly at the panel’s notifications.

[You upgraded three pieces of Bronze level equipment to Silver level, gaining 1500 experience points.]

[You created Silver level equipment: Demon Hunting Revolver, Apocalypse Curtain, Ghost Ancient Ring, gaining extra experience points +1500.]

[You upgraded three Silver equipment, Alchemy Technology proficiency +30, skill points +1.]

Just three pieces of equipment and one skill point was added.

And it was acquired while upgrading the most difficult Apocalypse Curtain, while the other two only gained experience points. Is it based on difficulty to grant skill points, or random chance?

Baiyi pondered, using the appraisal function on his black coat.

[Name: Apocalypse Curtain. (Coat)

Quality: Silver. (Superior)

Durability: 50/50.

Equipment Effect: Can store non-living objects with a diameter no greater than one meter.

Available Space: 3/5.

Equipment Requirement: Spirit 50+.

Introduction: A Bronze Alchemist’s wasteful work, with the effect of the Space-Time Stone greatly diminished, the only consolation being that this equipment can still be upgraded.

Selling Price: 2000 Gold Coins.]

After reading the introduction, Baiyi was not surprised. Due to the game’s 97% reality level, aside from the panel, players experience no difference from reality.

This also means that the storage systems commonly seen in other games do not exist here, and the mission items or other items they acquire must either be exchanged for Contribution Points or sold cheaply to the game.

Because the only thing that can be stored in this game is Gold Coins.

Otherwise, you have to use a sack to carry them.

Of course, those players who truly use sacks have a high chance of being robbed. The Federation represents order, but it does not guarantee safety.

Therefore, players are in dire need of storage items. The first things players think of are Space Rings and Storage Bags, but ultimately, due to technical reasons, they can’t be realized.

And purchasing legendary crafted space equipment is ridiculously expensive.

This ultimately led to the creation of such wasteful items, enchanting clothes with Space-Time Stones that can be used later, temporarily serving as storage clothing.

This is quite necessary. Otherwise, apart from Mages, other professions can only access space-related items at the Gold level, and unless Warriors are of a special profession, they can only open their own personal space at the Legendary level.

Baiyi stood up, walked to a shelf of potions, and drank a Low-Tier Spirit Recovery Potion.

A slight coolness occupied his mind, clearing his previously muddled thoughts.

Using the appraisal function, he examined the other three Silver equipment he had. Their attributes had not increased significantly, further ensuring his personal safety.

[Name: Demon Hunting Revolver.

Quality: Silver (Excellent)

Durability: 70/70

Equipment Effect: Every time a bullet is fired, some kinetic energy is left in the gun, increasing the power of the next bullet. Once the bullets run out, the kinetic energy of six bullets creates a powerful electrical arc, delivering a six-in-one fatal strike to the enemy.

Bullet Count: 6/6

Equipment Requirements: Endurance 10, Intelligence 30.

Introduction: Lightning can wash away all evil. Perhaps the use of it might make your hand feel a bit numb, but its bullets can paralyze stronger enemies.

Selling Price: 1000 Gold Coins.]

This is a weapon used to kill those minor nuisances. Baiyi loved its paralysis feature, and the minor side effects did not deter him from upgrading it.

Unfortunately, this handgun’s potential ends here.

[Name: Ghost Bone Ring.

Quality: Silver (Inferior.)

Durability: 10/10.

Equipment Effect: An invisible ring that can store a small amount of poison and has the power to convert the poison to light rays and vapor.

Equipment Requirements: Spiritual Power 30+

Introduction: Never underestimate the decorations of an alchemy poison master; they might also be deadly equipment.

Selling Price: 800 Gold Coins.]

This ends here too, but Baiyi will make better items once he finds the materials.

[Name: Hive.

Quality: Silver. (Superior)

Durability: 30/30.

Equipment Effect: Can freely control up to 30 mechanical worker bees, which can morph according to the alchemist’s modifications.

Worker Bee Count: 18/30.

Equipment Requirement: Alchemist Level 20+

Introduction: Every alchemist builds their own assistants; you simply chose the Hive. Continuously modify it, and you might yield unexpected rewards.

Selling Price: 5000 Gold Coins.]
