Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

So, all the truly important places were evacuated long ago before they could be besieged, leaving only these less critical locations to continue existing, acting as meat shields to attract firepower.

Meanwhile, they can still exert their last bit of residual heat when necessary.

After Thousand Faces confirmed the identity of the arriving ship, he picked up his terminal again and dialed a number: ”How are the preparations going?”

The voice of the person he had spoken with many times came through the phone: ”We have set off, but doing so will result in at least one batch of people in the government being purged. Is it worth it?”

”It’s fine, as long as we can pull An Wuping in, those being purged will have had their value.”

”You’re executing missions out there, your judgment is the most important. Don’t let us all down.”

”I understand.”

Thousand Faces hung up and continued waiting for Chen Ming’s arrival.

Meanwhile, Chen Ming was already very close to the crescent-shaped, flat Space Station.

After entering the Star System, he had left the ship in a dark corner within the system.

He himself entered Insectification form and flew to the vicinity of the Space Station.

This Mining Space Station looked very similar to another Mining Space Station he had been in before, so he could roughly guess where the core area was.

Like a meteorite, he crashed into the most central part of the Space Station.

When the Zuo Jing forces surrounded him.

Chen Ming officially began the massacre.

Splattering blood and shattered bones became the main theme of this Space Station.

A small amount of metal liquid capable of completely suppressing Spiritual Energy Fluctuation seeped into the Space Station with his arrival, secretly searching for its control hub.

Thousand Faces watched the deranged Chen Ming carrying out the slaughter, not only without anger but with a hint of smugness on his face.

He got up, left the main control room of the Space Station, boarded a small Shuttle Boat, and quietly left the Space Station at the first moment of Chen Ming’s massacre.

Time ticked by, second by second.

The blood of Zuo Jing had gradually stained every corner of the Space Station.

Chen Ming had deliberately slowed down the pace of killing midway through and had taken the time to visit the database here, to find an excuse for his subsequent behavior of only killing Zuo Jing and not the ordinary people.

At the same time, he kept a constant watch on the internal Star System, monitoring the Space Station’s external signals.

To prevent Zuo Jing from having any reinforcements.

Chen Ming thought it was worthwhile to specifically allocate attention to the situation in the Star System.

Just as he was nearing the end of the massacre in the Space Station, at the edge of the Star System, a Cruiser ship emerged from Superspace into normal space.

This was a solitary Cruiser, bearing the government’s insignia.

But instead of feeling relieved that someone had arrived to help him handle the Zuo Jing situation, Chen Ming suddenly had a bad premonition.

Something was off.

He was sure his timing estimate wasn’t wrong.

The local government should only arrive later, not sooner, let alone such a solitary Cruiser without a fleet.

Chen Ming immediately moved to the peripheral area of the Space Station, ignoring all those rushing to attack him.

Standing in an area already enveloped by vacuum, he stared at the incoming government ship.

After entering normal space, the ship began to accelerate again, heading straight for the Space Station.

However, just as it came within range of the Space Station’s big Weapon.

Its Shield began to unfold, and the large Weapon’s muzzle was charging up.

This Cruiser wanted to directly destroy the Space Station.

The government markings were just a disguise; it belonged to Zuo Jing, intending to bury all evidence in this Star System.

This meant all the protective measures Chen Ming had taken for the civilians on the Space Station would be rendered useless.

An Wuping’s actions and thoughts would also be twisted by others into weapons against him, steering him towards Zuo Jing’s path.

As expected, Zuo Jing still had a backup plan, arriving slightly earlier than Chen Ming had thought.

However, it’s just a Cruiser, not impossible to handle.

Chen Ming stood at the edge of the already cleared Space Station, confirming there were no other survivors.

In his Insectification form, he crouched, ready to exert force.

Every muscle in his body suddenly swelled.

The carapace on his back opened.

The Biomass jet was poised to fire.

A terrifying force suddenly acted upon the Space Station below him.

Under the conservation of momentum, this force shattered nearly a quarter of the Space Station in the opposite direction.

Under this force, Chen Ming charged towards the Cruiser at a speed completely invisible to the naked eye.
