Amidst the lush green bamboo forest, Wei Yang and Xiao Yan stood side by side, gazing toward the open clearing ahead.

At this moment, Queen Medusa held a three-foot-long green lotus in her hands. Her entire body was shrouded in a faint azure halo, and her enchanting eyes were fixed intently on the green flame hovering at the center of the lotus platform.

Reflected in the firelight, her faint purple pupils also flickered with arcs of flame.

She stared quietly at the green flame for a long time. As the sky gradually darkened and the temperature began to drop, a soft sigh escaped Medusa’s lips. She lifted her head to gaze at the faintly rising moon on the horizon. Then, with a slight swaying of her serpentine tail, her voluptuous figure slowly stood up straight.

”It’s time to begin.” She murmured in a low voice, casting one final glance at Wei Yang and Xiao Yan, standing at the edge of the clearing.

A rare trace of hesitation flashed across her alluring face, but it was quickly replaced by determination.

Her hands slowly released the green lotus seat, letting it float in midair. Her fair and delicate hands formed a series of seals in front of her body.

Immediately, the green lotus seat trembled slightly, and the invisible barrier covering its surface shattered and vanished.

With the barrier gone, the green flame trembled slightly. Its brightness and heat instantly intensified.

A strange ripple quickly spread outward.

Wei Yang turned around immediately, clasped his hands behind his back, and strolled away. ”You watch from here and be ready to retrieve the Heavenly Flame. I’ll be waiting for you at the edge of the island.”

”Mm.” Xiao Yan nodded.

He also silently turned around, his back facing Medusa.

...

Medusa’s gaze remained locked on the green flame, which had now become noticeably more active inside the lotus seat.

”Just a sliver of hope, huh?”

She gritted her teeth and altered the hand seal once again, slowly guiding the green flame out from the lotus seat.

As the green flame left the lotus platform, losing its confinement—or perhaps its resting place—it instantly flared up in rage.

With a loud roar, the flame burst forth, growing rapidly as it encountered the air. In just the blink of an eye, it transformed into a raging inferno.

Boom!

Whoosh—

The green flame surged to nearly ten meters in height, its azure light illuminating the sky above the lake island.

Gritting her teeth against the scorching heat, Medusa pushed the lotus seat backward. ”Young Master Xiao Yan!”

Xiao Yan turned around. A beam of green light shot toward him at high speed. He hurriedly reached out and caught it—it was the green lotus seat.

Ahead of him, the green flame raged violently, burning with terrifying intensity.

Under such overwhelming heat, even the Ice Spirit Cold Fountain in the small pool began to evaporate!

Xiao Yan instinctively took several steps back. Around him, the bamboo forest rapidly withered under the scorching temperature.

This was the first time the Green Lotus Core Flame revealed its terrifying power to the world.

Biting her red lips with her pearly teeth, Medusa slowly unfastened the clasps of her robe. In the next moment, a flawlessly sculpted body, as though crafted by the heavens themselves, was exposed to the open air.

At that moment, Xiao Yan—who had been about to turn away out of respect—froze in place, utterly stunned.

That flawless, snow-white, curvaceous figure exuded a scorching allure that made one’s mouth go dry and throat itch.

Her stunning face carried a seductive charm like that of a fairy, her long white neck exposing an elegant curve.

Her slender waist seemed barely enough to grasp with one hand, and despite its slight thinness, it radiated a resilient suppleness.

Her flat and delicate lower abdomen bore no excess fat, and at a glance, it evoked an irresistible desire to reach out and gently trace over it.

Beneath her willowy waist lay the wild, exotic beauty of her purple snake tail. As it swayed slightly, it added an indescribable charm.

This flawless, enchanting body—one that countless men had dreamed of—was now exposed in full, allowing Xiao Yan a visual feast.

Unfortunately, though the upper body was dazzling, the lower half revealed a serpentine form. Otherwise, it would have been even more irresistible.

Even so, it was still a body capable of driving any man insane with desire.

Xiao Yan couldn’t look away for a long time, his mouth dry and heart racing.

From his lower abdomen, a wave of lustful fire suddenly surged upward, causing his face to flush bright red.

Panicking, he quickly averted his eyes, not daring to continue looking. After all, this wasn’t the right time or place.

He immediately circulated his dou qi, forcibly suppressing the restlessness rising within him.

”Queen Medusa was born with a natural allure. That charm, to a man, is no different from the most potent aphrodisiac.”

”Of course, with her current strength, she can fully control it, concealing it most of the time.”

”Only when she’s like this, without any clothes, does that natural charm unconsciously seep out.”

”Hmm, little brat, you’re still young—be careful. Lust leads to ruin, you know! A woman like her... you probably can’t handle her right now.” Yao Lao said earnestly.

”Uh...” Xiao Yan gave an awkward laugh, his expression a bit embarrassed as he nodded.

But in his heart, he muttered, ”It’s not like I looked on purpose. I mean, she’s still a snake—I’m not that into reptiles.”

Hiss—

At the center of the island, hidden amidst the bamboo grove, a surge of cyan light burst forth.

Within the cyan flames, a roar erupted—it was something between a lion’s roar and a tiger’s howl. The powerful sound rolled out from within the blazing light. Not long after that roar, a blinding purple glow suddenly surged into the sky.

”Is it starting?” Wei Yang withdrew his gaze from the lake and looked up toward the heart of the island.

A massive purple serpent, at least ten-zhang long, slowly revealed its form.

Its long, powerful body exuded an elegant beauty. The faint purple pupils in its eyes showed no trace of ferocity; instead, there was a quiet serenity to them.

Hovering in midair, the purple serpent slowly coiled and twisted its massive body. Its huge head lifted slightly, and its gaze swept over the city one last time—then, it dove straight into the cyan flames.

Boom—

The cyan flames instantly surged higher, erupting like a volcano.

Screeeech—

A sharp, pained scream echoed out from the center of the island.

Night fell over the land.

”This... this is insane!”

Within the bamboo grove, Xiao Yan shivered violently from head to toe.

Through the gaps in the bamboo leaves, he gazed at the blazing cyan fire ahead.

Inside, the massive purple serpent was twisting madly, its long body thrashing. In Xiao Yan’s line of sight, he could clearly see the serpent’s scales begin to warp and distort rapidly.

Eventually, the scales were burnt pitch-black by the Heavenly Flame and began falling off one by one, revealing the flesh beneath—flesh that was being scorched with a terrifying sizzling sound.

Crimson blood flowed out, but the moment it appeared, it was instantly vaporized by the terrifying temperature of the Heavenly Flame. All that remained were dark red scars crisscrossing the serpent’s body.

The air was filled with the faint scent of scorched flesh.

As blood and moisture continued to evaporate, the serpent’s giant body visibly shrank at a speed the naked eye could follow.

Xiao Yan watched with a horrified expression.

This... this is the true terrifying power of a Heavenly Flame!

Thinking that he would soon face the same experience—being burned by such a flame—he couldn’t help but shudder.

”Master... is this the true might of the Heavenly Flame?” Xiao Yan murmured.

”It is,” Yao Lao sighed.
