Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 491: Chapter 486: Can You Please Put in Some Effort

Even though Nangong Bing’s wonderful chest was rubbing on the back of Lin Zifeng’s head, Lin Zifeng was not in the mood at all.

Having been defeated by Long Tianya, he felt a sense of failure deep inside, but fortunately, his ability to regulate his emotions was strong, and he hadn’t lost his philosophy of facing life.

”Does it still hurt?” Nangong Bing hugged him tensely, her voice gentle and delicate, completely different from the Nangong Bing at the company.

”It doesn’t hurt anymore.” Lin Zifeng nodded.

”I’ll help you back to rest first.”

”I can get up by myself, boss, don’t touch me, I’m dirty, I might get you dirty.” Lin Zifeng said concernedly.

”What time is it, and you still have this stubborn temper. You’ve fallen like this, and you still care about face over suffering? Hurry, let me help you back to the room and apply some medicine. I’ll take you to the hospital tomorrow.”

Nangong Bing bent down her delicate body and hurriedly helped Lin Zifeng up forcefully, seeing the bloody, fleshly wound under his arm, she felt incredibly heartbroken, but didn’t know how to help him.

After helping Lin Zifeng into the room, and at Nangong Bing’s insistent request, Lin Zifeng finally reluctantly removed all his clothes.

Under the light, looking at the man’s bronze skin shimmering faintly, and his sharply defined body curves, Nangong Bing was somewhat surprised. Normally, Lin Zifeng didn’t look very muscular in clothes, but now, stripped of his clothes revealing strong body curves, it indeed gave Nangong Bing quite a shock.

Lin Zifeng’s body proportions were neither thin nor fat, similar to Chinese movie star Bruce Lee’s physique, only taller by a head.

A typical perfect male physique, it was just unfortunate that that golden ratio perfect physique was covered in chilling scars and various holes and pits, especially the winding scar below his abdomen, which caused Nangong Bing to feel a sense of chilling dread after seeing it.

She really couldn’t fathom why Lin Zifeng had so many scars on his body, and looking at those hole-filled scars, they seemed similar to gunshot wounds from movies, but she hardly dared to imagine, how such an ordinary guy like Lin Zifeng could have such a mysterious past.

Lin Zifeng turned his head to look at Nangong Bing, whose expression was somewhat blank, chuckled, and flashed a pale, charming smile, ”Do you plan to just keep staring at me like this?”

”Uh! Ah!” Nangong Bing’s cheeks blushed, her beautiful eyes and cheeks looked a bit unnatural, she subconsciously touched her pretty face and quickly glared at him severely, defending herself, ”I, I was just examining the scars on your body, don’t think too much.”

Nangong Bing had grown up seeing quite a few muscular men at beaches abroad, but she always felt the muscles on men rather disgusting, just like stones, lacking any aesthetic appreciation.

But now, having seen Lin Zifeng,

she thought that not every man was disgusting; some men also had very perfect body curves, take Lin Zifeng for example.

”Look, Bingbing, if you keep dawdling like this, I reckon it won’t be long before I might actually die from bleeding out. Then, I’d be in real pain, not having died from the fall but from bleeding out at home, probably more wronged than anyone,” Lin Zifeng said with a bitter smile.

”Y-you just bear with it a bit longer, I’ll go get something and be right back.” Nangong Bing’s face turned red, seeing the blood flowing ceaselessly from his body, she too was becoming anxious.

Uh... by the time you come back, I’ll probably have kicked the bucket...

Lin Zifeng shrugged his shoulders and shook his head helplessly.

It wasn’t until Nangong Bing walked into the room with a box of medicine in her hand that the scene inside the room left Nangong Bing gaping in astonishment.

Zifeng held a rusty needle in his hand, threading it with a skin suture, biting down on his teeth to stitch up the wound on his arm. Each stitch was real and painful, the man’s face turned pale, with a piece of cloth in his mouth, his bronze skin beaded with yellowish sweat that made his skin appear even more glossy and bright.

”You, what are you doing...” Nangong Bingxin covered her mouth as if cut by a knife, her pretty peach-like face slowly turning pale.

Meanwhile, in the room, Zifeng forcefully endured the pain in his arms, smiled faintly at Nangong Bing, and said, ”These wounds have cracked open, I need to stitch them up with skin sutures first. You should leave, it’s too dirty here.”

”You!” Tears started to form in Nangong Bing’s eyes.

Now, the relationship between the two was like a thin paper, which if punctured by anyone first could lead to very peculiar things. However, Nangong Bing was naturally thin-skinned and harbored another man in the depths of her heart; she could never admit her extra feelings for Zifeng.

”What’s wrong with you?”

”It’s nothing!” Nangong Bing whimpered and turned to run towards her room, but the tears at the corners of her eyes still escaped in that fleeting moment.

She tried not to let Zifeng know, still pretending to be strong.

”Strange woman,” Zifeng shook his head.

He couldn’t figure out which act the old Buddha was putting on with him...

This injury not only made Zifeng understand many truths, but it also let him experience the gentle and amiable side of Nangong Bing at home.

Within a week, in order to take care of Zifeng’s health, Nangong Bing, despite being busy with her company, would first take him to the hospital for a check-up as soon as she got home every day, then the two would often go to some restaurant for dinner at night.

Although their relationship was changing slightly, someone seemed to be avoiding emotions.

That day, being the weekend, Nangong Bing took him back from the hospital after the final check-up. Zifeng drove, complaining, ”Bingbing, I’m already well. Do we have to run to the hospital every day? You didn’t see, every time that old doctor gives me a shot in the butt, those intern nurses around hastily stare in that direction. It’s still okay if they know, but those who don’t might think this hospital has a serious imbalance of yin and yang, with the nurses being that desperate.”

Nangong Bing’s brows furrowed, her fair and delicate face shaded by oversized sunglasses, accentuating her cool and elegant demeanor.

Especially her straight, smooth legs—his eyes ended up staring fixedly.

”Lin, cut the chatter, focus on driving, will you? You could cause an accident this way,” she said.

Nangong Bing still maintained her ladylike image, her expression calm and serene.

”I am focusing. Don’t you see the red light up ahead?” Zifeng shrugged his shoulders and chuckled.

Just then, a purple mini Mercedes approached from not too far away, also waiting for the traffic light.

Yet inside the Mercedes were three fashionably dressed young men, continuously flaunting their hairstyles freshly done from the salon.

However, one of the young men inadvertently glanced at Nangong Bing waiting for the light next to them, his eyes suddenly lit up as if he had spotted a treasure.

”Hey! Beautiful,” two of the young men from the car whistled and greeted towards Nangong Bing’s direction
