Chapter 483: Chapter 478 Nangong Bing Alcohol Poisoning

Hearing the screams coming from behind, Nangong Bing frowned in confusion and said, ”Surname Lin, are you the one causing trouble?”

”What?” Lin Zifeng feigned ignorance.

”Stop pretending with me, I know it must’ve been you, right? Otherwise, why would those two start fighting?”

”Bingbing, you’re really misunderstanding me here. Weren’t you at the scene just now? What could I possibly have done? It’s probably because they felt guilty, and seeing such a beautiful woman like you here, they started dog-eat-dog,” Lin Zifeng retorted with a curl of his lip, disagreeing with her statement.

Nangong Bing just stared at him with an extremely complicated look for quite a while. Finally, her tightly knitted brows slightly relaxed before she slowly uttered, ”You’re so cheap!”

Having said that, she turned her proud head and walked toward the sports car, without the slightest regard for Lin Zifeng’s reaction.

”I’m cheap? How am I cheap?” Lin Zifeng was sulking. Clearly, I helped you deal with the bad guys, and now I end up being the cheap one?

After getting into the car, Nangong Bing didn’t take the driver’s seat; instead, she sat in the passenger seat, quietly waiting for him.

”Aren’t you driving?” Lin Zifeng asked curiously.

”I had some drinks just now, and my head is a little dizzy, so you can be the designated driver,” she said.

”Didn’t you say you weren’t drunk? How could you be drunk on beer that’s like a beverage?” Lin Zifeng teased.

”I’m not drunk, but do you know what the consequences of drunk driving are?”

”I know,” Lin Zifeng nodded his head.

”If you know, then why ask so much?” Remembering the scene where Lin Zifeng kissed her, Nangong Bing felt incredibly irritated at that moment; that was her first kiss, after all.

To have lost it to him in such a muddle, to cover her own embarrassment, Nangong Bing tried her best not to deal with him as if nothing had happened. That was the only thing she could do at the moment.

”But I drank too,” Lin Zifeng said, expressionless.

”...”

Nangong Bing was speechless.

...

It wasn’t until eleven o’clock at night that the two of them staggered home. Both had drunk a little, and at Nangong Bing’s insistence, they ended up taking a taxi back.

Throughout the journey, the effects of the alcohol made Nangong Bing’s head spin.

What drove Nangong Bing crazy was that every time she even slightly touched him, this guy would coolly claim she was taking advantage of him...

As soon as they got home, Nangong Bing ran into her room. It seemed like the alcohol she had drunk outside had yet to evaporate.

Ah, women, always drinking things they can’t handle, now suffering for it.

Lin Zifeng shook his head, sighed deeply, and headed to the bathroom.

Having sweated all night, not taking a bath before bed would definitely make it hard to sleep.

Moreover, in such hot weather, even if he hadn’t sweated, a shower was probably needed.

Upon entering the bathroom, Lin Zifeng swiftly stripped off his clothes and the dirty, stained underwear.

The filthy sweat-soaked clothes made him feel nauseous just from the smell.

But just as he was about to fully strip and step into the bathtub, he happened to notice two different colored bras and a pair of black, sexy panties hanging in the wardrobe of the bathroom.

Lin Zifeng only glanced at them briefly and didn’t pay much attention. After all, he wasn’t perverted enough to inspect women’s underwear.

To avoid getting the shower water on the bras, Lin Zifeng, out of kindness, pushed those few pieces of sexy underwear further into the wardrobe.

After taking a bath, he had intended to get a good night’s sleep.

However, Nangong Bing, having changed into a bathrobe, was leaning against the wall outside the bathroom, seemingly waiting for something.

”What’s wrong?” Lin Zifeng asked softly, noticing that Nangong Bing’s eyes were half-closed, as if the alcohol hadn’t completely worn off.

”Are you done?” Nangong Bing asked faintly without opening her eyes.

”Yeah, I’m done.”

Lin Zifeng nodded.

”Once you’re done, go upstairs.” Uncharacteristically, Nangong Bing didn’t scold him, even though there were several bathrooms in the villa; but Lin Zifeng particularly liked to use Nangong Bing’s personal bathroom to bathe. It was specially well-fitted, and every piece of decoration was European in design. Even a casual mirror was from a European top designer’s exhibition. Lin Zifeng wondered what connections Nangong Bing must have used to gather all these treasures.

”Are you really okay?”

It was apparent from the abnormal flush on her perfect face that something was not right. Lin Zifeng became concerned.

”I’m really fine. Go on up, I need to take a bath.”

The reason Nangong Bing dared to stand in front of him wearing just a bathrobe was because, despite his bad-boy talk, he wasn’t lecherous at heart, which Nangong Bing was well aware of.

But just as Nangong Bing finished speaking, her soft body collapsed, and fortunately, Lin Zifeng was quick to catch her in his arms.

”What’s wrong?” Lin Zifeng’s brows furrowed with concern.

”I... I feel dizzy.” As soon as she spoke, Nangong Bing’s breathing started to become rapid.

”Damn it! Alcohol poisoning!”

Instantly, a thought flashed through Lin Zifeng’s mind.

He hadn’t expected her to have such low alcohol tolerance, considering that she had only drunk close to two bottles of beer.

The realization of alcohol poisoning made Lin Zifeng’s stoic heart twinge in pain.

Luckily, Lin Zifeng had medical training from his time as a combat medic and knew a bit about medical care.

This allowed him to provide the best treatment for Nangong Bing during the critical period after the onset of alcohol poisoning...

It wasn’t until the next day when Nangong Bing gradually opened her eyes, that she saw someone resting beside her.

As Nangong Bing slowly opened her eyes and saw Lin Zifeng’s sleeping face, her feelings grew complicated.

”Are you awake?”

Suddenly, a gentle male voice reached Nangong Bing’s ears.

”What... What happened to me last night?” Nangong Bing knew about the previous night’s events, but to hide her embarrassment, she asked anyway.

”You had a slight case of alcohol poisoning last night. I arrived just in time. Otherwise, you might have developed complications.”

”Alcohol poisoning? Did I drink alcohol last night?” Nangong Bing’s beautiful eyes shifted.

”Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten? Who was it that insisted on drinking beer as if it were a soft drink last night?” Lin Zifeng was speechless. Had she really forgotten?

”Whoever drank beer like a soft drink, that’d be you!” Nangong Bing’s neck blushed as she lifted her proud chin slightly and argued defiantly.

Though she had slept soundly through the night, it didn’t affect her ethereal quality or her stunning beauty.

Her mischievous gaze started to dodge.

Her flushed cheeks almost seemed like they could drip with moisture, clearly a sign of embarrassment. As the CEO of Tianyu Group, she had seen all manner of scenes, but arguing was not her strong suit.
