Chapter 474: Chapter 469: Commit Many Injustices and You Will Bring About Your Own Destruction

Having battled in the business world for so many years, Nangong Bing’s intuition told her something was off in the garage.

It was a kind of intuition. The entire garage was eerily silent, not even a hint of a sound.

This caused Nangong Bing to become somewhat worried.

She furrowed her beautiful willow leaf-shaped eyebrows and step by step, walked toward her sports car.

However, soon an odd thought inexplicably surged in Nangong Bing’s heart.

Why did she feel like it was that surnamed Lin playing a prank on her?

They had agreed he would come to the company before eight in the evening, and now it was almost nine. Could it be that this guy didn’t enter the company directly and was intentionally hiding in the garage playing a game of hide and seek with her?

Thinking this, Nangong Bing became even more convinced of the idea. This surnamed Lin was good at many things, but he especially loved to do bizarre stuff. Could it be that he was hiding somewhere in the garage? Or even in her car?

Uh! Surnamed Lin, do you think this queen can’t guess where you are hiding? Little fellow, daring to play this trick with me, Nangong Bing, wait and see if I don’t teach you a lesson, then my name isn’t Nangong.

Wu wu, but what exactly does this surnamed Lin want to play at? It’s so late at night, there’s not a shadow in the garage, doesn’t he know that we girls are very timid? He still has the mood to joke with me, wu wu, damn it, you blockhead. Don’t you have any compassion or care?

Her slender jade feet lightly tapped on the ground twice, especially in this suffocatingly quiet garage, any slight sound from her high heels would echo throughout the garage, creating a series of small echoes.

”Lin Zifeng! I know it’s you, stop hiding, come out,” Nangong Bing’s eyes sparkled, standing under the dim light of the garage, with crossed arms and dressed in white which complemented her flowing hair, making her seem like a fairy, the undisputed queen of the Zhonghai City business world.

But as Nangong Bing slightly parted her cherry lips, the garage still did not echo any reply back to her, which made her brows furrow with increasing tension.

”Lin Zifeng, come out, I already know you’re here. Stop playing this little kitten game with me.”

”Lin Zifeng!” Nangong Bing called out again.

But the entire garage emanated a deathly silence, with absolutely no echo at all.

Just as Nangong Bing was pondering, something dropped somewhere inside the garage.

Instantly, Nangong Bing’s pretty face turned pale with fright.

Suddenly, a small tabby cat, its furry body swaying, walked out of a small car.

It even made meowing sounds. This cat was generally kept by the underground garage management staff, intended to keep mice and the like from hiding.

Immediately, Nangong Bing closed her beautiful eyes, her right hand covering her chest, and took a long breath of relief. This damnable cat had almost scared her to death.

Just as Nangong Bing let down her guard and walked toward her beloved car, right as she opened the car door she found a familiar figure sitting inside!

”It’s you!”

Nangong Bing took a step back with her cold eyebrows furrowed.

”President working so late, are you not afraid of encountering any danger?” Inside the car, the man wore a black cap and a black sports casual outfit with patterned edges, his hand holding a gleaming small knife that he continuously scraped against his chin, as if his chin had an endless stubble.

”Huang Daming, weren’t you already fired? What are you still doing here?” Nangong Bing’s face turned cold.

It was because of the incident with Huang Daming that almost led to the media exposing the brawls among Tianyu Group’s employees.

”Fired? Do you think that’s fair to me?” Huang Daming slowly emerged from the car, his face twisted into a sinister smile.

”Fair? I didn’t pursue any responsibility for you bringing guards to create havoc in the security department. Do you know the consequences this has brought to the company? What if there was a client or the media present, do you understand the peril you would have put Tianyu into? Huang Daming, considering the contributions you made to the company this past year, I have already given you a compensation of five hundred thousand. Do you think that’s not enough, or do you feel I, Nangong Bing, have wronged you?”

”Ha! Five hundred thousand in compensation?” Huang Daming sneered, shaking the gleaming knife in his hand, and scoffed, ”I devoted myself wholly to the company, and this is the result I get in the end? Do you think you, Nangong Bing, have done right by me? I never thought you would fire me, Huang Daming, over a minor security issue. Thinking about it is truly laughable.”

”Hmph, Tianyu Group is fair to every employee, do you still think half a million in compensation is not enough?” Nangong Bing snorted coldly, she hadn’t expected that Huang Daming would actually find her here.

”Nangong Bing, you know very well how I have treated you. For the sake of a new security guard, you treat me like this, has your conscience been eaten by a dog? From the day I joined Tianyu, I admired you. Didn’t you see that? For you, I turned down many offers to be a bodyguard for other company bosses and came to your Tianyu to be a mere security team leader with no real power. Do you think what I did was worth it?”

Huang Daming’s teeth were clenched, venting all the grievances and complaints he had harbored within this past year. Clearly, his mindset had become somewhat distorted.

”Huang Daming, I’m advising you one last time, wicked deeds will come back to haunt you!”

After saying that, Nangong Bing disregarded his twisted expression and headed straight for her sports car.

She was never a woman to fuss over trivial matters with others, nor would she bother to speak any further with Huang Daming.

In any case, she felt that what she did was right and that she had stayed true to herself, which was enough, even if others didn’t understand her, Nangong Bing, as long as she felt she was right.

”You, stop right there!”

Huang Daming suddenly grabbed Nangong Bing’s wrist, yelling with all his might.

”What are you trying to do?” Nangong Bing’s eyes instantly turned cold, staring fixedly at Huang Daming.

”What am I trying to do? I did all that just to have you, and now that we’ve shredded all pretense, there’s no need for me to act like a gentleman anymore.” As he spoke, the force of Huang Daming’s fingers increased.

”Let go of me! Huang Daming, how dare you!” Nangong Bing’s delicate arms were firmly clutched in Huang Daming’s hand, no matter how she struggled, she found it very difficult to break free.

”Nangong Bing, stop acting so self-righteous in front of me, just because you think you’re the top queen of Zhonghai City’s business world. You’re already 23 years old, don’t you think your life has been a failure? You haven’t even experienced what a man tastes like, today I’ll let you experience the thrill a man can bring!”
