Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 472: Chapter 467: You Can’t Say No

”What are you talking about? I was just worried you might burn your nice skin; don’t get the wrong idea!” After Lin Zifeng took the hot pot, he hurriedly placed it on the living room’s crystal dining table, afraid that if he exchanged another glance or two with Mu Yang, the seductive elf, he might truly fall...

”Isn’t that being caring?” Mu Yang laughed heartily. The shyer Lin Zifeng acted, the cuter she found him.

Especially seeing Lin Zifeng looking utterly bewildered, along with his guilty demeanor, filled her with joy.

Generally, slightly older women all like this type of man.

Mu Yang gave Lin Zifeng a really good feeling, and he quite liked her as well. Her personality was straightforward and direct, without much scheming. That was the biggest reason Lin Zifeng was willing to date Mu Yang.

However, Lin Zifeng was thinking to himself that now he had no way to break it off with Mu Yang. He couldn’t just say it was over. After all, the nature of their relationship had become quite tangled.

All he could blame was his own youth.

If he had been more cautious initially and hadn’t fallen for Mu Yang, he wouldn’t be in this melodramatic mess today.

Damn it, one pitfall after another.

He now regretted knowing Mu Yang. They say even a rabbit doesn’t eat the grass by its burrow. What about himself? Not only did he eat the grass, but he also cleaned it out completely. Damn. Thinking about it felt somewhat embarrassing.

”Are you hungry?” Mu Yang, twisting her sexy figure, approached Lin Zifeng and asked with concern.

”A little.” He hadn’t eaten breakfast all day, and Nangong Bing had insisted on dragging him to the hospital; how could he not be hungry?

”Here, what’s in the pot is bull pizzle. I had a lot of people bring it back for me—it’s from Spain, and it’s very nourishing, especially for a man with a slim body like yours; it’s definitely effective,” Mu Yang licked her lips, her eyes filled with infinite mischief.

Last time, Lin Zifeng remembered clearly, the ambiguous event that had occurred that night. Thinking about it now stirred both fond memories and a bit of fear. Who knew what Mu Yang was up to this time?

Lin Zifeng decided that was enough; this clearly insulted his physical condition!

A man could say no! But he could never admit to being incapable!

”I don’t think I need that stuff,” Lin Zifeng said earnestly.

”Oh?!”

As she was bending over to open the pot for Lin Zifeng, Mu Yang suddenly paused, her willowy brows slightly raised.

”Giggle. You’re quite confident, huh?”

”Always been confident.”

”You mean, you don’t need to eat bull pizzle at all?” Mu Yang licked her lips, her gaze tender and watery.

”Look, Manager Mu, what kind of joke is this? With a physique as good as mine, do I still need that stuff? You’re underestimating Lin Zifeng’s capabilities!”

”I don’t think you’re that impressive. If you’re capable, don’t just talk; show some real action.”

Leaning on the couch, with the faint scent wafting from the pot stirring him, Lin Zifeng actually felt tempted. But he was a man of restraint.

What woman hadn’t he seen?

Even in his own house, despite such a big beauty as the old madam, he never harbored any ulterior motives, much less toward Mu Yang.

Not until Mu Yang had prepared and brought all the meals to the crystal table did the two of them finally gather around the table.

Smelling the enticing aroma wafting from the table.

It had to be said, Mu Yang’s cooking skills were indeed impressive.

”Eat up.” Mu Yang’s rosy cheeks looked tender; she had learned all these dishes from watching many cooking shows recently.

If it wasn’t for the sake of winning Lin Zifeng’s favor, she wouldn’t have gone through all this trouble.

”Did you make all these dishes yourself?” Looking at the table full of colorful and delicious dishes, Lin Zifeng couldn’t quite believe it. With Mu Yang being such a delicate woman, it seemed impossible that she could have prepared them.

Maybe she had secretly bought them ready-made and claimed to have made them herself.

”What? You still don’t believe in my cooking skills?”

Mu Yang glanced at him scornfully.

”It’s not that I don’t believe it, I just can’t believe it,” Lin Zifeng honestly replied.

”Come on, do you really think I’m so worthless in your eyes? A useless, spoiled girl who can’t do anything?”

”No, no, you’ve misunderstood; I was just skeptical. With your delicate condition, and being a rich second generation, working at Tianyu, you must be earning five or six hundred thousand a year, right? I really can’t believe my eyes that you would cook this whole table of dishes for me.”

”Enough of your jokes, brother. Here, have some tripe.” Mu Yang held something that looked like beef and stretched it towards his bowl.

”This isn’t some kind of bull penis, is it?”

Lin Zifeng was genuinely afraid of her now, watching as she reached out her hand to offer him that piece of beef, not knowing if it was really tripe.

”Relax, I made this especially for you. It’s not a bull penis, but it is indeed part of the bull. Eating it will definitely do you no harm,” Mu Yang said with a faint smile.

”Don’t you feel like something’s missing? How about some liquor?”

”Manager Mu, you’re not trying to get me drunk, are you? Then take advantage of me while I’m intoxicated? You’re really bad, you know?”

”As if! With your little capability, I’m saying this not to offend you. I wouldn’t be interested in you. Just sit down. I’ll get the liquor.” Saying this, without waiting for Lin Zifeng to react, Mu Yang was already heading to fetch the alcohol.

”How about this liquor? It’s 46 proof, can you handle it?”

”Moutai, huh?” Lin Zifeng asked.

”This was gifted to me by a friend, and I’ve always been reluctant to drink it. Today, you’re the lucky guy.”

As she spoke, Mu Yang didn’t slack off. She started pouring a big glass of liquor for Lin Zifeng and only poured a small gulp for herself, clearly intending to get Lin Zifeng drunk that night.

”Uh... heh heh, well, Manager Mu, I have something to do tonight, please don’t pour me too much. If I get drunk and my wife finds out, I will really be in trouble tonight,” Lin Zifeng chuckled awkwardly.

”It’s fine, given your drinking capacity this should be nothing, right? You’re a grown man; surely you can handle this little amount of alcohol? I didn’t expect you to be incompetent in that regard, and unable to handle your liquor too?”

Mu Yang flicked her long hair in front of her forehead, each sentence hinting at an insinuation, each one poking at Lin Zifeng’s weaknesses.

”Fill them all up!” Lin Zifeng shouted frustratedly, pointing at his glass.

...

After several glasses, Mu Yang was a bit confused.

Her beautiful autumn eyes shimmered with a touchingly gentle light.

She had just wanted to rile up Lin Zifeng by making him drink, but who knew that this man in front of her could hold his liquor so well?

He had almost finished an entire bottle of Moutai, and yet he seemed not the slightest bit tipsy.

What enraged Mu Yang the most was that she, who was simply accompanying him, started to feel tipsy before he did. How could this be? She intended to get him drunk, yet ended up getting herself drunk, which was just absurd.

”Is there any more?”

After finishing the last glass Mu Yang poured, Lin Zifeng wiped the sweat from his forehead, acknowledging the potency of the Moutai was indeed fiercer than ordinary liquor.

”You, you still want to drink? Aren’t, aren’t you drunk?”

Mu Yang stared, lips parted, at the sunny-looking man sitting across from her, finding his state hard to believe.

”Drunk? Not at all. Why do I feel more addicted the more I drink? Is there any more? The weather is so hot today, and I’m a bit thirsty. Let’s have some more to drink.”

I, I...

Now it was Mu Yang’s turn to be speechless.

This was Moutai worth thousands per bottle! It’s not tap water, and yet he, he could just drink it like water? Was this guy even human?

Mu Yang opened her mouth in shock, but found herself unable to speak. It had been her plan to get him drunk, and now look what happened.

His tolerance for alcohol far exceeded her imagination.

She’d seen people who could drink, quite a few of them, but never someone who could drink baijiu like it was water, those were even rarer.

Not to mention the price of this Moutai, but also its alcohol content was not something ordinary people could handle.

With Lin Zifeng drinking like this, even if you gave him a whole crate of Moutai, he would be able to finish it off.

A bottle of Moutai is worth a few thousand. Moreover, they are all collector edition bottles, some of which you couldn’t buy even if you had the money.

”Manager Mu, my mouth still feels parched, do you have any more?”

”Uh... no, there’s none left,” Mu Yang blankly replied, her pretty face turning expressionless.

However, just as Lin Zifeng was about to get up, Mu Yang suddenly had a bright idea.

Pointing her delicate finger at her temple and narrowing her eyes, she muttered, ”Zifeng, I, I think I’m drunk. My head feels so dizzy.”

As she spoke, Mu Yang dramatically fell into Lin Zifeng’s arms, her richly fragrant body seemingly losing all strength as she gently leaned against him.

Her act was just like the real thing.

Feeling the soft, delicate body in his arms, Lin Zifeng kept muttering to himself: She’s faking it, yes! This must be an act. Let’s just support her.

”Manager Mu, what’s wrong with you?” Even though he knew Mu Yang was acting, Lin Zifeng did not call her out.

”Zifeng, I feel so dizzy. Maybe it’s because I drank too much earlier, and now I feel so uncomfortable all over. Can you help me to my room?” Mu Yang’s beautiful eyes sparkled enticingly as she sneakily glanced at Lin Zifeng’s face, seeing no expression there, she then relaxed and continued to feign drunkenness.

”But that can’t be. I drank the whole bottle earlier, you shouldn’t be drunk, right?”

”But I do feel dizzy now. Maybe I just can’t hold my liquor. Please, help me to the room. I can’t even stand,” she almost fell as soon as she finished talking.

”Alright then.”

Is this what they call being turned tables on me?

Lin Zifeng was screaming hysterically inside.

But just as he was about to push the woman in his arms away, the thighs clinging around Lin Zifeng’s waist suddenly pulled his body onto the bed.

From the day he exited Dark Prison, his future was destined to be a blank slate.

It’s not that Lin Zifeng was always so fiercely blooded, but some matters had to be resolved sooner or later.

Heavenly Gate! This organization that filled Lin Zifeng with hatred, he would eventually obliterate them!

Although I’m not a born king, in my bones flows the blood that forbids me to bow down!

While Lin Zifeng was lost in thought, Mu Yang in his arms suddenly twitched her brows twice.

Soon after, Mu Yang woke from her slumber, rubbing her slightly confused eyelids. First, she lifted the covers to check her own state, then her gaze swept over Lin Zifeng lying beside her.

”Uh, you’re awake?” Lin Zifeng felt his facial muscles twitch uncontrollably for a moment.

Especially when Mu Yang fully regained consciousness, the way her eyes lightly swept over him.

It made the cold sweat on Lin Zifeng’s forehead increase more and more. Click, she’s awake. He’s drunk.

Eight hours ago, the two had gotten into trouble because they drank a bit too much.

Now...

He was speechlessly furious.

”Don’t tell me you’re not capable anymore?” Mu Yang teased with a mischievous and scornful look as she extended her middle finger.

”Who’s not capable? I was just worried about hurting you!” he said, his face flushing and neck stiffening.

”What are we waiting for then? Come on!” Mu Yang instantly flipped the covers off, revealing her perfect body again to Lin Zifeng.

...

An hour later,

Mu Yang spoke first: ”Were you about to say something about taking responsibility for me?”

”Mmm-hmm.”

”I don’t like you,” she said, staring directly at Lin Zifeng, wrapped under the covers.

”I don’t like you either,” Lin Zifeng responded frankly.

”You!” Mu Yang’s face changed color but soon suppressed the rising anger in her chest and smiled, ”Why don’t you like me? Is it because I’m not pretty enough or sexy enough?”

”Neither,” Lin Zifeng turned his head away.

”Then why don’t you like me?” Mu Yang, seeming a bit persistent, pressed on.
