Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 97: Chapter 97 I am professional

About half an hour later, Hua Buqi’s agent, Meng Youjing, along with the flamboyant makeup artist who had done Lin Zifeng’s makeup a few days ago, hurried over.

And the two of them brought a whole bunch of things, both large and small.

”Hello there, handsome.”

As soon as the flamboyant makeup artist saw Lin Zifeng, he greeted him with a beaming smile and seemed very happy.

Fucking hell! I absolutely detest those effeminate assholes.

Lin Zifeng’s face was nearly black as he tried his best to ignore him.

Seeing a grown man wiggling his butt and making extravagant gestures in front of him made Lin Zifeng want to beat him up!

Especially since last time, he even pinched my butt while doing my makeup! Just thinking about it pisses me off.

I was almost on the verge of exploding last time, and now they’ve brought him here again.

”By the way, what’s-his-name? Are you ready?” As soon as Meng Youjing entered, she pointed at Lin Zifeng with a diva attitude, but couldn’t recall his name.

”Ready for what?”

”Didn’t Huahua tell you?” When Meng Youjing arrived, she reminded Huahua that it would be best to find a temporary boyfriend to fill in, otherwise it would be really chaotic at the time.

”Sister Meng, don’t worry about the affairs I handle. This guy has agreed,” Hua Buqi, who was cozily watching TV while hugging a large cartoon bear on the sofa, said.

”Can he pull it off? He can fight, sure, but I don’t know if he can pretend to be all high and mighty,” Meng Youjing scrutinized Lin Zifeng as if he were some kind of oddity, scanning him from head to toe.

Having this guy play the part of a wealthy bachelor? He might be good enough to be a fighting bodyguard, but I don’t know if he can be convincing as a rich, second-generation boyfriend.

”Whether it works or not, isn’t up to you,” Lin Zifeng said irritably, giving her a glance. How come in just a few days, this woman has changed again, looking down on people.

”Alright then, you better get ready,” Meng Youjing said, giving him a deep look. She still vividly remembered what happened last time.

”Animal, come get your makeup done.”

”Not doing it.”

Lin Zifeng sat on the sofa, expressionless, like a shy young lady.

”Yo! What’s wrong, handsome? Today, I especially brought my personal collection of high-end makeup. Come on, I guarantee I’ll make you handsome enough to knock anyone off their feet. Women will be smitten, and men will feel ashamed. What do you say?”

The effeminate David was sashaying towards Lin Zifeng, holding a bottle of glass foundation, grinning from ear to ear, enough to make Lin Zifeng burn with anger.

If they say someone has no temper or bottom line, that’s bullshit. Lin Zifeng’s weakness is that he especially hates those coquettish men who act like women.

Especially those with waists as thick as a bucket, yet still mimicking the twist of a girl’s!

”Don’t bother me!”

Lin Zifeng was already trying hard to keep his emotions in check. If this bewitching man took one more step forward, Lin was even doubting whether he could restrain himself from beating him up.

”Relax, handsome, I’m a professional.” Still that classic line, still so cringe-worthy.

Lin Zifeng slowly turned around and gave him a fierce glare, warning him not to come any closer, hoping he would take the hint and back off, understanding his reluctance.

But this damn son of a bitch had the audacity to show an enraptured expression and laughed, ”Wow! So handsome! Quite manly. But I like it.”

Damn it! If you dare come any closer, I really can’t hold back much longer, Lin Zifeng’s fingers were already starting to feel cold.

”David, what are you doing? Haven’t you done his makeup yet? He’s got to meet people tonight. Oh, right! David, make him look a bit more dandy, and create a rich, imposing look while you’re at it, the more ostentatious the better, preferably one glance and you see a total rich tycoon vibe.”

Meng Youjing was dressed fairly fashionably today, compared to the last time. Her outfit consisted of a chic white bodycon evening dress with a delicate women’s blazer on top and a simple hip-wrapping mini skirt below. However, her smooth, fair thighs were clad in white lace transparent stockings, which indeed looked quite tempting.

It’s just that this woman was way too career-driven, usually very assertive, liked to take control of everything herself. Lin Zifeng wasn’t too fond of this kind of woman.

”Don’t worry, I’m a professional. I promise you’ll be satisfied.” The makeup artist David gestured OK to the two women, then, beaming, took his makeup kit and started walking towards Lin Zifeng.

”What are you doing!”

Lin Zifeng suddenly stood up, his demeanor visibly changing. He thought the guy would get scared, but instead, he just paused briefly before pinching his fingers together and giggling, ”You look really handsome when you’re angry!”

Fuck your immortal board! Lin Zifeng was nearly unable to contain his emotions.

”What’s wrong? Why aren’t you getting makeup done?”

At that moment, Meng Youjing seemed to notice Lin Zifeng’s unusual behavior. Quickly, she crossed her arms and walked over with a frown, seeing Lin Zifeng clamping his mouth shut as if he was somewhat afraid of David, she couldn’t help but find it amusing.

He hadn’t settled the score for slapping her butt the last time, and surprisingly, he seemed all slick and smooth yet afraid of makeup?

How laughable.

But she had no idea that Lin Zifeng wasn’t scared of makeup; he felt disgusted by David’s effeminate demeanor. Just thinking about where those hands, which would be styling his hair later that night, had been made Lin Zifeng exceptionally uncomfortable.

”Hehe, Assistant Meng, can I skip the makeup? I mean, don’t I look kinda decent just as I am?” Lin Zifeng said with a face full of flattery, cozying up to Meng Youjing.

”No way! If you don’t wear makeup, how could anyone believe you’re Huahua’s boyfriend with the way you look now? Not only would it fail to deceive them, but it might even make them think we are playing them for fools. If they get angry, it could cost Huahua her gig’s fees.”

Meng Youjing didn’t care whether Lin Zifeng was willing or not, as long as it helped Huahua.

”This, this isn’t too good, right? If they like Huahua, let them chase her. If they succeed, it’s their ability. Besides, did they even say they liked Huahua? Is there a need to be so conceited? You’re overestimating yourselves!”

Lin Zifeng rolled his eyes, seemingly indifferent, and lit up a cigarette to smoke.

Why is it that every woman lately uses me as a shield? In the company, that sexy and flirty Manager Mu, and even the narcissistic Huahua at home. Could it be all the pretty girls in the world have died out? Why set your sights on you? It’s incomprehensible, and I have no clue what Meng Youjing and Huahua are thinking.

”Yeah! Sister Meng, this bad guy makes some sense, doesn’t he? Why are we so nervous? Maybe they genuinely just want to discuss the performance with me, right? Are we overthinking it?”
