Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 92: Chapter 92 How do you write the word ”awkward”?

It seemed like driving home myself was definitely out of the question, and taking a taxi was embarrassing and seemed unhygienic. So, I went downstairs to see if any of my colleagues could help me out, but after looking here and there, I ended up running into Lin Zifeng, that bastard. There was no helping it, now my face was so purple with pain that if I didn’t get home soon, that bright red thing would start to leak out.

”However, you still haven’t given me the full attendance bonus from last time, right? If I skip work again, wouldn’t that mean... hehe, you know what I’m saying,” Lin Zifeng chortled. He didn’t seem to feel any embarrassment about what he was saying—not at all!

”You!”

Nangong Bing was on her period and in so much pain that she could hardly even speak. To think this guy would still take this time to negotiate terms with her!

She didn’t know if he did it on purpose—couldn’t he tell it was a woman’s time?

”Fine! I agree!”

Nangong Bing gritted her teeth and forced out the words.

”Are you kidding me, boss? Is filling out an attendance sheet really enough to make your face turn purple? Our security guards are earning our blood, sweat, and tears here! We only get a base salary of three thousand a month, and the full attendance bonus is just a bit over a thousand. You probably spend more than that on a cup of coffee, don’t you?”

Seeing Nangong Bing gritting her teeth, her complexion growing even paler, and even feeling a bit of pity for her, Lin Zifeng was confused. Was an attendance bonus really worth being so stingy about that her face would turn green? Sigh! The thoughts and ideas of wealthy people are just different from ordinary folks. Even a few thousand yuan could make them turn pale. If all rich people were like this, then people like Lin Zifeng were truly tragic.

Lin Zifeng shook his head, his face expressing, ”Boss, you’re really stingy. So stingy.”

Looking at his face, Nangong Bing really wanted to strangle him. Even if she was completely out of money, would she haggle over such a small sum with a security guard? She was on her period, for goodness’ sake!

Did she really have to explain to this lowly security guard that it wasn’t about the money, but rather her period was the reason for her pale face?

”Fine! Consider it my loss. Whether or not you make up my attendance in the future, seeing as you’ve already brought it up, it would be poor taste for me to reject. Let’s go, boss.’

After all, he was tired from work that day, and Lin Zifeng truly felt like going home to rest.

”Can you, can you support me?” Nangong Bing clutched her lower abdomen, her complexion growing increasingly worse, almost turning white as paper.

Even beads of sweat began to appear on her forehead. When her period came, it was no easy day for a woman—the splitting, heart-wrenching pain felt as if something were being yanked out. She was suffering from severe menstrual pain!

”Support you? Can’t you walk on your own? This is the company, being seen like this would affect our reputation.”

You, you jerk! I’m not afraid, so what are you afraid of? Are you worried about your own reputation or what?

Nangong Bing fumed as she looked at him. She was in a tough spot right now. Her period wasn’t a disease, but the pain could be excruciating! Especially the intense pain that came with menstrual cramps, it was almost making Nangong Bing’s consciousness blurry.

Seeing her like this, Lin Zifeng also began to guess in his mind.

What was going on with her? Could it be, could it be that?

As a man, Lin Zifeng didn’t understand these matters concerning women. When he used to sleep with other women, it was nothing more than a release; how would he know what it was like for a woman to experience menstrual cramps?

”Are you okay?”

Moved by humanitarian impulse, Lin Zifeng stepped forward and gave her a hand.

”Where are you touching me?!” Nangong Bing was furious, feeling her chest assaulted momentarily.

”Er, sorry, I touched the wrong place.” Lin Zifeng’s face turned slightly red.

Nangong Bing lifted her chin to look at him, a glimmer of solace even flashed in her eyes.

Today, Nangong Bing was wearing a white suit tailored for professional women, a tight, exquisite little blazer on top and a thin, light gauze white skirt on the bottom. In the scorching summer heat, she remained quite conservative despite the weather.

The clothes almost completely covered her slender, alabaster legs! It was such a waste of a pair of fair and tender legs.

After passing the elevators on several floors, the two finally made it to the underground parking garage without incident, to Nangong Bing’s great relief. It would have been a huge embarrassment for her if what she feared most had happened.

However, just as she got into her sports car, she realized she could no longer hold back, and spots of bright red began to seep through the white skirt.

At this point, Nangong Bing was nearly in agony, leaning on Lin Zifeng’s shoulder, the fragrance from her body truly alluring and enchanting. However, Lin Zifeng also noticed her condition and immediately drove the sports car straight to the hospital.

”Can you go any faster?” Nangong Bing said weakly.

”Don’t worry, we’ll be at the hospital in no time,” Lin Zifeng reassured.

This lady’s timing was impeccable, choosing this moment to let nature take its course, leaving traces of crimson on the real leather seats of the sports car.

Seeing her face pale as paper, Lin Zifeng grew even more concerned.

”Just hold on a bit longer, we’re almost there.”

”If you’d talk less nonsense, I think I’d suffer a little less,” Nangong Bing said weakly, clutching her belly.

”Rest assured, my driving skills are top-notch.” Now wasn’t the time for jokes. Seeing her complexion worsen, Lin Zifeng steeled himself and floored the accelerator, racing towards the hospital—

Upon arrival at the hospital, Nangong Bing was in so much pain she was nearly losing consciousness. It is said that when a woman experiences severe menstrual pain, she must not endure it and should immediately go to the hospital. However, Nangong Bing had insisted on toughing it out, combined with being too busy to remember breakfast and consuming various coffees at the office. Drinking coffee excessively under such circumstances would be too much to handle even for very resilient people.

For women during their menstrual cycles, if they have long-term poor dietary habits and improper care, the onset of dysmenorrhea will worsen their condition.

Serious cases may even lead to immediate unconsciousness!

Luckily, Lin Zifeng had brought her to the hospital just in time. A morning of simple IV drips helped quite rapidly. After all, although menstrual pain is temporary, if one does not take good care of oneself, it could leave lasting hidden health issues.

This kind of women’s illness is frightening, similar to issues arising post-childbirth. If mishandled during one’s period or if carelessly managed, it can negatively impact one’s health later in life, leaving a variety of chronic conditions.

Many women suffer from all sorts of minor illnesses nowadays. While not severe, most can hardly be free from medication year-round. Such chronic illnesses are difficult to cure.
