The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Chapter 181: Chapter 5: Treasure on the Palm, Pig

When Tianmiao, Kong Hou, and Dong Xiao arrived in this world, Tianmiao was a bit puzzled.

Because this is a small world, but there actually is a thin layer of Spiritual Energy here.

Moreover, the destined one this time is not human, but a pig.

In the store that houses everything, Tianmiao was eating the egg tart baked by Dong Xiao, feeling very satisfied. The egg tart’s texture was fragrant, smooth, and tender! As expected of Dong Xiao, it seems his culinary skills have improved. It seems he picked up a thing or two from the Great Hero Wang, the owner of the pastry shop in the last world.

Kong Hou was also eating, one after another, enjoying it immensely. While eating, he watched the Heavenly Mechanism Mirror and laughed, ”Ah haha, Dong Xiao, look at this pig, it’s so interesting.”

”A bit mutated, not quite a demon yet. But gaining intelligence is only a matter of time,” Dong Xiao glanced at the hairy pig in the Heavenly Mechanism Mirror and said.

”What wish would a pig make?” Kong Hou thought while chewing on an egg tart, blinking his eyes, ”To become the most powerful monster, capable of defeating all?”

”Cultivating to become human?” Dong Xiao speculated.

Tianmiao picked up another egg tart and said leisurely, ”Stop guessing. Won’t we know when it runs into our store?”

...

Yan Zhengya and the piglet began a leisurely life. Yan Zhengya, aside from occasionally taking on a job to exorcise demons, spent the rest of the time staying at home, eating and drinking, sometimes growing vegetables and raising chickens. The piglet followed Yan Zhengya around every day, inseparable, even when Yan Zhengya went to the toilet, it had to use its snout to nudge open the toilet door and squeeze in. It was very clingy to Yan Zhengya.

Yan Zhengya discovered that this little black pig was very smart, and very clean too!

Every morning, it wakes him up on time, wanting him to wash its face and hooves. After meals, it wants him to wipe its mouth and snout. Although it was a bit troublesome, Yan Zhengya grew increasingly fond of this little pig. With its company, Yan Zhengya found his days not so dull and boring.

Sometimes Yan Zhengya felt that the piglet was not like a wild boar at all. Those wild boars love rolling in mud pits and rooting the ground, but not the piglet. It is very lazy and loves to bask in the sun, eat, sleep, and step on Yan Zhengya’s face.

Once, Yan Zhengya took the piglet on a demon-hunting trip, they passed by a mud pit where a group of wild boars were rolling around. Yan Zhengya clearly heard the piglet in his arms snort disdainfully, a sound full of contempt and scorn.

”You were just sneering at them, weren’t you? Weren’t you? I didn’t hear wrong. Are you really a pig?” Yan Zhengya picked up the piglet, holding it over his head, suspiciously examining it from head to toe.

The piglet wriggled its pink snout and sneezed, spraying pig snot all over Yan Zhengya’s face.

Yan Zhengya: ”...” Okay, I got it, you are indeed a pig, a cheeky little stinky pig!

But I can’t bear to hit it, so what can I do? I’ll just wipe the pig spit off my face and tuck it back into my arms to continue on the road.

In the following days, Yan Zhengya was even more certain that this pig was very clever. It seemed to understand what he said.

And it’s too good at eating...

After raising it for a month, Yan Zhengya discovered a serious problem.

The piglet ate too much. Initially, it only ate half his portion, then slowly it ate as much as him, and finally, it ate more than he did.

Fine, you eat, but grow, will you!

The problem is, the piglet only grew to fit in Yan Zhengya’s two palms and then stopped growing. It spent the whole day snoring in Yan Zhengya’s hands, circling and not growing at all.
