Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1370: Chapter 1369: Victory Without Fighting

Sheng Yiweng himself comes from a background in Medical Psychology, so he should be quite familiar with this sort of thing.

However, he hasn’t made such associations.

Gu Tong explained: ”The idea behind my psychological suggestion is simple. First, I create a psychological threat by having Sheng Yiweng fixate on the target, and then, through cooperation with Sheng Yiweng, I construct an illusion of invincibility, ultimately defeating each opponent one by one.”

This is what’s known as trainee psychology; when morale scatters, the battle is lost.

The method used by Gu Tong is just that simple.

All the students were a bit stunned as they listened. They only felt that Gu Tong’s explanation was simply extraordinary, somewhat unbelievable.

However...

Just now, Teacher Gu Tong won in exactly this way; the practical example was right there, and they couldn’t deny it.

Huang Chengyi widened his eyes and said, ”Can we really be defeated like that? Isn’t it a bit far-fetched...”

He voiced what everyone was thinking. Of course, this time it wasn’t confrontational but a genuine quest for understanding.

Gu Tong curled her lips and said, ”I admit this method of victory has a low probability of success; any slight mistake could lead to failure. However, I was lucky, and the facts prove that I won like this.”

Sheng Yiweng quickly stepped forward with some excitement and said, ”Teacher won through observation. Teacher had me start with two shots, assessing the opponent’s strengths. After weighing them, he informed me to target the strong players so that without direct attacks, the team would crumble.”

Exactly!

That’s precisely the rationale.

Gu Tong’s strategy was to first attack the three good basketball players. The other members of the team undoubtedly knew their basketball skills.

Seeing them defeated, the remaining team members naturally lost confidence. At this point, their morale completely collapsed.

Breaking through one by one wasn’t so difficult.

Hu Bichao frowned and said again, ”But how can you be sure we would definitely be defeated? If we persist, wouldn’t your plan fail?”

Gu Tong curled her lips and said: ”That’s why I used distraction methods. I was the one giving orders, while Sheng Yiweng intercepted, like the relationship between the brain and the body. Any intelligent person would pay attention to the brain’s thinking rather than the body’s actions.”

That’s right.

Everyone suddenly realized.

On the court earlier, they only noticed Sheng Yiweng’s aggression but also focused on Gu Tong’s every action.

Because they believed the real threat was Gu Tong, they were distracted by her, failing to pay attention to Sheng Yiweng, the opponent intercepting them.

Gu Tong’s lips moved slightly and said: ”Of course, there’s also one more thing, which is the most important point—the use of psychological suggestion from Medical Psychology, which is also a kind of command.”

After finishing speaking, she subconsciously snapped her fingers twice.

’Snap--’

’Snap snap--’

Sparse applause and thigh slapping sounds followed.

The students who clapped looked a bit stupefied, while those who didn’t quickly made up for it, bewildered.

Gu Tong smiled faintly and said: ”The finger snapping was a suggestion, conveying the command to clap; similarly, Sheng Yiweng’s gaze and my command are forms of suggestion. Through suggestion, I scattered your attention, creating an illusion, with the purpose of slowing your actions. As your speed decreased, you were not as strong as initially, which is akin to Victory Without Fighting.”
