Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1358: Chapter 1357: When It Comes to Being Underhanded, Teacher Gu Tong Takes the Lead

Hu Bichao wanted to charge straight at the hoop, his eyes locked tightly on Gu Tong under the basket, not daring to slow his movements at all. However, right at that moment, his eyes widened in utter disbelief.

Because...

Gu Tong actually sat down.

Gu Tong lazily let out a yawn and slowly sat down underneath her own basket. From this position, there was no way she could intercept or steal the ball.

This didn’t look like a basketball game at all, it was more like letting everything go free.

Had she given up?

That made no sense either. If she’d given up, she might as well just surrender. There was no need to keep this stalemate going, and the name of the Elective Class would only get worse.

Hu Bichao’s mind went off on a wild tangent, and he didn’t even notice that the basketball in his hands had already been snatched away by Sheng Yiweng.

Sheng Yiweng took the ball and, without a word, tossed it to Gu Tong behind him.

Gu Tong sprang to her feet and caught the ball in one motion. Her body leapt, shot released!

This...

The students of Medical Class 2 were dumbfounded: ”...”

Everyone in the Elective Class had their mouths twitching: ”...”

Lin Wenjue and Jiang Lihao were stupefied: ”...”

Distract, steal, shoot.

Damn...

In terms of dirty tricks, Gu Tong was clearly on another level. This move was downright unexpected!

Compared to this, that ”eight people dribbling” tactic was nothing but child’s play.

Seeing the ball go in, Sheng Yiweng’s lips tugged into a grin. But then he remembered Teacher Gu Tong’s instructions and hurriedly wiped the smile off his face.

The eight players of Medical Class 2 stiffly turned their heads back and once again faced the two people on the opposite side of the court.

They almost coughed up blood. They weren’t even taking the free points handed to them, they just had to use such cheap tricks to steal scores—unbelievable.

Huang Chengyi coughed and said, ”Chaozi, focus for real in a bit, okay? No matter what weird stuff happens, don’t zone out.”

”Yeah, Chaozi, losing points like that is way too embarrassing.”

”Chaozi, come on, you’ve got this.”

”...” Hu Bichao could only laugh and cry. ”Alright, I’ll definitely stay sharp.”

Back into the battle.

This time the Elective Class served first.

According to the plan, Gu Tong should’ve taken the shot directly. However, she didn’t.

Instead, she once again handed the initiative over to Sheng Yiweng.

Holding the ball, Sheng Yiweng stood in the middle of the court, his eyes brimming with killing intent as he stared fixedly at Hu Bichao.

Being stared at like that gave Hu Bichao the creeps. He swallowed and thought to himself, What the hell is this guy trying to do?

At that moment, Sheng Yiweng made his move. This time, he didn’t throw the ball at the basket, but directly tossed it into Hu Bichao’s hands.

Throwing it to the opponent...

The crowd was once again stunned into statues, even more confused about this teacher-student duo’s tactics.

Hu Bichao was still fired up, reminding himself to ignore their tricks. With that thought, he slapped the ball hard and charged toward the basket again.

Same timing, same spot, and Gu Tong sat down again.

Hu Bichao let out a cold laugh. This time, there was no way she’d stop him!

He let the ball fly, passing it toward the classmate in jersey number five.

However, just before that, Gu Tong spoke up first: ”Three o’clock!”

’Whoosh--’

Sheng Yiweng’s body moved, cutting directly into the passing lane and snatching the ball first.

His eyes were locked on Hu Bichao, and a terrifying cold smile crept up his lips.

’Bang--’

He once again passed the ball back to Hu Bichao.

Everyone’s eyes went wide as they stared at Gu Tong in disbelief. How did she know where Hu Bichao was going to pass?

This...

How was this even possible...
