Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1356: Chapter 1355: He’s Afraid to Go Over, Fearing a Beating

Who could have thought that the Second Internal Medicine Class would be this shameless? It’s already an extremely unfair basketball match, and they even use this kind of strategy, which is basically indiscriminate suppression.

Furthermore, the speed at which the basketball moves is so fast that ordinary people simply cannot catch up, indicating that they don’t want to give the teacher a chance to win.

The conversation in the Elective Class finally became normal.

However, Teacher Lin Wenjue and Teacher Jiang Lihao didn’t feel happy at all. Instead, they hoped that the Elective Class would absurdly praise Teacher Gu Tong.

At least, that would show that the situation isn’t too bad.

...

’Boom boom—’ Hu Bichao dribbled the ball to the basket.

’Bang—’ The basketball went into the basket.

Gu Tong stood not far from the group of eight, her brow slightly furrowed, seemingly thinking deeply.

The eight have already begun their cooperative battle, indeed proving that the situation has become very unfavorable.

Originally, dealing with fewer people against more people is a tough game, only two against eight can increase the chances of winning. Now Sheng Yiweng is a mess, and the Second Internal Medicine Class is fully cooperating, it seems very difficult to find a breakthrough.

Gu Tong’s gaze fell on the eight people from the Second Internal Medicine Class, she did not want to just give up like this.

These eight, clearly none are sports stars, untrained, lacking harmony in their cooperation, not truly in sync. However, their cooperation is accurate and has a so-called reason, which is relying on slogans for support.

Because the opponent only has one person, and Sheng Yiweng is just a deaf man on the sidelines, they don’t have to fear the other party knowing their purpose. Even though Gu Tong’s speed is very fast, she cannot catch up to the basketball, so they were unscrupulous.

Of course, not being sports stars is one objective factor, but there’s also a hidden flaw: they must pass the ball to someone better at basketball.

One of them is Hu Bichao, and in an instant the ball has fallen into his hands no less than three times.

The other one is a student wearing a white number five sports shirt, whose likelihood of receiving the ball is slightly less, about twice.

The eight passing, one receiving three times, the other twice, is enough to see the problem within.

Gu Tong’s brow furrowed tighter. She raised her hand, made a stopping gesture, halting the opponent’s prepared game-start, saying: ”Wait a moment!”

Wait a moment...

Huang Chengyi was just about to hit the ball when he almost stumbled, looking up surprised, he asked: ”Teacher, what’s wrong?”

There was a hint of hope in his eyes, entirely giving off the feeling that Teacher Gu Tong was preparing to give up the match.

If...

This basketball game could be stopped at halftime.

Then, they wouldn’t have to bear the discussions of victory and defeat.

Conversely, it would achieve their intended goal, perfectly helping Teacher Ding Sidan regain face.

Gu Tong said calmly: ”Give me three minutes, I want to say a couple of words to Sheng Yiweng.”

Is this to discuss a strategy?

Everyone present thought at the same time.

Which makes sense, the strategy used by the eight from the Second Internal Medicine Class is highly responsive, even a basketball expert couldn’t intercept it.

Huang Chengyi didn’t hear words to stop the match, which left him somewhat disappointed, yet he still appeared generous and said: ”We can wait for several minutes.”

At this moment, it’s important to appear gracious; it can help regain some impression points.

Gu Tong nodded lightly without much speech, her eyes fell coldly on Sheng Yiweng, then beckoned with her finger.

Sheng Yiweng swallowed some saliva, instinctively refused, saying: ”...” He didn’t dare to go over, afraid of getting beaten up, his heart was filled with fear, how can this be resolved?
