Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1366: Chapter 1365: Victory Study, Not Success Study

The Internal Medicine Class Two is the elite class where the students consistently achieve excellent grades. They form a collective of integrated elites who are highly focused on victory and scores, treating them as a kind of obsession.

Just like their main instructor, Ding Sidan, often says, ’Victory and high scores are the true symbols of elites; everything else amounts to zero.’

Her words carry both truths and falsehoods; while broadly correct, they simultaneously undermine everyone, inherently denying all failures.

This is a study of victory, a study of scores, but it’s not a study of success.

...

Lin Wenjue quickly stepped forward, rushing over to defuse the situation. He said, ”You all did very well. Gu Tong is so skilled; not just you, even if I played, I’d definitely lose. Besides, there’s a saying: winning and losing are common for trainees. This is just a ball game; you’ve hung in there for so long, that’s already fantastic!”

He wants to encourage these students and focus on their mental well-being.

Although he’s not as strong as Gu Tong, he can still show care for his students and fulfill the responsibilities of a teacher in this way.

Not bad at all...

But still lost.

Even though the eight of them had been thinking about surrendering, when failure truly arrived, it was still hard to endure because their hearts were only set on victory, without consideration for failure.

Xu Chuanchuan bowed his head in despair, saying, ”We know Gu Tong is formidable, but it’s also due to our effort being insufficient, and we ultimately still lost...”

Lost means lost.

There is nothing to justify.

This is their responsibility, and they have no intention of shirking it.

The desire for progress is good, but it shouldn’t be too extreme, as these negative emotions are extremely detrimental to the students’ mind and body.

Lin Wenjue was somewhat troubled and instinctively looked to Gu Tong for help, hoping she would come over and say a few words.

His gaze was fervent, and even though Gu Tong hadn’t noticed, Sheng Yiweng in the distance already had. He lightly patted Gu Tong’s shoulder and pointed to the position of the Internal Medicine Class Two, as a reminder.

Gu Tong raised her eyebrows, her voice calm, ”How much class time is left?”

This question was directed at Lin Wenjue.

”Ah...” Lin Wenjue was slightly taken aback and instinctively glanced at the watch on his wrist, ”There’s still ten minutes.”

Ten minutes, that’s enough.

Gu Tong moved her red lips slightly and said, ”We agreed that I’d cover this class for Lin, so we must see it through to the end. With ten minutes left, after the practical class, let’s move on to the theoretical class.”

Her words left everyone present somewhat puzzled.

They did not understand the difference between the practical and theoretical classes.

However...

The Internal Medicine Class Two now didn’t seem as rebellious as in the beginning. They were like tamed little lambs, obedient beyond measure, appearing as though Gu Tong’s words were absolute.

Not far away.

Lin Wenjue: ”...” The practical class was already intimidating, and now there’s going to be theory?

Jiang Lihao: ”...” There’s time to give other classes theory; could she possibly refrain from dumping our class theory on the assistant teachers?

Gu Tong ignored their thoughts and strode back to the Elective Class position.

Now, the Elective Class students were like they were on a high; they were in a state of excitement.

Gu Tong glanced at them, calmly saying, ”Are the instruments all pieced together yet?”

The Elective Class students, who were just about to cheer, swallowed their words one by one and looked at the table with the instruments already in disorder.

In their hearts, they silently cursed, it’s going south...
