I Can Devour Monsters' SSS Talents

Lian did not remove the World-Devourer Bastion from his body.

After what he had seen just a few minutes ago, there was no guarantee that the next enemy would be weaker, and he had no reason to put the armor on again in the middle of a sudden attack.

However, he did not slow down, the goal of the First Stage was now clear to him.

The test did not want to count the number of corpses, it wanted to see how far you could go.

And a few minutes later, three wolf-like creatures appeared in one of the narrow rocky paths.

[Level: 27.]

[Level: 28.]

[Level: 29.]

Lian did not even stop, the first one jumped and his armored fist hit the creature’s face and smashed it into the wall like a piece of stone.

The second one attacked from the right.

Frost Dominion.

Ice formed around its legs and connected all four of its limbs to the ground for a moment.

Then the ice covered the rest of them too, and before they could even realize it, all three wolves were completely frozen.

And it did not take long for the ice to break and all three monsters were killed.

He continued along his path without even looking at them, and at the same time he noticed something, it seemed that not all the monsters were supposed to become as powerful as that stone knight.

That was not bad news either, he did not think he could handle more than two of them at the same time.

A little further ahead, a gap of almost forty meters cut across the path, but it was not enough to stop him.

Frost Dominion.

Ice came out from the edge of the cliff and formed a narrow, curved path directly in front of his steps.

He ran across it.

Every few meters, a new part of the ice was created in front of him, and the part behind him cracked a few seconds later and fell into the sea of black clouds.

Lightning flashed under the temporary bridge, and Lian reached the other side without even looking down once.

An ability that he had only started to understand less than an hour ago had now almost become like a natural extension of his body.

The test was adapting to Lian, but Lian was also adapting to the test.

[First Stage remaining time: 3 minutes.]

He slowed down for a moment, the central upside-down mountain now looked much larger.

The golden crown was still shining at its highest point, and even though several islands were between him and it, it was clear that the distance between them was much shorter than it had been at the beginning of the test.

In the distance, on another island, several small human figures could be seen, they were the first students he had seen since the beginning of the test.

He only gave them a short glance and turned his attention back to the notification.

The end of the First Stage? He expected the only goal to be reaching the upside-down mountain and obtaining the crown, but it seemed the test had more parts than it appeared to have.

In any case, he did not stop and continued along his path, he did not know what would happen at the end of the First Stage, but he preferred to get closer to the upside-down mountain.

[Remaining time: 1 minute.]

A few seconds later, mana gathered in front of his path again.

A large creature with six legs, a black body, and two long horns appeared.

[Simulated Monster.]

[Level: 30.]

[Rank: Normal.]

It seemed the test was still trying to cause extra trouble for him.

The monster lowered its head and Lian continued moving, the creature roared and ran toward him at high speed.

Frost Dominion.

Ice rose from the ground and wrapped around its two front legs.

CRACK!

The monster immediately broke the ice, but then dozens of ice blades appeared from nowhere and tore it apart.

Like the previous ones, he ignored this one too and after only making sure it was dead, he continued along his path.

The closer he got to the upside-down mountain, the more islands appeared in his sight, and he could see more students on them.

Some were trying to go toward the crown like him, while others were hunting monsters.

A countdown appeared.

[10]

Lian climbed up the rocky slope.

[9]

[8]

The wind around him became stronger.

[7]

[6]

He reached the highest part of the rock.

[5]

A large part of the Broken Crown appeared before his eyes.

[4]

Dozens of islands at different heights.

[3]

[2]

[1]

The entire realm shook and he stopped at that exact moment, a deep sound came from a very far distance.

At first it sounded like thunder, but it continued.

GRRRRRRRRRRR...

The ground under his feet moved, it was a real movement, the island had started to move.

[First Stage ended.]

The huge sound of rocks scraping against each other spread across the entire sky.

Young Vorhelm moved closer to the edge of the high ground, what he saw in front of him made even him stay completely silent for a few seconds.

The islands were moving, not just a few islands, all of them were moving.

Rock masses several kilometers wide were moving through the sky, some were going up, some were coming down, and some were slowly being pulled toward each other.

The black clouds below them became chaotic.

Lightning flashed one after another deep inside the clouds, and its roar mixed with the sound of the moving islands.

Chains as thick as towers came out from the sides of several islands.

BOOOOOOM!

One of the chains hit the wall of another island and sank into the stone.

Pieces of broken bridges came out from between the rocks and moved across the empty space.

The stones locked together one after another, and paths that had not existed a few seconds ago were forming before Lian’s eyes.

Two islands far away even directly crashed into each other.

BOOOOOOOM!

The shockwave from the collision could be felt even from several kilometers away.

Part of the rocks around them broke and thousands of tons of stone fell into the black clouds, and a huge panel appeared in front of the sky.

[Second Stage has begun.]

[Convergence.]

[All remaining participants will now be connected to each other.]

[The Royal Seals will soon activate.]

Lian ran his hand over the edge of one of the World-Devourer Bastion’s plates and looked around.

The individual stage was over, on an island that was slowly moving closer to his area, three human figures could be seen.

A few seconds later, two more people came out from behind a rock.

Five people.

On another island, more people could be seen.

And in the farther distances, human figures were appearing one after another as they moved closer to each other.

Groups were forming again.

Lian did not need to think much to understand who would benefit the most from such a rule.

Rodrick.

The initial spread had removed his biggest advantage, but now the people in his group could find each other again.

Ten people.

Twenty people.

Maybe even more.

The sound of the last piece of the stone bridge locking into place in front of him rang out.

Click!

He calmly looked at the newly formed path.

”So the crowded part starts now.”

At that exact moment, BOOOOOOM!

A huge pillar of red light shot into the sky in the distance.

Lian raised his head.

The second pillar, blue.

Third, white.

Fourth, purple.

And finally, the fifth pillar, golden in color, rose from an island near the central mountain and broke through the thick layer of gray clouds.

Five pillars of light were shining in five locations, and a new panel appeared in front of all the participants.

[The Five Royal Seals have awakened.]

[Strength Seal.]

[Spirit Seal.]

[Speed Seal.]

[Resistance Seal.]

[Mana Seal.]

[To open the Crown Path, at least three Royal Seals must reach the central gate.]

[To obtain the Seals, defeat their guardians.]

Lian’s eyes moved between the five pillars, one of them was not very far from his current location.

White light, the Resistance Seal.

A calm smile on his face became a little deeper.

A Level 30 Fallen had managed to force him to bring out the World-Devourer Bastion.

So what would the guardian of one of the Five Royal Seals be?

But he was still curious to know the exact reason behind the name of each Seal, although a guess came to his mind.

”Could it be...?”

The First Stage had only been a warm-up, now the real competition had begun.
