I Can Devour Monsters' SSS Talents

Lian started looking at his panel from the top and decided to check all the changes step by step.

The Class had not changed and was still Monster, his Race was still Human, but all three of his main Talents had changed.

Dormant Monster was no longer there, Heir of Winter had been upgraded, and Mother of Colony had also turned into something different.

He opened the first Talent, which was his most important Talent.

[Fallen Monster]

[Evolutionary Talent.]

[All Normal Monsters are subject to the holder’s racial superiority.]

[Overall combat capability of Normal Monsters is suppressed by up to 20% in the holder’s presence.]

[Suppression ignores level difference.]

Lian raised an eyebrow, this part was very important, if a Normal Monster was ten levels higher than him, it would still be affected.

Twenty levels? The suppression would still work.

As long as it was in the ”Normal” tier, the level difference could not remove his racial superiority.

If his guess was correct, true Fallen Monsters should also have this ability, so could this be one of the reasons for their superiority over Normal Monsters?

[Normal Monsters instinctively recognize the holder as a greater existence.]

[Instinctive fear will be induced.]

[Targets will attempt to avoid direct confrontation whenever possible.]

This alone could completely change the way he moved through the Ruined Realm, many weaker Monsters might not even be willing to approach him.

But the explanations were not finished.

[Fallen Monster muscular structure acquired.]

[Muscle density and contraction efficiency greatly increased.]

[Skeletal density increased.]

[Joint and connective tissue durability increased.]

[Monster Core formation unlocked.]

[The holder can observe the level of any Monster regardless of level difference.]

He opened the second Talent.

[Child of Frost has evolved.]

[New Talent: Heir of Winter.]

[Rank: A.]

He looked at the ice on the floor, so the reason for that reaction was clear and it was related to his evolved Talent.

[Frost affinity: +80%.]

[Learning and utilization efficiency of Frost-based elements: +80%.]

[The holder will not perceive natural or supernatural cold below an extremely high threshold.]

[Ice-aligned Monsters are suppressed by up to 30% against the holder.]

[In frozen environments, offensive Frost skills power increases by up to 10%.]

[Mana consumption of all Frost-based abilities reduced by 30%.]

He stared at the messages for several seconds, eighty percent higher Frost affinity, thirty percent lower Mana consumption, thirty percent suppression against Ice Monsters and increased power in cold environments.

This was not just a numerical increase, from now on, every Frost skill he obtained would be much more valuable to him.

One of his main skills, Glacial Reaper Claw, was also a Frost skill and now with the help of his Talent it would become even stronger and more useful than before.

The satisfaction in his eyes was obvious.

Then the third Talent.

[Mother of Colony has evolved.]

[New Talent: Colony Sovereign.]

[Rank: S.]

He read this one more carefully.

[Maximum Colony Members: 100.]

[Maximum Special Members: 5.]

The number one hundred alone was a huge increase but the next part was even more interesting.

[Special Members can temporarily borrow a portion of the Sovereign’s power during emergencies.]

[Maximum borrowed power: 30% of the Sovereign’s current power.]

[Borrowed power is temporary.]

[Transfer requires direct authorization or a preconfigured emergency condition.]

Lian could not help but think of One, if One became a Special Member, in a dangerous situation he could receive thirty percent of Lian’s current power as a temporary boost.

And as Lian continued to grow, this thirty percent would also become greater.

Five Special Members and one hundred Colony Members.

This Talent was no longer simply designed to connect him with a companion creature, it could become the foundation of a real force.

After finishing the Talents, his eyes moved toward the Innate Skills, these were the abilities that formed the main foundation of his power and the main reason for his growth.

[Glutton has evolved.]

[Glutton → Greater Glutton.]

[Activation probability after killing a Monster has increased.]

[Skill extraction remains more likely than Talent extraction.]

[When Skill extraction activates, up to three extractable Skills from the target will be displayed.]

[The holder may choose one Skill.]

[Extraction activation remains probability-based.]

[The holder cannot force activation on every kill.]

The corner of Lian’s mouth rose, this change was really good, before, if Glutton activated, he did not have much choice over what he received.

Now if a Monster had several Skills, the system would give him up to three options and he could choose one himself.

Of course, Glutton still had to activate first and there was no guarantee, and the chance of getting a Talent was still lower than getting a Skill.

Because of this, the ability was still not completely controllable.

But even with this weakness, he was still satisfied.

[Bloodlust has evolved.]

[Bloodlust → Greater Bloodlust.]

[Experience gained from killed Monsters: 150%.]

[If the target is at least 10 levels above the holder: 200% Experience.]

”The more dangerous, the better.” Lian whispered with satisfaction, this rule fit perfectly with the way he had grown until now.

He had never gained much from Monsters at his own level or weaker Monsters and had always been forced to go after stronger Monsters.

And now because of his crazy way of doing things, he could get even greater rewards.

Of course, a difference of ten levels or more was still not small.

Then the next notification appeared.

[Butcher has evolved.]

[Butcher → Greater Butcher.]

This time he sat completely straight and paid even more attention, this Innate Skill was his most important source of stat growth and was considered his most important ability until now.

[After killing a Normal Monster, up to 5% of the target’s absorbable Stats can be transferred to the holder.]

For a moment, he only looked at the number.

Five percent!

Before, it had been one percent and now it had become five times higher, with that one percent he had managed to create a huge gap between himself and the Awakened of his age.

And now five percent?

His thoughts returned to the ten thousand stat limit, reaching that number and even going beyond it no longer seemed unreasonable.

However, the System was still not finished.

[Special Rule: Fallen Monsters.]

[When a Fallen Monster is killed completely solo, up to 20% of its absorbable Stats may be transferred.]

[Activation is probability-based.]

[Activation probability rises as the target’s level approaches or exceeds the holder’s level.]

Lian slowly breathed out, he could obtain twenty percent of the Stats of a Fallen Monster but unfortunately it was ”probability-based” and required him to kill it alone.

Then the final section appeared.

[Superior Monster Hunt Rule.]

[Unholy.]

[Demon.]

[Supreme.]

[When a target from one of the above tiers is defeated completely solo, up to 100% of its absorbable Stats may be transferred.]

[Requirement: No other entity may directly contribute to defeating the target.]

[All transferred Stats remain subject to the current Evolution Stat Limit.]

He said nothing for several seconds.

One hundred percent.

If he completely defeated an Unholy, Demon or Supreme Monster alone, he could obtain all of its absorbable Stats.

Of course, the final condition prevented the System from becoming completely crazy, the ten thousand limit still existed and he could not suddenly gain hundreds of thousands of points by killing one strange creature.

”Well...” Lian stared at the panel for several seconds and his smile became wider, he was very satisfied with the evolution of Glutton.

[Ice Resistance removed.]

[Ice Control removed.]

[Both abilities have evolved and merged.]

[New Innate Skill acquired.]

[Frost Dominion]

[Extremely high resistance against natural and magical cold.]

[Control over existing ice within a maximum radius of 10 kilometers.]

[Actual control range depends on Spirit, Mana, and power difference.]

[The holder can create ice from nothing by consuming Mana.]

[The holder can alter the shape, density, and structure of controlled ice.]

[Enemy-created ice can be seized if the holder possesses sufficient superiority in Spirit or Strength.]

He calmly looked at the ice on the floor and simply willed it, suddenly a line of ice rose from the ground.

It wrapped around the leg of the chair like a thin snake and then turned into a clear blade.

Lian moved his finger and the blade immediately changed shape and turned into dozens of small needles.

He had not activated any separate Skill to create them.

Just simple control.

”Ten kilometers...”

Of course, the actual range in a fight would probably depend on the situation, but even a small part of ten kilometers was still a huge number.

And more importantly, Skills like Eternal Frozen Apocalypse and Glacial Reaper Claw would now be under a much more powerful Frost Talent.

And another important upgrade was that before, he could not create ice from nothing and had to be in an icy environment, but that weakness no longer existed.

[Hive Link has evolved.]

[New Innate Skill acquired.]

[Hive Dominion]

This time he immediately became serious again, because this Innate Skill was very important and might help him summon One.

[Members within the same world can sense one another within 100 kilometers.]

[Direct Command unlocked.]

[Colony House unlocked.]

[You can place all members of your Colony inside a dimensional space, similar to a Storage Space.]

[You can summon all Colony Members that are inside the Colony House.]

[Special Member Summoning unlocked.]

His eyes stayed on the final line... finally.

[Special Member Summoning can bypass inter-world distance.]

[Summoning cost is calculated based on distance between worlds and destination resistance.]

[Target must be registered as a Special Member.]

He was silent for a few moments, One was alive and now he could bring him back, and he needed to check the cost and conditions.

But the path was open and he no longer needed to worry about the first member of his Colony.

[Natural Colony Hierarchy:]

[Sovereign]

[Queen]

[Commander]

[Worker]

[Authority Classification:]

[Special Member]

[Normal Member]

He quickly understood the difference, the first ranking was based on the natural structure and power of the Colony creatures.

A Queen, Commander or Worker, each of them ranked based on their power.

But the second ranking was something Lian himself decided.

A Colony Member could naturally be a Commander and at the same time be registered as a Normal Member.

Or it could also be only a Worker but be registered as a Special Member and receive the benefits of being a Special Member.

Then his eyes fell on the final Innate Skill.

[True Sequence]

Its name had not changed and at first he thought that maybe it had not evolved at all.

But then he opened the explanation and realized that he was wrong.
