The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 87: Chapter 87: Cheng Yuan’s Caliber

Wu Dunmao was completely dumbfounded, thrown for a loop by Huang Qun.

’What is going on?’

Huang Qun was the one who told him to expel Cheng Qianqian, so why was he the first to jump up and object?

”Director Huang, just now...”

Huang Qun cut Wu Dunmao off rudely. ”Director Wu, did you mishear me just now? I told you to get my son’s school records. Why are you grabbing Cheng Qianqian’s records?”

Huh?

Wu Dunmao felt like his brain was short-circuiting. He didn’t dare ask, so he could only say sheepishly, ”Perhaps I misheard?”

”Yes, you must have misheard. What I said was, my son has been disturbing his classmate Cheng Qianqian’s studies, and I want to transfer him to Sixth Middle School. Hurry up and get my son’s school records!”

”Ah? Oh!”

Only then did it start to sink in for Wu Dunmao. So Director Huang had picked a fight with the wrong person!

’Director Huang can’t even afford to offend them. What kind of background does Cheng Qianqian have?’

At this thought, Wu Dunmao’s heart sank. Director Huang had really screwed him over this time!

Wu Dunmao quickly apologized to Cheng Yuan. ”Mr. Cheng, that was my mistake just now. I grabbed the wrong records and gave you a scare. I sincerely apologize!”

Unfortunately for him, Cheng Yuan didn’t even bother to look at Wu Dunmao. He turned to Zhang Jing with a smile. ”Teacher Zhang, thank you for taking care of Qianqian all this time.”

”Qianqian is my student. It’s my duty to look after her.”

Cheng Yuan turned to Shen Manwen. ”Manwen, there aren’t many good, responsible teachers like Teacher Zhang these days. I think we should give her some more responsibilities. As for those with no professional ethics who only know how to cozy up to the powerful, they should be purged from the teaching staff. Don’t you agree?”

Shen Manwen nodded lightly. ”Brother Cheng is right.”

With that, Shen Manwen took out her phone and made a call. ”Uncle Jiang, the Director of Teaching at First Middle School, Wu Dunmao, has extremely poor professional ethics. I recommend he be suspended pending investigation! Also, the homeroom teacher of Class One, Zhang Jing, has excellent ethics and has achieved outstanding results. I recommend she be given an important position!”

Instantly, everyone looked at Wu Dunmao with pity. They all knew he was finished, completely finished.

Wu Dunmao’s face went deathly pale. He started apologizing and begging for mercy, but unfortunately for him, Cheng Yuan had no intention of giving him the chance.

’If I were still in prison, if I didn’t know Shen Manwen, this Director Wu definitely wouldn’t have passed up the chance to suck up to Huang Qun. He would have certainly expelled Qianqian!’

Less than two minutes after Shen Manwen hung up, Wu Dunmao’s phone rang. He pulled it out, and one look at the screen made his face drain of all color.

It was a call from the vice principal in charge of personnel!

Wu Dunmao answered the call, his voice trembling. ”Principal Chen, what can I do for you?”

”Wu Dunmao, as of today, you are suspended. Go home and rest. As for when you’ll be back to work... wait for further notice!”

With that, the other party hung up directly.

Wu Dunmao left, utterly dejected. No one cared.

Zhang Jing didn’t know Shen Manwen’s background. When Shen Manwen was on the phone, Zhang Jing just assumed she was trying to scare Wu Dunmao.

But after Wu Dunmao took that call, all his Essence, Qi, and Spirit seemed to vanish in an instant. This made Zhang Jing see a sliver of possibility.

’Could it be...’

BEEP BEEP...

Zhang Jing’s phone rang. She pulled it out, and when she saw who was calling, she trembled slightly with excitement. It was Vice Principal Chen!

”Principal Chen, is there something you need?”

”Teacher Zhang, after a joint decision by the Luocheng Education Bureau and the leadership of First Middle School, we are promoting you to Director of Teaching at First Middle, while concurrently serving as the homeroom teacher for Class One. Is that acceptable?”

Even though she had already suspected it, hearing Vice Principal Chen’s words still made Zhang Jing tremble with excitement!

”I will follow all of leadership’s arrangements!”

”Keep up the good work. You have a bright future.”

With a word of encouragement, Vice Principal Chen hung up.

Zhang Jing turned her head and took a deep look at Cheng Yuan and Shen Manwen. She had just realized that her class contained such a powerhouse—someone who could get Wu Dunmao fired with a single sentence and make her the Director of Teaching with another!

’What astonishing power!’

At this moment, Zhang Jing was extremely grateful. Thankfully, she hadn’t just gone with the flow. She had stuck to her principles and done her best to protect Cheng Qianqian. Otherwise, her fate would have been no better than Wu Dunmao’s.

Zhang Jing gave a deep bow to Cheng Yuan and Shen Manwen. ”Thank you, Mr. Cheng. Thank you, Miss Shen. I will certainly stick to my principles and continue to be a good teacher. I will nurture Cheng Qianqian and Shen Lang into successful adults and will not let you down.”

Cheng Yuan feigned a serious tone to admonish her. ”Teacher Zhang, it’s not enough to only nurture Qianqian and Shen Lang. You have to nurture all the students in Class One into successful adults!”

Cheng Yuan’s words struck a chord with all the parents, who immediately began to flatter him wildly.

”Look at Mr. Cheng’s awareness! Truly a social elite!”

”No wonder Mr. Cheng is so successful. Look at his level of thinking!”

Zhang Jing smiled. ”Mr. Cheng’s criticism is right. I will treat all students equally and nurture them all into successful adults!”

For a time, the atmosphere in the classroom became exceedingly pleasant.

Only Li Bo and Ji Yanjun were on pins and needles. Just a moment ago, they had been antagonizing Cheng Yuan, and their children were competing with Cheng Qianqian for a spot in the math competition!

With just one word from Mr. Cheng, the teachers at First Middle would surely make things difficult for their children.

By then, their kids would be done for!

Li Bo couldn’t sit still any longer. He went up to Cheng Yuan with a fawning expression and said, ”I’ve given it some serious thought. Having prior math competition experience doesn’t really prove anything. Cheng Qianqian scored first on the last test, so a spot in the math competition must go to her! My son, Li Xin, can just try harder and aim for a spot in next semester’s competition!”

Ji Yanjun couldn’t sit still either and hurried forward. ”Old Li, what are you being so modest for? My Tingting has already secured a guaranteed admission spot at Beijing University. The math competition is just icing on the cake. This spot should be left for a student who needs it more!”

Zhang Jing wasn’t sure what was going on, so she looked inquiringly at Li Yankui. Li Yankui then briefly recounted what had just happened.

Zhang Jing nodded slightly and turned to Cheng Yuan. ”Mr. Cheng, what are your thoughts?”

Cheng Yuan shrugged. ’These two are quick on their feet.’ Since they had already backed down, Cheng Yuan couldn’t be bothered to pursue the matter.

Cheng Yuan had already unblocked more than half of the fine Meridians and capillaries in Cheng Qianqian’s Brain Domain. Her mental agility and intelligence had increased significantly.

Cheng Yuan had absolute confidence in Cheng Qianqian.

If the current Cheng Qianqian said she was second, no one would dare claim to be first!

”Just do what you’re supposed to do. My Qianqian doesn’t need special privileges. Let the results of the next test speak for themselves. The three kids with the best scores will go to the math competition.”

The surrounding parents and students were filled with a new respect for Cheng Yuan. He clearly had the absolute advantage, yet Mr. Cheng was still willing to give others a chance!

’Now that’s true class!’
