The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 85: Chapter 85: I Refuse to Believe This

Li Yankui deliberately emphasized the titles ”President Ji” and ”Chief Li,” hoping Cheng Yuan would know to back down.

But Cheng Yuan couldn’t care less about some president or chief. He stared back at Li Yankui, refusing to yield.

”Teacher Li, what they’re saying has a point, I won’t argue with that. Since you all feel my Qianqian’s performance isn’t consistent, then let’s have another test! If my Qianqian can get first place again, you’ll have nothing left to say, right?”

With so many parents watching, Li Yankui couldn’t say no. He said grimly, ”Fine, then we’ll have another test! If Cheng Qianqian still gets first place, it will prove her last test was skill, not luck.”

The matter was settled for the time being. The parents began whispering among themselves, discussing the incident while waiting for the homeroom teacher to arrive and officially begin the conference.

Suddenly, the classroom door was rudely thrown open, and a fashionably dressed, bejeweled woman strode into the classroom, her face a cold mask.

Trailing behind the woman was a balding middle-aged man, and behind him, a boy with a lazy, arrogant swagger.

The woman strode to the teacher’s desk, grabbed the blackboard eraser, and slammed it down hard!

BANG!

The clamor in the classroom died instantly. Everyone’s eyes snapped to the woman on the dais. Upon recognizing her, the pupils of Ji Yanjun and Li Bo contracted slightly. ’How did it end up being this tigress?’

’Who pissed her off?’

’Whoever it is, they’re in for it now!’

As Class 1’s math teacher, Li Yankui had to step forward since the homeroom teacher hadn’t arrived yet.

”Excuse me, ma’am, I don’t believe you’re a parent in this class. Is there something you need?”

The woman glared viciously at Li Yankui and shouted, ”Where is that little bitch Cheng Qianqian? Get your ass out here and show yourself!”

The woman was terrifying. Startled at being called out so suddenly, Cheng Qianqian jumped, instinctively grabbing onto Cheng Yuan’s sleeve.

Cheng Yuan gently patted her hand, reassuring her not to be scared.

Having long since resented Cheng Qianqian for taking her top spot in math, Ji Tingting didn’t hesitate to point a finger at her. In a cloyingly sweet voice, she said, ”Aunt Jin, that’s Cheng Qianqian. What do you need her for?”

Jin Nana obviously knew Ji Tingting. Her expression softened for a moment, and she gave her a gentle nod before turning back to Cheng Qianqian and unleashing a verbal tirade!

”Cheng Qianqian! You shameless little whore! You keep trying to seduce my son, and his grades have plummeted because of you! He went from first in the class all the way down to third from last! You owe my family an explanation, and you’re going to give it to us today!”

With that, Jin Nana stormed down from the dais, dragging her son behind her as she marched straight toward Cheng Yuan and his sister!

Jin Nana’s husband, Huang Qun, followed with his hands clasped behind his back, perfectly embodying an air of arrogant authority.

On their way, many parents flashed him obsequious smiles. After all, he was the director of the Municipal Government Office—a man with significant clout on his home turf of Luocheng.

Cheng Yuan knew his sister and didn’t believe a word of Jin Nana’s nonsense. He watched her approach with a cold gaze.

”You should take a good look at that son of yours! He’s stupid and ugly! My Qianqian would sooner go after a pig than your son!”

Pfft. A wave of stifled snickers rippled through the classroom.

Hearing Cheng Yuan’s words, Huang Qun’s face turned livid, his carefully constructed facade crumbling. He roared, ”You brat, watch your mouth! What do you mean, ’stupid and ugly’? Where are your manners? Homeroom teacher! Where is the homeroom teacher?! A student this depraved should be expelled at once!”

Cheng Yuan stared coldly at Huang Qun. ”Expelled just because you say so? And just who do you think you are?”

At Cheng Yuan’s words, many of the surrounding parents stared at him as if he were a fool. ’This kid must be insane. Does he have any idea who Director Huang is?’

’He’s someone who interacts with the City Lord on a daily basis!’

One of the parents who had a favorable impression of Cheng Yuan leaned over and whispered a warning, ”Young man, that’s Director Huang, from the Municipal Government Office. People like us can’t afford to cross him. Just bear with it for a moment, maybe apologize. With so many witnesses, Director Huang probably won’t take it too far.”

Cheng Yuan scoffed. ”Director of the Municipal Government Office? No wonder he’s so high and mighty. Well, I don’t scare that easily. I’ll make you a promise right now: pull whatever strings you have. If you actually manage to get my sister expelled, I’ll take your surname!”

”You’ve brought this on yourself! Remember, you’re the one who said it!”

Livid, Huang Qun whipped out his phone and called the dean of students. ”Director Sun, Huang Qun here. Cheng Qianqian, in Class 1 of the senior year, has repeatedly tried to seduce my son, causing his academic performance to plummet. A rotten apple like that must be expelled immediately!”

”Don’t worry, Director Huang, I’ll be sure to give you a satisfactory resolution!”

Just then, a stunning woman walked into the classroom, leading a remarkably handsome young boy by the hand. She wore a chic business suit and subtle makeup, her beauty and figure easily a 9.5 out of 10.

Upon seeing the pair, Huang Qun hastily put his phone away. In an instant, he performed the human equivalent of a Sichuan opera face-change, his furious expression melting seamlessly into a fawning grin.

An incredibly sincere and simple-looking smile spread across Huang Qun’s face. To an unknowing observer, he would have looked like the most honest and dutiful man in the world.

Huang Qun scurried forward in just a few steps and gave the pair a deep bow.

”Greetings to the Young Miss and Young Master.”

WHOA!

The entire classroom exploded into an uproar. Everyone stared at Shen Manwen and Shen Lang, their expressions a mixture of shock and disbelief.

’For Director Huang to be this respectful, they have to be from one of Luocheng’s absolute top families!’

’Are they from the City Lord’s family?’

’Either way, they’re not people we can afford to cross!’

The parents immediately began whispering warnings to their own children, telling them to never, ever provoke the young boy. From now on, whatever he said was law; they were absolutely forbidden from talking back to him or opposing him in any way.

The teachers were also taken aback. They never expected such a big shot to be hiding in their class.

Fortunately, Shen Lang was not only handsome but also a decent student, so the teachers already had a favorable impression of him and treated him well.

’Looks like we’ll have to be even nicer to him from now on!’

Shen Manwen had no time for sycophants like Director Huang. Without even glancing at him, she took Shen Lang’s hand and started walking toward his seat.

Halfway there, her eyes landed on a familiar face. The icy mask on Shen Manwen’s face melted in an instant, replaced by a radiant smile. She changed direction, pulling Shen Lang along as she strode toward Cheng Yuan!

”Brother Cheng, fancy seeing you here! Are you here for the parent-teacher conference too?”

”Yeah, my mom couldn’t make it, so I’m here for my little sister’s conference. I didn’t realize my sister and your little brother were in the same class.”

Beside them, Shen Lang sized up Cheng Yuan with a curious expression. He couldn’t for the life of him figure out why his big sister was being so warm and friendly to this strange man.

As far as Shen Lang could remember, his sister was a notoriously beautiful ice queen.

Nearby, Huang Qun’s heart dropped.

’No way. That kid actually knows the Young Miss?’

’Just who the hell is he?’

A terrible premonition suddenly surfaced in Huang Qun’s mind.
