The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 86: Chapter 86: Huang Qun Is Terrified

The surrounding parents and teachers fell silent, their eyes darting about uncertainly.

’That beautiful woman was so cold to Director Huang, yet so warm to that Xiaocheng. Could he have some powerful background?’

Ji Yanjun and Li Bo were on pins and needles. They had just been competing with this Xiaocheng for a spot in the math competition. ’Have we picked a fight with the wrong person?’

The two shot Huang Qun a look, pleading for help. Unfortunately, Huang Qun was struggling to save his own skin and couldn’t spare them a thought.

Huang Qun racked his brain, but he simply couldn’t recall anyone from Luocheng’s elite named Cheng Yuan.

So, Huang Qun started to reassure himself.

’He’s probably just an ordinary friend the young lady met through work, right?’

Just then, Shen Manwen pulled Shen Lang to her side and introduced them with great solemnity. ”Brother Cheng, this is my little brother, Shen Lang. Little brother, this is Brother Cheng—Cheng Yuan. Hurry up and say hello to Brother Cheng.”

Shen Lang had clearly heard of Cheng Yuan before. He greeted him deferentially, ”Hello, Brother Cheng. My parents have mentioned you many times. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person.”

Hearing Shen Lang’s words, Huang Qun broke out in a cold sweat. ’The City Lord and his wife have mentioned this Cheng fellow many times?’

’Looks like this man is a somebody after all!’

Cheng Yuan pursed his lips. ”I’m not doing well. In fact, I’m not doing well at all.”

Huh?

Shen Lang was completely thrown by Cheng Yuan’s response. He glanced cautiously at his older sister, wondering how he had managed to offend the man.

Shen Manwen smiled. ”Brother Cheng, has Xiaolang offended you? Please, for my sake, forgive him this time. He’s just a kid.”

Huang Qun’s back was instantly drenched in sweat!

Holy hell!

’It seems I’ve still underestimated this Mr. Cheng’s background. Even the young lady has to be so deferential and plead with him!’

Cheng Yuan chuckled. ”It’s not our little brother’s fault. It’s this Director Huang here. He keeps falsely accusing my sister of seducing his son, and he even wants to have her expelled. Who gave him that authority?”

Huang Qun was so frightened he staggered, nearly collapsing to the floor!

Huang Qun’s wife, Jin Nana, was also trembling with fear, all of her previous tigress-like demeanor gone.

Their son, Huang Zili, was in even worse shape. His legs had turned to jelly, and he could barely stay on his feet.

Shen Manwen turned and fixed Huang Qun with an icy glare.

”Director Huang, you’re quite the big shot! I don’t think even my father is as impressive as you! You want to expel Brother Cheng’s sister? Why don’t you just go ahead and expel Xiaolang while you’re at it!”

With sweat pouring down his face, Huang Qun quickly bowed his head. ”I wouldn’t dare! How could I! It’s a misunderstanding, Young Lady! I swear, it’s all a misunderstanding!”

Cheng Yuan snorted. ”Director Huang, I don’t care if it’s a misunderstanding. You’ve tarnished my sister’s reputation, and you’re going to answer for it today!”

”Yes, yes, of course! We must make this right for student Cheng Qianqian!”

With that, Huang Qun hauled his son forward and said coldly, ”What really happened? You’d better explain everything, right now! If you don’t, I’ll break your legs! I’ll cut off your allowance! I’ll kick you out of this house!”

Huang Zili had been spoiled rotten his whole life. Even now, he refused to admit his mistake. He jutted out his chin stubbornly. ”I’m telling the truth!”

Shen Lang stepped forward and called him out. ”Huang Zili, do you remember what you said when we had dinner a few days ago? You said you had your eye on Cheng Qianqian from our class. But because she was focused on her studies, ignored your pestering, and rejected your advances multiple times, you were going to ruin her reputation! I can’t believe you’re so despicable. The guilty party is pointing the finger first!”

Huang Zili and Shen Lang didn’t have a great relationship, but Huang Zili always boasted about being friends with the City Lord’s son. He retorted loudly, ”Shen Lang! That’s bullshit! I did have dinner with you, but I only told Teng Jiang about this! You and Teng Jiang don’t even get along! There’s no way he would’ve told you!”

As soon as the words were out, Huang Zili realized what he’d said and slapped a hand over his mouth.

The classroom instantly erupted!

Everyone was furious!

”Did he really just out himself like that? Mr. Cheng called him ugly and stupid a minute ago, and it looks like he wasn’t wrong!”

”That’s a bold play for the werewolf, isn’t it? Too bad this wolf’s a few cards short of a full deck.”

”So it was that toad Huang Zili lusting after a swan. How shameless!”

”What a scumbag! He can’t get the girl, so he tries to ruin her reputation! And even wants to get her expelled!”

Huang Qun could have cried at his precious son’s stupidity. He raised his hand and slapped him so hard that Huang Zili’s face swelled up instantly!

”You bastard! You lied to us! You’ve completely disgraced me! Now! Immediately! Apologize to Cheng Qianqian!”

Huang Zili didn’t dare argue any longer. He turned to Cheng Qianqian. ”Cheng Qianqian, this was all my fault! I was the one harassing and pestering you. When you rejected me, I held a grudge and tried to ruin your reputation! I’m sorry!”

With that, Huang Zili gave a deep bow.

Cheng Qianqian couldn’t be bothered to engage with him. She said coldly, ”Huang Zili, from this moment on, I don’t want to see you ever again.”

”Okay, okay! From now on, I will never appear before you again! If I see you on the street, I’ll give you a wide berth!”

”Fine. We’ll leave it at that. Just remember what you said.”

Cheng Qianqian was willing to let it go, but Cheng Yuan wasn’t nearly as lenient. He fixed Huang Qun with a cold gaze.

”Director Huang, I hear Sixth Middle School is a nice place. What do you think?”

Sixth Middle School?

That was Luocheng’s most infamous school for academic failures!

But with Cheng Yuan having spoken, Huang Qun didn’t dare argue. He nodded repeatedly. ”Mr. Cheng is right. A slacker like my son isn’t fit to attend First Middle School. I’ll process his transfer paperwork immediately.”

Since Huang Qun had caved so completely, Cheng Yuan couldn’t be bothered to press the matter further. He just gave a cold snort and fell silent.

Just then, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed from the hallway, and a balding, middle-aged man in his fifties strode into the classroom.

A young female teacher followed him, trying to say something, but Wu Dunmao wore a look of impatience and clearly wasn’t listening.

”Director Wu is here?”

”Hello, Director Wu!”

The parents greeted the middle-aged man one after another, for he was the Head of Discipline at First Middle School—Wu Dunmao.

Some parents also greeted the female teacher, Zhang Jing, the homeroom teacher for Class One.

Wu Dunmao gave a reserved nod to the parents who greeted him. His eyes scanned the room and quickly found Huang Qun and his family.

He shot Huang Qun a subtle glance, as if to say, ’It’s been taken care of.’ Then, Wu Dunmao turned to look coldly at Cheng Qianqian and Cheng Yuan.

”You must be Cheng Qianqian’s guardian, correct? Cheng Qianqian has been expelled. Here are her academic records. Please leave immediately.”

’Qianqian’s academic records??’

Cheng Yuan’s expression turned black as ink. He was struggling to control the Celestial Witch True Essence inside him, and the temperature in the classroom instantly plunged by several degrees!

Before Cheng Yuan could erupt, Zhang Jing stepped forward. ”Director Wu,” she said loudly, ”I know Cheng Qianqian. She’s a good student. This matter hasn’t even been properly investigated, how can you just expel her?”

Huang Qun nearly pissed himself in terror. ’This Wu Dunmao... isn’t he a little too efficient? He already expelled Cheng Qianqian?’

’That man is going to be the death of me!’

Huang Qun shrieked like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. ”Teacher Zhang is right! A student as outstanding as Cheng Qianqian—how could she possibly be expelled? Director Wu, this is utterly absurd!”
