Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 2876: Chapter 2812: Increasing Exposure

”Your old photos have been published in the newspapers before,” Wang Yi placed a newspaper in front of her. ”Look, now whenever there are any reports, they use this photo from back then. Check it out yourself, see what’s off with the photo.”

What’s off with the photo?

This photo is still from more than a year ago.

Because Jiang Xiao’s life has changed the most in the past two years, and she’s also in a phase of growing up, there’s already a very noticeable difference between a year ago and now.

The photo from a year ago looks quite blurry, and back then she still had some naivety in her face. To their eyes now, even the clothes seem a bit rustic.

In comparison, the current Jiang Xiao is truly radiant and beautiful.

Jiang Xiao looked at Wang Yi.

”See it now? How long do you want the newspapers and magazines to keep using such photos? With this opportunity, of course, you should take another set of beautiful ones!”

Wang Yi said with a grin, ”After all, your fame has always been linked with the beautiful painter image. You need to expose yourself more; it will help make your fame even louder.”

Fame should be achieved early?

Jiang Xiao couldn’t help but laugh.

She didn’t have much of an intention initially, but she knew better than anyone that sometimes the reliance fame brings is unimaginable.

She is herself, first Jiang Xiao, then the daughter of Sixth Young Master Jiang, the fiancée of Meng Xinian, and the niece of Jiang Yingqiong.

She must have her own confidence first.

The identity of a painter is what she’ll rely on for a lifetime.

Moreover, it’s also her passion and hobby.

So, she could indeed put more effort into this path.

Thinking of this, Jiang Xiao nodded in agreement.

”Good, are your paintings almost ready? If they are, send them over, I’ll arrange for workers to frame them. The exhibition will start in three days. I’ll help set up a time for a photo and interview with the Capital City magazine reporters. There might be a TV interview on the first day of the exhibition. Do you want to buy two new outfits? I noticed you haven’t bought new clothes in a while.”

Having a friend like Wang Yi to chat about these topics reminded Jiang Xiao that she is a girl, and girls, after all, should not give up on shopping for clothes and dressing themselves up.

Life shouldn’t only be left with the ”worrisome Jiang Xiao”, or it will be exhausting in the future.

She put an arm around Wang Yi’s shoulder and said, ”Alright, so do you have time to go shopping with me for clothes tomorrow afternoon? Speaking of which, you are a soon-to-be bride, right? You should have a lot of things to buy as well. Let’s shop together tomorrow.”

”I’ll sneak out an hour early tomorrow, so we can go as soon as you finish school.”

”It’s a deal then.”

Wang Yi suddenly said, ”By the way, did Kuang Yunxian send you an invitation?”

Jiang Xiao was taken aback.

”A wedding invitation?”

”Yeah, isn’t he good friends with your Commander Meng?”

”He did.”

”The Du Family sent our family an invitation.”

Oh?

Jiang Xiao was enlightened.

The Du Family and Wang Family are in the same circle. Wang Yi’s father is somewhat an official, so it’s quite normal for the Du Family to send them an invitation.

But saying it like this, does the Du Jinruo family intend to host a big event?

Weren’t they dissatisfied with Kuang Yunxian’s status?

”Did you check the venue for the banquet?”

”Didn’t pay attention.” Jiang Xiao shook her head.

She didn’t plan to go anyway, so she didn’t look too closely, only at the date.

”Capital City Grand Hotel.”
