Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 2241: Chapter 2177: Interested in Investing?

Chiang Xiao had already decided to open an art gallery here.

However, it also needs to be renovated to completely erase the traces left by the Kong Family and make a big change.

Since it was the weekend, after delivering another batch of goods to Youqingwei, Chiang Xiao arranged to meet with Chen Yin and Wang Yi.

”Sister-in-law, it’s just as well, I also have something to discuss with you. Didn’t you ask me before to find a place to set up a processing workshop? I’ve found one, do you want to take a look?”

She had found a place earlier that Chiang Xiao had visited and thought was suitable, but the landlord couple had conflicting opinions and were always arguing. After consulting with Chiang Xiao, Chen Yin dropped the place and decided to find a new one.

”This time, the place is absolutely reliable. The landlord needs money urgently but is unwilling to sell the house, so he demands a longer rental period—six years minimum. Others aren’t keen on this, but I thought you might not mind.”

”Six years? That’s fine.”

Chiang Xiao preferred a longer lease to avoid frequent relocations.

The tea and snacks she planned to serve required a very clean and hygienic environment, so she had decided to renovate and tidy up properly. A short lease would be unsuitable.

Moreover, at this time, the rent was quite cheap for her, so she’d rather rent for a few more years, making it more cost-effective.

”Then we can go and take a look later.” Chen Yin was delighted to be able to help Chiang Xiao. If Chiang Xiao was happy, Meng Xinian would be happy too, and if Meng Xinian was happy, their brotherhood would last longer.

Also, if Chiang Xiao was happy, Wang Yi would be happy too.

Chiang Xiao asked, ”Chen Yin, are you planning to do real estate renovations?”

”Yes, that’s the plan. More people are starting to buy houses now, and I feel this could be a good opportunity. Also, Sister-in-law, I’m currently applying for management rights on Youqingwei Street. If it goes through, I’ll set up an office on this street. In the future, all matters on this street will be managed by me. If you have any problems, you can deal with me directly.”

Chiang Xiao was slightly taken aback, ”Hey, sure, property management?”

Chen Yin’s mind was quite sharp.

The real estate business hadn’t really taken off yet, but it was in its budding stage. In the future, when real estate boomed, the first people to enter the market would become incredibly wealthy.

It seemed Chen Yin was prepared to take this path.

She wasn’t interested in these kinds of businesses; too much dealing with numerous people and departments was required, which didn’t suit her personality at all.

She couldn’t just punch someone if they couldn’t come to an agreement.

She also didn’t want to discuss business over drinks; she had no interest in drinking and chatting about random things with strangers.

So, she thought she’d quietly acquire a few more properties whenever she had the chance.

But for Chen Yin, taking this path was completely viable.

”Exactly, Sister-in-law, you’re really smart, that’s exactly what I mean.” Chen Yin didn’t know why, but he wanted to hear Chiang Xiao’s opinion. If she thought it was feasible and promising, his confidence would soar.

”That’s doable, and you could also buy land and construct buildings to sell later. At that time, management of those properties could be entrusted to your property management company, or you could subcontract it to others.”

Chen Yin’s eyes lit up.

”I do want to do this, but I lack the funds,” Chen Yin looked at Chiang Xiao as if she were a big, dripping piece of bread. ”Sister-in-law, are you interested in investing?”

Actually, the investor he most wanted to find was Chiang Xiao.
