Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 2223: Chapter 2159: Falsely Accusing Others

”It wasn’t me! It was her! She was with Deng Qingjiang, I was just covering for her! Those photos, she asked me to take them! Xie Landi is poor, she ran away from the mountains, a penniless pauper, so she’s greedy for money. It’s her, she’s ugly, only young, that’s why she agreed to be with the old man. How could I? I’m so beautiful, I can find a good match in the future, why would I ruin my own future!”

Everyone was dumbfounded.

What does this all mean?

Xie Landi was completely bewildered.

”Ye Wanqing, what are you talking about?”

”Do you dare to say you didn’t? Didn’t Uncle Liu at Deng Qingjiang’s family furniture store touch and kiss you on the mouth?”

Xie Landi’s face turned pale.

How did Ye Wanqing know about this?

At this moment, Ye Wanqing didn’t care about anything else; she just wanted to shift everything onto Xie Landi, so she spilled everything Deng Qingjiang told her in bed.

”Xie Landi just wants money. As long as you give her money, she’ll do anything! That Uncle Liu is over fifty, asked her to hug and kiss him, and he’d give her fifty yuan, and she agreed!”

Xie Landi’s mind went blank, her vision went dark.

The old man clearly promised not to tell anyone.

He clearly said no one would know.

How does Ye Wanqing know?

She broke down and shouted, ”No, it’s not like that! He harassed me! He forced me!”

”But didn’t you take the money?”

”That’s not how it was!” Xie Landi never explained before, she’s clumsy with words, now on the verge of collapsing, she just kept saying it wasn’t like that, her face pale, tears streaming down.

That old man did harass her, then threatened her that if she spoke, he’d come to the art school and tell her teachers and classmates she was hugged and kissed by a man.

When he saw she was weak, he gave her fifty yuan as compensation.

She did need money and was too afraid to let anyone know, so she took the money.

The man clearly said no one would know, why does Ye Wanqing know so much now? How could she ever face the principal, the teachers? How could she face her classmates?

If this spread to her hometown, her parents would be so disgraced they couldn’t show their faces.

Xie Landi was in a daze.

Liu Guoying saw something was wrong, and immediately snapped at Ye Wanqing: ”Ye Wanqing, you’re truly incorrigible, malicious! Do you think we’re all idiots? That house was given to you, those photos were taken with you, what does this have to do with fellow student Xie Landi? How could she threaten you to cover for her?”

Does Ye Wanqing really think they’re all fools?

This matter is easy to figure out with a little thinking.

She still wants to make her final struggle, smearing her classmate!

”Principal, with such character, she really shouldn’t be a student at our art school! Anyway, I won’t allow her to stay in our class!” Liu Guoying said angrily.

Ye Wanqing clutched her collar tightly, looking at Liu Guoying in shock, then pleadingly looked at the principal.

What’s happening? What’s happening?

Chen Kaijin also shouted: ”This is the kind of good student your art school produces! Let’s see who dares to come study here in the future, who dares to associate with the female students of the art school!”

The principal took a deep breath.

The impact of this incident was really terrible.

Moreover, Ye Wanqing wasn’t just one problem, she also had the issue of exhibiting others’ paintings under her own name.
