Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 1439: Chapter 1441: Planning to Buy Her a House

Kuang Yunxian was stunned.

”Uncle is going to buy her a house? With Uncle’s money?”

Kuang Qingqing said: ”Of course, it’s my dad’s money. When has that vixen ever been rich? All these years, she’s been living in our house, living off us, spending our money. When has she ever earned a cent? My mom got her so many jobs, and the longest she lasted was half a month, earning twenty bucks. And then my dad praised her and bought her a pair of silver earrings for fifty! Ridiculous. Does she have money to buy a house?”

”So, weren’t you always saying as long as she was willing to move out, it would be fine?”

”I want her to move out, but I never said we should use our money to buy her a house! Isn’t my dad’s money mine too? Do you know how much that apartment costs? Sixty-eight thousand!”

”So, this was the cause of your fight? How did you get hurt then? What did the doctor say?” Kuang Yunxian glanced at her cast-covered leg and the arm hung around her neck.

Kuang Qingqing sniffed: ”The doctor said, my leg is fractured, and so is my hand. Anyway, I reckon I’ll need until New Year’s to recover.”

”That serious? How exactly did you get hurt?”

”After my dad said he would buy that vixen a house, she became guilty and started avoiding me. She’d hide in her room all day. When I knocked on her door, she’d feign sleep. If I knocked loudly, my dad would scold me. So, when I finally caught her and she tried to rush upstairs, I ran up and grabbed her, telling her to get out of our house immediately. But she pushed me away and I fell down the stairs!”

”So you mean, she didn’t push you down the stairs on purpose?”

”What do you mean ’not on purpose’? If it was an accident, would she have pushed so hard?” Kuang Qingqing said: ”And then my dad even said I started the physical fight, accused me of disrespecting my elder. Ha! What a joke! Bro, tell me, how is that vixen considered an elder? Seriously, acting all delicate, like a pampered young lady living at home, just seeing her makes my blood boil! What, just because she’s pretty? She uses her face to wheedle my dad around her finger! Bro, if you say there’s nothing improper between her and my dad, you can chop off my head and kick it like a ball!”

Kuang Yunxian couldn’t help but pat her head.

”A young lady should know what can and can’t be said. You have to distinguish!”

Kuang Qingqing pouted: ”Anyway, my mom ended up hiding away and crying, and my heart aches seeing her like that.”

”Didn’t Auntie come to stay with you?”

”I insisted that she go back. She did want to stay with me, but if she did, that would leave my dad alone with that vixen at home, right? I’ve been watching them for years, if this fox finds an opportunity now, what if she ends up sleeping in my mom’s bed?”

Kuang Yunxian paused.

He had given up on teaching her how to speak.

”Bro, stay with me tonight, so we can figure out how to stop my dad from buying that vixen a house!”

”You’re a grown-up girl now, it’s not proper for me to stay. I’ll go back and have Auntie come over. Seeing you like this, she must be worried sick at home and won’t be able to sleep all night.”

”You’re going back?” Kuang Qingqing was visibly disappointed. But after thinking it over, she could only accept it. ”Alright then, but you have to keep a close eye on that vixen!”
