Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 152: Chapter 128: What are you all trying to pretend with me, Zhang Beixing?_2

This was Zhang Beixing’s greatest concern.

After all, he was merely human, with a mortal’s flesh and blood.

Even with his excellent skills and strong physique, if he wasn’t careful, a stray bullet could still prove fatal.

But if he didn’t take the initiative to strike, and just waited for them to get closer... The outcome didn’t seem promising either.

Hiding behind a rock, Zhang Beixing thought for a moment, then decided to test the waters. He poked his head out and addressed the group of traffickers, ”Hey there, you guys succeeded. You’ve pushed me to this point, and I’ve accepted my fate. But I’m afraid of pain, so could you use a gun to give me a quick end?”

Hearing Zhang Beixing’s words, the traffickers’ leader was unmoved. He sneered, resting a knife on his shoulder, his upturned, triangular eyes filled with cold malice, ”A quick end? Kid, you’ve dragged us around like this, and you still want an easy way out? Fine, I’ll give you a quick end. I’ll count to three, and if you come out, I promise to chop off your neck with one strike, so you won’t feel any pain as you go!”

He had made up his mind: the moment Zhang Beixing dared to show his face, he would have his men hack him to death in a frenzy, venting the grudge for being toyed and tormented by him.

As for using a gun, like Zhang Beixing had suggested... he actually wanted to use one, but the problem was, he didn’t have any! Guns were incredibly hard to come by in Great Xia. It was only possible to get hold of one outside or in certain special places. In a Central Plains region like Shishi, one couldn’t even dream of it. Moreover, if he really did have a gun, he would have used it the moment he got out of the car, or even earlier, and dealt with Zhang Beixing right then and there. Why would he have endured being played by Zhang Beixing for so long and suffered this aggravation?

The leader of the traffickers gazed at Zhang Beixing, his mind already conjuring a hundred ways to make Zhang Beixing’s life worse than death. Little did he know, however, that Zhang Beixing, by observing the man’s words and actions and combining them with prior events, had just realized they didn’t have guns.

Suddenly, Zhang Beixing’s confidence soared! If you guys had guns, Brother Zhang would still give you some face and be cautious. But since you don’t have guns... Still trying to surround me? Have I given them too much face, making them forget who they are?

Once he understood this, Zhang Beixing’s caution vanished. He swaggered out from behind the rock, his face full of disdain for the traffickers. ”No guns, and you’re still putting on airs with me? What’s the point?”

Seeing Zhang Beixing’s brazen demeanor, the traffickers were taken aback for a moment. Then they saw Zhang Beixing adopt a starting posture of martial arts.

Strike first to gain an advantage, hesitate and suffer the consequences. Zhang Beixing didn’t waste any time. He targeted the closest trafficker, who was still in a daze, pushed off the ground powerfully, and charged forward like an arrow!

The traffickers also snapped back to reality. Furious that Zhang Beixing dared to be so arrogant even now, they rushed at him with their knives, shouting, ”Kill this brat!”

The man Zhang Beixing had singled out as his first target quickly regained his composure after a brief stupor. He saw Zhang Beixing coming toward him and raised his knife to strike. But it was too late!

After boosting both his Power and Constitution to 91, Zhang Beixing’s explosive speed was terrifying. Though not on par with Usain Bolt’s 9.58 seconds for the 100-meter dash, breaking the 10-second barrier for that distance was absolutely no problem for him. Besides, the man Zhang Beixing had targeted was not even a hundred meters away, merely a little over ten.

This meant that almost instantly, Zhang Beixing appeared in front of the man, like lightning that doesn’t allow you to cover your ears in time. With fists cupped, he brought up his elbows, channeling his energy.

Looking at the ferocious human trafficker and the gleaming knife in his hand, Zhang Beixing thought, To be honest, I don’t feel very confident. Since I started my martial arts training, apart from that one altercation with Dong Shengjie, I’ve never fought anyone else. I was once close to sparring with a retired combat sports athlete, but Teacher Liu snatched the opportunity away. This means I’ve practiced martial arts up to this point knowing only that I’ve mastered certain techniques. But how formidable are those techniques once mastered? What are their effects? How strong am I really? I have no clear idea! And that’s not even mentioning that this time I’m facing a gang of desperados wielding knives! I can’t afford to be careless! I have to use all my strength, go all out, and not hold back. Otherwise, if they all attack together, even with my formidable physical constitution, I doubt I could withstand many knife strikes!

With this thought in mind, he had already silently mobilized his Hidden Force, and there was no reservation in his attack. Then... with his elbow aimed at the man’s wide-open chest, he delivered a fierce blow!

BANG! A dull thud resonated as his elbow hit the chest squarely.

Struck by this powerful blow, the man’s eyes bulged, almost popping out of his head. His body kept retreating, moving back five or six meters before finally coming to a halt. Then he collapsed with a thundering fall, his eyes losing focus!

At this moment, if someone were to put their ear against his chest, they would find that inside the man’s body, a continuing series of muffled cracks was emanating! Clearly, under the full force of Zhang Beixing’s strike, his internal organs had been crushed to pieces by the Hidden Force Zhang Beixing had unleashed!

!!!

It all happened in an instant. Seeing Zhang Beixing take down one of their accomplices so cleanly and decisively, the human traffickers present were first startled, then filled with immense anger!

The leader of the traffickers was red with rage. He picked up a knife and roared, ”Damn it, how dare you fight back! Brothers, go! Hack this little brat to death!”

Yelling, he rushed forward with the knife, leading the charge towards Zhang Beixing.

Seeing their boss take the lead, his subordinates naturally didn’t dawdle. Ganging up on a young man, Bare Hands, they felt no fear at all. They brandished their knives and slashed toward Zhang Beixing.

Seeing this, Zhang Beixing was not at all afraid. At this point, fear is useless. Whether I fight back or not, these human traffickers absolutely won’t let me go. Since that’s the case, then let’s do this!

”Fuck!” Zhang Beixing let out a low roar and took the initiative to meet the attackers.

Finding the one nearest to him, Zhang Beixing dodged the man’s strike, then grabbed the hand holding the knife and squeezed hard. The man’s hand bones fractured under Zhang Beixing’s grip, and he couldn’t hold the knife. Zhang Beixing then seized the opportunity to execute a set of ”Overlord Hogtying” moves, planting a kick in the man’s abdomen and violently sending him flying toward the most crowded area. The man shot backward uncontrollably, knocking over three or four others.

Following that, Zhang Beixing was about to pick up a chopping knife from the ground. But just as he was doing so, for some inexplicable reason, Zhang Beixing suddenly felt a tightening in his chest, as if something dangerous was about to happen. Zhang Beixing didn’t dare to be careless; he immediately changed his move and plunged forward instead.

It was at the exact moment he lunged. Driver Xiao Wu, taking advantage of the scuffle, had stealthily appeared behind him. A sinister smile on his face, he swung a horizontal cut at Zhang Beixing’s waist. But because Zhang Beixing suddenly changed his move, even though Driver Xiao Wu struck quickly, the knife blade only grazed Zhang Beixing’s back. While tearing his clothes, it also left a shallow but long gash on his back!
