Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Such Terror!

The man in sunglasses was clearly here to pick a fight. The burly man beside him must have been his enforcer.

Comparing their heights and builds, Zhang Beixing felt the situation was somewhat troublesome.

It wasn’t that he couldn’t beat them, but only after the fight would he know for sure.

”Sister Qi, once the fight starts, I might not be able to look out for you, so be careful,” he said, turning his face to Lin Siqi. ”If things go south, just run without worrying about me. If I can’t beat them, I’ll run. I’m steady on my feet, and if I really run, they might not catch me!

”Also, call the police quickly!”

He was being honest, albeit modestly. Zhang Beixing wouldn’t claim to be very strong. However, when it came to his lower body strength, he could confidently say he had made some achievements.

They’re probably after her again, Zhang Beixing thought.

Hearing his words, Lin Siqi nodded in understanding. She then glanced around, surveying where she might run when the fight broke out. At the same time, her hand had already found her phone, ready to call the police no matter what.

All we need to do is hold out until the police arrive.

At this moment, the man in sunglasses laughed scornfully.

He pulled down his sunglasses, looked at Zhang Beixing, and said, ”Still worrying about others at a time like this, huh? You’d better worry about yourself.

”Let me tell you, I’m here for you this time. You made me spend over ten days in the lockup; this isn’t over.

”You’re quite the fighter, aren’t you? One against five.

”Coincidentally, this former Northern River province fighting champion by my side, who retired due to injury, can also take on five at once.

”Both one against five. Come on, let’s see which of you two is the better fighter!”

With that, the man in sunglasses gestured with his hand. The burly man by his side immediately understood.

He stepped forward, looked at Zhang Beixing, gave a bow, and said, ”I am Ma Feitian. Please enlighten me!”

Saying this, he adopted a freestyle fighting stance. His eyes, sharp as an eagle’s, were fixed on Zhang Beixing.

Seeing this, Zhang Beixing didn’t dare to be careless either.

He also took up the starting pose of the Yue Family Fist, saying, ”Zhang Beixing, an entry-level disciple of the Yue Family Fist, from a generation I’m not even sure of!”

Once the words were spoken, the two stared at each other, silently preparing their moves.

As a former Northern River province fighting champion, Ma Feitian had an excellent physique. He wasn’t like those gym enthusiasts with bulging, shiny muscles. On the contrary, Zhang Beixing could see from his exposed arms that Ma Feitian was very toned.

With black cropped hair, leopard-like eyes, and a slight frown, an intimidating aura emanated from him, one not to be underestimated.

Zhang Beixing had indeed managed to fight one against five before, but those were ordinary people like Dong Shengjie.

Although his strength and physique attributes had both broken through to 85, and his Yue Family Fist had reached the ’Integration’ realm, his opponent was also much stronger!

A former Northern River province fighting champion. The opponent’s physical condition was definitely no less than his own.

After all, an 85 in attributes just means strong, but this guy isn’t just strong; he’s a professional combat athlete.

Zhang Beixing clenched his fists. I’m not sure about my current strength, but I’m confident enough to give it a shot. I’ve only been doing Martial Arts Training for less than a month, but surely I’m not that far off?

I can fight! he thought to himself, resolving to be two hundred percent serious and not to underestimate his opponent.

This is the strongest opponent I’ve faced in the less than a month I’ve been training! I just don’t know how strong I’ve actually become.

In the silent tension, the atmosphere became as fraught as a drawn bow. Even Lin Siqi, standing to the side, felt her heart pound with nervousness.

As a breeze blew by, a plastic bag was swept up, drifting past them.

The scene had the distinct flavor of a martial hero movie. Zhang Beixing and Ma Feitian’s gazes simultaneously sharpened. Then, as if on cue, they both moved forward, ready to fight.

Just at that moment, ”What are you doing?” a male voice came from the side.

Hearing this, everyone turned to look. They saw a plump, amiable-looking middle-aged man riding a bicycle, its basket filled with wholesale food, pedaling past them.

It was Teacher Liu!

He was about to get off his bike when the man in sunglasses cursed, ”Scram!”

”Hey!” Liu Yi responded, then promptly sat back down and pedaled away.

Seeing this, Zhang Beixing’s mouth twitched slightly; he was somewhat speechless. He then turned his head towards Ma Feitian, ready to continue.

But then he heard Liu Yi’s voice from behind him. ”What are you doing?” Liu Yi asked again.

He had locked his bicycle to a nearby pole, worried it might be stolen by some thief, and walked back over, carrying his bags.

”Hey, who the hell do you think you are?” the man in sunglasses spat. ”I told you to scram. Did you get lost on your way out? I’m warning you, this is none of your business. Stop looking for trouble and get lost! Go back where you came from!”

Liu Yi, however, remained unfazed. He glanced at the baffled Zhang Beixing, then at the towering Ma Feitian, and walked over. As he passed Lin Siqi, he shoved the bags he was holding into her hands. Then, staring at the man in sunglasses, he said, ”Zhang Beixing is my student. What are you going to do if I decide to interfere?”

”Fuck! Getting cocky, are we?” the man in sunglasses snarled, now genuinely annoyed. ”Since you’re asking for it, don’t blame us! Ma Feitian, go on, give this old geezer a beating too!”

Ma Feitian paused, then made his move. But instead of going after Liu Yi, he took out his phone, walked up to the man with the sunglasses, and said, ”We agreed on just one. You’ve added another person, so you need to add more money. Twenty thousand.”

”Fuck you...” Seeing this, the man in sunglasses nearly choked on his own blood. He instinctively wanted to curse, but after a thought, he held back and reluctantly transferred the money.

Upon seeing the twenty thousand notification on his WeChat, the burly man nodded.

He then turned to Liu Yi. ”I am Ma Feitian.”

”I am Liu Yi.”

”Please enlighten me!” they said, almost in unison.

As their words settled, Liu Yi and Ma Feitian were momentarily taken aback, their eyes meeting. Then, without another word, they simultaneously lunged at each other. When they decided to fight, they did so without hesitation.

Even though Liu Yi’s physique was out of shape, it didn’t impair his performance in the slightest. Facing Ma Feitian, his strikes were ruthless and cunning, embodying the very essence of the Yue Family Fist.

As a professional combat athlete, Ma Feitian’s style was expansive and powerful, yet intricate, combining aggressive attacks with a tight defense.

The collision of these two different fighting systems, one modern and one ancient, was a true spectacle.

However, after only a few exchanges, the previously imposing Ma Feitian was being relentlessly pushed back by Liu Yi, clearly showing signs of fatigue.

Witnessing this, Zhang Beixing was dumbfounded.

He knew Teacher Liu was formidable, but he had never imagined Teacher Liu was *this* damn formidable!

Damn, appearances really are deceiving! It seems there are realms above ’Integration’! And they say youth holds the advantage in a fight, but there’s something strange about this Yue Family Fist! Teacher Liu is strange too; something’s definitely off! Zhang Beixing exclaimed internally, realizing that Teacher Liu’s identity might be far more complex than it seemed.

This Ma Feitian, a former provincial fighting champion, was now being thrashed by Teacher Liu like a helpless child, gradually losing the ability to fight back, able only to parry.

The elation Zhang Beixing had felt from his own recent breakthrough vanished without a trace.

There’s still so much room for improvement. I’ve only been training for less than a month; I can’t get arrogant. I need to train more. I can get stronger! It’s just a shame I won’t get to test my current strength this time.

「....」

Meanwhile, on the sidelines, the man in sunglasses, who had paid a hefty sum for a fighting champion, watched in disbelief as his hired gun was chased and hammered by a middle-aged, out-of-shape man.

He kept rubbing his eyes, repeatedly confirming he wasn’t mistaken, before exclaiming, ”What the fuck?!”

That was the only thought occupying his mind now. He stared blankly at Liu Yi and Ma Feitian, unable to comprehend the situation.

Come on, Ma Feitian, you’re the former Northern River provincial fighting champion! And now you’re letting some out-of-shape old fatty chase you around? Even if your career-ending injury left some serious after-effects, you shouldn’t be this pathetic, right?

”Ma Feitian, are you fucking messing with me?” the man in sunglasses demanded.

Ma Feitian didn’t respond. It wasn’t that he was trying to act aloof; rather, he was completely preoccupied.

Liu Yi’s mastery of the Yue Family Fist was simply too profound, and it was inherently a lethal combat art designed for life-or-death struggles. The frequency of his attacks was like an automatic pile driver.

Unstoppable. Absolutely unstoppable!
