Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 52: Chapter 52: Yue Family’s Chain Punch, Seeking Advice from Netizens (Third Update)

? A question mark silently formed in her mind.

It wasn’t that Lin Siqi had a problem; she thought *you*, Zhang Beixing, were the issue.

She glanced over the tags—messier than American gender classifications—then at Zhang Beixing’s ”what’s-the-big-deal” expression.

Lin Siqi’s mouth twitched. You call *this* posting a video?

”Lao Zhang, do you have beef with Douyin’s content moderators?” After a moment of silence, Lin Siqi looked at Zhang Beixing and said gravely.

Hearing her words, Zhang Beixing was taken aback. He looked at her with astonishment and said, somewhat bewildered, ”Sister Qi, how did you know? I have a massive feud with that Douyin moderator. Last time, he blocked me for no reason and wouldn’t let me post my video. It drove me mad!”

Lin Siqi’s mouth twitched again. ”Is there a chance that maybe *you’re* the one who messed with the moderator first?”

”Look at all these tags you’ve got; are you trying to fry someone’s CPU?”

”Who in their right mind posts videos like you do?”

”A surveillance video with Martial Arts and combat tags, I can understand. But Otaku dance, anime, fantasy dragon toys – what’s that all about?”

”Never mind someone else reviewing it; even if it were me, seeing these tags, I wouldn’t approve it. What is this mess!”

She rattled on with her complaints.

Having said everything on her mind, Lin Siqi let out a long breath, feeling immensely satisfied.

Zhang Beixing was left a bit dazed by her tirade and asked blankly, ”So what should I do?”

”That’s easy. Just delete some of those tags, edit the video down to just the fighting parts, and then claim it’s your live combat training—problem solved,” Lin Siqi suggested.

Thinking it over, she added, ”Remember, don’t mention the school, don’t try to sway public opinion, and don’t explain the backstory of the video content. That should do it.”

Zhang Beixing pondered for a moment, then had a sudden realization. He lowered his head and started working on his phone.

”Xiao Lin, you’re a lifesaver.”

「Half an hour later.」

Zhang Beixing had crafted a title: [Yue Family Fist Real Combat Training, Comments Welcome #MartialArts #Training].

He then imported the edited video.

Zhang Beixing clicked upload.

Then, he sat holding his phone, waiting.

Before long, a checkmark appeared on the screen.

The video also showed up in his uploads.

Zhang Beixing opened the video and instinctively liked it.

He then opened the comments section and began to type:

”I’ve seen quite a few friends in my previous video asking about the power of my Yue Family Fist. After giving it some thought, I decided to share some surveillance footage from my real combat training a few days ago for everyone’s critique and guidance. My skills are just average, so please be forgiving!”

He rapidly typed out the message and pinned it to the top of the comments.

Zhang Beixing held his phone, his mouth curling up thirty degrees into a wildly triumphant smile.

Clearly, he was intentionally being overly modest.

He had two reasons for doing this.

On one hand, Zhang Beixing wanted to use this comment to encourage people to critique and provide suggestions, thereby giving him more ways to acquire Ability Points.

After all, his Power and Constitution attributes were about to hit eighty.

Based on his experience when all his attributes broke through seventy, once all of Zhang Beixing’s attributes surpassed eighty, the rewards from his previous suggestions would undoubtedly shrink again.

After all, his training intensity was no longer keeping pace with his physical development. Its usefulness would diminish, and naturally, the Ability Points rewarded would also decrease.

If he didn’t get new suggestions by then, relying on the old ones for training would be possible, but it would be highly inefficient and not worth the effort.

On the other hand, it was purely to annoy those who nitpicked for no reason.

Zhang Beixing wasn’t the type to repay grievances with kindness. If he didn’t get an opportunity, that was one thing.

But if he ever got the chance, just you watch—if he didn’t get under your skin, he’d write his name backward!

...

The innocent netizens had no idea Zhang Beixing was so calculating.

They just saw that a new video had appeared on Zhang Beixing’s homepage and clicked to watch it.

Zhang Beixing’s new work was a segment of surveillance footage.

Judging from the background, it was probably filmed in a classroom.

Zhang Beixing, the subject of their previous discussions, stood in the center.

Opposite him, five men stood, facing him and talking, though what they were saying was inaudible.

WHOOSH—

The sound of wind, added in post-production, drifted through.

A haunting xun melody began, lasting for over ten seconds.

CLANG—

The guzheng suddenly burst forth.

The moment it sounded, Zhang Beixing and the five men, as if by agreement, stopped talking and moved!

The five men grouped together and charged forward.

The BGM added in post-production also became intense at this point.

Zhang Beixing faced the five men, not retreating but advancing.

He weaved among the five, meeting force with force, his techniques fierce and cunning—the signature continuous strikes of the Yue Family Fist.

As he moved, the BGM grew even more vigorous.

Finally, before Zhang Beixing could even complete a full set of the Yue Family Fist, he had, one against five, knocked all five men to the ground.

Only then did the BGM soften, returning to the initial haunting xun melody.

The final shot was Zhang Beixing’s departing silhouette. Then, the video faded to black, and the words ”Yue Family Fist” emerged on the screen.

The netizens stared at these three words, stunned, unable to snap back to reality for a long time.

Then, the comments section absolutely exploded!

They flocked to it, venting the shock in their hearts:

”HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Forgive my lack of culture, but ’holy shit’ says it all!”

”Video content: 1/100. Video soundtrack: 100/100! Full marks for the music!”

”Damn it, watching this video gave me goosebumps! Is the poster a film major? Such badass editing skills!”

”One against five! Brother Beixing is so fierce! Let’s see who dares call his Yue Family Fist flashy but useless now.”

”If this were in real life, I’d definitely slide on my knees to you and beg you to take me as your disciple. But on the internet? Sorry, too flashy!”

”Guys, stop praising him. Look at his pinned comment; he’s being passive-aggressive with us. Don’t boost his ego and diminish our own standing!”

”But still, he fights so cool, so badass! One against five, oh my god, a young Ip Man?”

”Calling him a young Ip Man is going too far. This young lad indeed has real skills, but he also has a very obvious issue: his stance isn’t stable enough! I just slowed down the video, zoomed in, and observed carefully. I noticed this young brother’s footwork is a bit floaty. This floatiness isn’t the ’kidney deficiency’ type of weakness, but rather a lack of groundedness. If the young brother doesn’t address this, should he face someone later, or encounter an expert, it could easily be noticed and exploited, putting him at a disadvantage.”

”Too many words from the commenter above. I’m with him. To put it bluntly, the OP has weak kidneys, right?”

”Awesome, bro! You totally get it!”

”I admit you’re strong, you could probably take on ten of me. But if—if I did a sliding tackle and tripped you, I honestly don’t know how you’d fight back!”

The comments section was bustling.

Every refresh brought seven or eight new comments.

Most were from his existing fans; since the video hadn’t entered the wider traffic pool yet, new viewers hadn’t arrived.

Zhang Beixing scrolled through his phone, checking the comments.

Before long, he saw the one about his unstable lower body.

After reading the reply, Zhang Beixing’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, deep in thought... It wasn’t that he thought the commenter was talking nonsense. On the contrary, after mulling it over, he realized the person was spot on. It hit the nail right on the head!
