170: Chapter 170 Relying on Skill, Not LuckTaking whatever one desires is the most despicable.

Seeing the +11 enhancement he had dreamed of being snatched away right before his eyes, Fu Hao’s frustration was indescribable, but this frustration was quickly healed—

[ ”Strongest 1 Second” Skill Enhancement to +10 successful.]

[ ”Kings Majesty” Skill Enhancement to +10 successful.]

...

When creating the Inner World, all his class skills were wiped, but apart from that, the skills he had accumulated were still not few. He used to regret getting so many useless skills when drawing Margos Protection, but now that he could infinitely enhance skills without Fates Luck, Fu Hao couldn’t help but want to praise his past self.

The abilities that were originally so strong they were called ”Cheat Skills” were upgraded once again, and even the skills that were previously completely useless became practical.

Every time he added a +10 to a new skill, Fu Hao could taste a strong sense of pleasure. Of course, these effects paled in comparison to skills evolved to the Creation rank via Margos Protection, but +10 skills were permanent, and as long as his gold allowed, they could be infinitely enhanced—this was their greatest advantage over temporarily borrowing divine power.

”Let’s stop with the skills here for now.”

What remained were the three major elements: class, level, and attributes, which were also the parts reset when creating the Inner World.

”Leveling up is restricted by hidden item conditions, so it has to be done last. My second class has already been decided, so I’d better restore my attributes first.”

In The Original World, after many twists and turns, Fu Hao became a disciple of Helm and obtained the Legendary Guardian Knight class, but this time he didn’t want to change into that again. The second class he had his eyes on was ”Summoning Master”—this was a taming-type hidden class related to the Dragon Legion breeding program.

If it were The Original World, he might have used the Dragon Knight class change opportunity rewarded from Meis wish quest, or become a disciple of the legendary druid Mr. Antinus, but this was the Inner World. The pinnacle of taming-type hidden classes, ”Summoning Master,” was right before his eyes, and other classes simply didn’t catch his eye.

Classes with the ”Master” title had outrageous strength, and the difficulty of obtaining them was equally insane.

Without the backing of infinite gold and Fates Luck, ”Enhancement Master” would just be a trash class that sounded impressive; Leonhardts ”Weapon Master” was the same, as it actually limited his potential before the second class change, and the difficulty of the second class change process far exceeded other classes.

If not for Leonhardt being determined that this class was suitable for him to stick with to the end, the true power of ”Weapon Master” might never have been revealed.

Precisely because the operation difficulty of ”Master” classes was too high, few players could make a name for themselves with them. Besides Fu Hao and Leonhardt, only the ”Tracking Master” of the elite player Tracker from the Five Great Guilds had a bit of fame.

But lack of fame didn’t mean no one had obtained them. There were actually quite a few classes with the ”Master” title, and there were always players who could overcome the insane acquisition conditions, but in the end, like other Master class owners, they were discouraged by the operation difficulty and switched back to their original classes.

A player once told this to friends and family, and it wasn’t until this hidden item collection competition that it was made public for the first time—he wasn’t doing it for the prize money or attention, but because he felt that someone like Fu Hao, who had super-rank Summoned Beasts despite not having a taming class, might be able to truly unleash the power of ”Summoning Master.”

Just as he wished, Fu Hao chose Summoning Master as his new class. He wasn’t worried about the operation difficulty at all: since he could wield the power of Enhancement Master using infinite gold and Fates Luck, there was no reason he couldn’t master ”Summoning Master” with other hidden items.

The Inner World was already piled with hidden items, so there was no reason for Fu Hao to fail due to operation difficulty. The Master hidden classes in the collection competition included more than just Summoning Master; with his ability, he could maximize any of them, but with the Dragon Legion plan ahead, he had no choice.

After changing to Summoning Master, regardless of whether his Summoned Beasts were +10, he could immediately put the other dragon in his summoning slot and Little Gold to use. Even before stepping into the Teleportation portal to the Inner World, Fu Hao was already unable to hold back his desire to obtain this class.

However, to get Summoning Master, he had to unlock the summoning system first, so he had to put it aside and go pick up other hidden items first.

”Summoning Master doesn’t mean I have to be weak myself.” Besides the Dragon Legion, Fu Hao also intended to train his attributes to the point where he could at least slap a dragon—a master couldn’t be unable to control his own Summoned Beast, right?

The next day, having slept for 6 hours and recovered half his stamina, Fu Hao started his stream at the Boer Kingdom training grounds.

- ”You streamed for two nights in a row, and you started streaming again after only 6 hours of sleep?”

- ”Can your body take it?”

- ”Your stamina is really good!”

- ”Rachel has already farmed 300 hidden titles!”

- ”Brother Hao, hurry up and sync your progress with Leonhardt!”

- ”Hurry up and think of a way to deal with the monsters, if this keeps up, everyone will die.”

As soon as Fu Hao started the stream, the viewer count soared—nowadays, players had no heart to play themselves; most were glued to the streams of Fu Hao or Rachel.

”Today, just as the title says, I am officially starting to collect hidden items.”

Among the 7 players in the Inner World, Fu Hao currently had the fewest hidden items.

Not counting the Enhancement Master he brought from The Original World, he had only obtained a ”Consumption Conversion” skill in the last two days. Compared to others who easily had hundreds of hidden titles, the gap was obvious, but he wasn’t anxious at all—would a cheetah panic just because it had a slow start?

”What are you here for?” the fierce-looking soldier asked.

”To participate in the recruit test.” Fu Hao said calmly.

He came to the Boer Kingdom training grounds to participate in the ”recruit test,” which was restricted to players level 50 and below.

This was considered an extended version of the tutorial, used to improve beginners’ combat operation proficiency, but since there were ”records,” there were hidden titles related to high scores—a full 17 types, with one corresponding to each test.

One test could yield up to 17 hidden items, taking about 20 minutes in total, which worked out to 0.85 per minute, an outrageously high efficiency, even in the Inner World where hidden items were everywhere.

Of course, the prerequisite was completing the conditions for those 17 nearly impossible hidden titles. The difficulty was so high that even Leonhardt, who was top-tier in physical and mental ability, probably couldn’t get them all, and when Leonhardt challenged it, the hidden title conditions hadn’t been revealed, so even if he had tried, he could have at most obtained three or four.

But Fu Hao was completely unafraid. He was only level 1 now, and his attributes were still in the single digits, but he had +10 skills as his foundation.

”Start!”

The first test was to attack the weak points of block golems that had physical immunity using a sword. Dealing with 20 golems in a row, the weak point of each would randomly appear in one of 10 parts, and could only be confirmed by slashing with a sword.

This test was originally meant for practicing multi-angle attacks and countering attacks, but the hidden title condition was completely unrelated: [First to achieve the ”One-Hit Kill All Block Golems” achievement].

The players who had obtained this title before relied entirely on luck, having nothing to do with operation or mental ability.

But Fu Hao didn’t plan to rely on luck.

Type: Passive

Rank: Legendary

* When an attack hits an enemys weak point, it is guaranteed to trigger a critical hit, dealing the weapons maximum damage.

* Weakness critical damage +30%

* Weakness critical damage +30%

* Weakness critical damage +30%

* When using an aiming skill, it is guaranteed to hit the enemys weak point.

Relying on skills, not luck—this was Fu Haos answer.
