154: Chapter 154 Leonhardt’s ActivitiesEven failing to protect the small Endel Kingdom caused players’ trust in The Seven Legends to plummet. Although there were variables like Fu Hao’s absence and imperial pressure, bearing the title of ”World’s Strongest” while offering no decent response, and watching the first kingdom created by players perish, was truly disappointing.

However, the strength of the ”World’s Strongest” did not vanish because of this.

Relying on the +10 teleportation gem, The Seven Legends arrived directly at the border of the Demon Realm, instantly turning the tide of a battle that had even left Aria in a passive position.

Considering that the demons invading the human realm numbered at least hundreds of thousands, if not millions, the performance of The Seven Legends could be called a miracle—they already had a suppressive effect on the demons, and with the addition of Holy Power, their combat strength was comparable to an Over-Rank Dragon.

Among them, the most eye-catching were Helm and Mr. Antinus: the Legendary Knight Helm, relying solely on his own strength, split the tide-like demons in two; the Legendary Druid Mr. Antinus summoned thousands of Mythical Rank Summoned Beasts, blocking the brainless charge of the demons. The other legends also performed their respective duties, sparing no effort to protect humanity.

The performance of The Seven Legends far exceeded Patem’s expectations, which naturally had to be attributed to Fu Hao—he had upgraded the entire equipment set of The Seven Legends, who were already overpowered, to +10, causing their firepower to surge more than fourfold compared to ten years ago.

Of course, it wasn’t just The Seven Legends who shone. Leonhardt and Yongyuan, who arrived together by chance, also displayed strength not inferior to the legends.

In terms of level, the two were far behind The Seven Legends, but they possessed hidden items unique to players, which were enough to bridge the gap.

Yongyuan, who had once ascended to the position of Elf King, possessed multiple Mythical Rank elemental spirits—these spirits were not the low-level Mythical Rank Summoned Beasts like those of Jinton back in the day, but existences that had reached at least the level of The Seven Legends.

They might not be useful when facing an Over-Rank Dragon, but they were more than enough to deal with demons that were at most Legendary Rank. Moreover, Yongyuan excelled at wide-area magic attacks, with a range even wider than ”Pegasus,” so no matter how many demons there were, it wasn’t a problem.

Leonhardt was the opposite; his solo combat ability was outstanding, but he was not as good as other top players in large-scale battles.

However, during the time Fu Hao was busy resolving the World Tree’s rampage and lifting the Growth Curse, he completed his long-awaited ”Weapon Master Second Class Transfer.”

The difficulty of this class transfer quest was monstrous, and the rewards were equally absurd: the original fatal flaw of the Weapon Master was the inability to use combat skills. After the second class transfer, not only was the restriction lifted, but he could also learn all weapon-related combat skills without limits, which could be called compensation—he didn’t even need to obtain the other party’s consent; as long as he witnessed the skill being activated, he could automatically learn it.

Although Fu Hao’s ”Teaching of the Strong” skill was powerful, it could only be used once a week, and only once per NPC. In contrast, Leonhardt’s new skill had no restrictions and could even learn from players, which was simply absurd.

”Earth Shatter!”

The Legendary Knight Helm used Fu Hao’s signature skill, ”Earth Shatter,” overturning the ground;

”Storm Arrow!”

The Legendary Archer Urs’s signature skill, ”Storm Arrow,” pierced the skulls of countless demons;

”God of Thunder Descends!”

The Legendary Priest Coleman’s signature skill, ”God of Thunder Descends,” paralyzed the demons, rendering them unable to move.

If such absolute-level skills were continuously abused, mana and stamina would quickly be exhausted, but don’t forget that Leonhardt had another identity—the disciple of the Legendary Artifact Craftsman Loki.

For him, methods for infinite recharging were as numerous as the hairs on an ox.

”So cool...” Yongyuan paid no attention to her own performance or that of The Seven Legends, only drooling as she admired Leonhardt’s heroic posture.

Fortunately, the elemental Summoned Beasts could fight automatically, so she didn’t need to command them in real-time—the demons were currently charging brainlessly like a huge mass of flesh, requiring no tactical coordination, which allowed her to watch Leonhardt’s historic performance up close.

”...I finally understand why Fu Hao can’t grab the top spot.” Another player, who had stopped fighting monsters to stare at Leonhardt, muttered to himself. Leonhardt’s bravery at this moment seemed to surpass that of +10 Xiao Jin. All players witnessing this scene felt the same.

The players participating in this God-Demon War were not just Leonhardt and Yongyuan.

The two of them had arrived at the border of the Demon Realm using a +10 teleportation gem, but many top players had already flocked here—this was a result of the Five Great Guilds, Philip, and Fu Hao breaking through the Demon Realm’s barrier as if climbing over their own garden fence, and live-streaming the entire process.

These players were originally afraid of the mountain-like demons due to the hidden items in the surprise quest rewards, yet they couldn’t bear to leave (the quest stated that the more demons killed, the better the hidden items obtained), but most top players quickly gave up on the hidden items and turned to live-streaming the battles of The Seven Legends, Leonhardt, and Yongyuan.

They knew very well that with their meager strength, rushing up would just be serving themselves on a platter, but the popularity brought by live-streaming was real: players who learned the news of the God-Demon War instantly caused the viewer counts of these previously unknown or small-to-medium streamers to skyrocket to tens of thousands.

- ”Leonhardt is using Earth Shatter? Holy crap!”

- ”The next time he fights Fu Hao, it will definitely be spectacular!”

- ”Heh, it would be better if they didn’t fight~”

- ”So Yongyuan really was an Elf King!”

- ”Isn’t Helm a bit too strong on his own?”

- ”The scene is a complete mess, hahaha!”

Fu Hao was also watching the live broadcast of the God-Demon War from the Divine Realm. Although it was a bit troublesome because players were often killed by demons, requiring him to change channels frequently, and Leonhardt and Yongyuan hadn’t started live broadcasts, he just had to endure it.

”...Leonhardt is ridiculously strong. I thought he was just cooped up in the lab doing research all this time.”

Fu Hao once again realized how deep the foundation of the top ranker was. His growth rate had been faster than ever recently, yet he still hadn’t taken the first spot on the combat power ranking. Seeing Leonhardt’s performance, his doubts were finally resolved.

”It’s Helm’s skill, then Urs’s, then Coleman’s... is there really no limit to learning skills?”

Leonhardt’s current performance was already godly enough, but Fu Hao was more afraid of what would come next—he knew too well how absurd ”copying others’ skills” was.

He could learn at most two or three NPC skills a week relying on ”Teaching of the Strong,” but Leonhardt looked like he could learn infinitely. In terms of ”skill” growth speed alone, he had already been completely surpassed.

”But well, it’s better than the human realm suffering.” Fu Hao tried to look on the bright side. Being trapped in the Divine Realm unable to grow, and watching Leonhardt advance by leaps and bounds, was indeed uncomfortable, but it was still better than the human realm being ravaged by demons.

”But why did the demons dare to start the God-Demon War?” After the battle situation stabilized, Fu Hao began to ponder the reason for the war.

With players comparable to legends like The Seven Legends, Leonhardt, and Yongyuan, plus the subsequent support of two hundred heroes and the army, driving the demons back to the Demon Realm was just a matter of time.

Even if the Demon Kings hadn’t appeared yet, they couldn’t make waves in front of Holy Power and the strengthened Seven Legends.

Normally, large-scale wars are only launched when there is a more than 90% chance of winning; the current situation simply didn’t make sense. The more Fu Hao watched the demons throwing their lives away, the more he felt they were hiding something, but trapped in the Divine Realm, he couldn’t do anything and could only continue to watch.

Two weeks later.

”Was I overthinking it?”

Fu Hao’s worries became superfluous—the second God-Demon War ended in an overwhelming victory for humanity, and the momentum of the victory was so strong that some even suggested taking advantage of the situation to invade the Demon Realm.
