Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 50: Chapter 49:, !

>

>

.....

I held my breath in anticipation as the familiar black mist wafted out of my body, going to cover the bisected corpse of the creature before me, the gigantic mass of flesh vanishing slowly within..

And then..

>

>

>

”That’s a lot of energy from one creature” I couldn’t help whistling..

It seems all that’s said about dragons being natural mana reactors was right.

One should know, CE is 100x more potent than mana, so such an amount was ridiculously high for a creature that wasn’t even a full fledged S-rank...

”These lizards are definitely playing on a different wavelength..” I muttered softly...

The notifications continuing without pause..

>

More attributes, to be fair, my stats were already high and yet I feel like I had yet to put them to good use, overly reliant on my talents and skills.

”Though to be fair, the things I’ve faced till now, rendered high stats nearly negligible”.. the dragon had cloaked itself in atmospheric pressure, negating any physical force, whilst the demon had been an absolute pest with its regeneration...

”Sigh... whatever I guess, carry on..”

Saying so I refocused on the cascading notifications...

>

.....

That drew a pause..

This was it, my first SS-rank bloodline, yes I know my aunt had just dropped the bombshell that it wasn’t anything more than a mortal rank bloodline, but nevertheless, the awe from hearing about it all my life was something difficult to just get over.

So witnessing the acquisition of my first SS-rank bloodline, despite its rank clearly being an effect of its lack of purity, felt like a milestone achievement..

....

The World seemed to slow as I watched notifications cascade like waterfalls, their content utterly ridiculous..

”Soo many SS-rank abilities..”

I was star struck, wasn’t this cheating at this point? With this much power stacking, how the hell did I even succeed in taking this thing down?

”It seems I’ve been underestimating just how much saved my ass back then”. I was sure, if that fight had gone on longer that it did, I’d have been cooked, because this wasn’t even the worst of it all.

The reason for that being because, this was a bloodline that was only a 50% pure Draconic bloodline ..

So what the flipping hell would a Pure bloodline look like?

My system cared not for my troubles as it continued on like nothing was strange..

[DING]

....

What was a Draconic bloodline without a physique to match?..

”Fuck.....”

I couldn’t speak...

This one seemed even more absurd than the bloodline..

It didn’t feel like anything I should’ve been able to contend with..

Not at all.

But before I could even begin to spiral, I could’ve swore I heard my system say

’You thought it was over? Think again...”

[DING!]

[You have acquired the talent ...

”Of course.. because why not? As if the bloodline and physique weren’t ridiculous enough..”

I had to stop here..

I couldn’t go further, I wasn’t sure I was ready for anymore stimulation, because just what the hell did I just receive?

There was no way in hell that these were the attributes of the freaking dragon I defeated.

I had no business defeating anything with those horrifying abilities..

I didn’t even want to check out their descriptions, just the names alone told me enough..

”Just how the hell did I defeat such a monster?” I was beginning to doubt the whole thing..

”Unless...” unless the creature hadn’t yet unlocked all these abilities tied it its bloodline and physique..

That had to be it, after all, the thing had only just begun its evolution into a true dragon, so most of these abilities were either entirely Locked out or severely weakened to barely a percentage of their full functionality..

Because, there was no way I am deluding myself into believing I could’ve defeated this thing at full power...

Not at the rank I was at..

It didn’t matter how busted my attributes were, it didn’t matter how busted became, I was sure I’d have been nothing but an ant if this thing had evolved fully..

”Alright then... let’s see just how horrible things truly could’ve gotten for me..”

:

Description:-

A high-tier draconic bloodline derived from a Storm Dragon of 50% purity. This bloodline grants its wielder inherent authority over atmospheric forces, amplifying storm-based abilities and enforcing dominance over lesser elemental control. It serves as the core amplifier for all storm and atmospheric-related talents.

━━━━━━━━━━

[Passive Effects]

• StormAuthority

- Grants innate dominance over atmospheric forces.

- Suppresses external control over wind, lightning, and pressure-based phenomena.

- Increases effectiveness of all storm-based abilities.

• Tyrant’sDomain

- Establishes a natural field of influence over surrounding atmospheric space.

- Weakens resistance of enemies within range against storm and pressure-based attacks.

- Enhances user’s control within contested environments.

• TempestAmplification

- Multiplies output of storm, lightning, and wind-based abilities.

- Enhances scale, intensity, and destructive capacity of all related skills.

- Converts excess energy into additional environmental influence.

• AtmosphericSovereignty

- Grants priority control over ambient atmospheric forces in overlapping domains.

- Reduces effectiveness of opposing atmospheric manipulation.

- Stabilizes large-scale environmental control.

• DraconicResonance

- Enhances synergy between physique, talent, and energy systems.

- Increases efficiency of energy usage for storm-based abilities.

- Improves adaptation to high-output combat scenarios.

━━━━━━━━━━

[Unique Passive]

• Tyrant’sSuppression

- Applies constant pressure on all entities within range.

- Reduces mobility, reaction speed, and energy flow of weaker opponents.

- Strength scales with user’s intent and output.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

[Additional Effects]

- Significantly boosts compatibility with atmospheric and lightning-based talents.

- Enhances resistance to environmental hazards and storm backlash.

- Increases overall combat efficiency in high-pressure environments.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

[Warning]

- Bloodline authority is proportional to user strength.

- Inefficient control may lead to energy instability.

- Rapidly restores moderate physical injuries and internal damage.

- Slower regeneration rate for severe structural damage and limb loss.

- Improves recovery from physical strain and energy overload.

━━━━━━━━━━

[Unique Passive]

• Tyrant’s Gravity Well

- Emits a constant high-density pressure field around the user.

- Suppresses movement, breathing, and energy flow of surrounding targets.

- Scales in intensity with the user’s output and emotional state.

- Weakens enemies lacking sufficient resistance or durability.

━━━━━━━━━━

[Additional Effects]

- Significantly increases compatibility with storm, lightning, and atmospheric-based talents and abilities.

”Fuck... Aunt V, are you sure this is supposed to be a Mortal Rank bloodline and physique?” I couldn’t help asking, because nothing felt ”Mortal” about the abilities I’ve just read..

But if this truly was what a ”Mortal” grade bloodline gives, and one that’s not even at the peak of that grade, then what in actual fuck do people with bloodlines higher than this get?

”Fuck my life...” I couldn’t help cursing for the nth time today, because truly, just what the hell is this shit??

A/N: and there you have it, just as promised, an additional Chapter to celebrate our power stone goal..

I’d have loved if we went higher than this, seems like we backtracked from last week’s 150+ not to even talk of the golden tickets, but nevertheless thanks for your support...

The goals for next week remain the same..

Don’t forget to join the discord channel and chat with others and me there..
