Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 26: Chapter 25:Asura Bloodline(S)

[Ding]

[You have slain: Demon (C)]

[You have received 300,000 EXP]

[Ding]

[You have slain an existence with a [PERFECTED]corrupted core... You have received 3,000,000 EXP...]

[Cross tier kill detected EXP GAIN +300%]

....

”What?”

I was stunned..

What were those numbers?

300k exp? For a C-rank? That couldn’t be right..

A normal C-rank creature gave 800 exp at best, uncommon gave you twice that figure, elite 5x and boss 10x..

Even if the creature had a [PERFECT] mutation, it’d give at most 10x a boss tier’s..

But this single demon alone gave me over 300k exp..

Isn’t this the universe just announcing to me that demons were truly the most lucrative targets?

”And what the hell is a corrupted core?” I had no idea..

Were they the equivalent to a beasts mutation? Was that why this demon felt significantly stronger? Was that the reason it could stay within a significantly lower leveled dungeon?

All these questions swirled in dizzying circles within my head..

”Well, we’ll just ask aunt v when she comes back” I shook the thought away..

”But damn, 3m exp? And added to that a 300% bonus? At this rate, the E-rank might as well not exist for me”.. I sighed...

3.3m exp..300%..

That, added to my already high exp reserves? I doubt even those lineage monsters are this fast...

”Fwooo...alright then, time for the main event..”

”System can you convert all future devoured attributes to free attribute points?”

[Ding]

[Change acknowledged]

Now one would ask, why such a decision?

The answer is simple, I want to make good use of my CLASSLESS distinction..

The autonomy of being able to distribute my stats at will was an invaluable advantage, one I intend to take full advantage of..

”Now, time for the main event” I said, rubbing my hands excitedly...

”Devour”..

...>>

”Woah”..

I wasn’t expecting that..

A whopping 1500 free attributes? Added to that a freaking S-rank bloodline?

One should know, barring my that is mostly passive and considering the other two were sealed tighter than the imperial treasury, this was effectively my first acive bloodline..

”Once again, the devouring dao proves to be the most broken path out there..” I laughed. But before my satisfaction could even settle...

[Chaotic Adaptation activating...]

”Wha..?”

[DING!]

[You have acquired: Warborn Regeneration(S)

You have acquired: Adaptive Combat Evolution(S)

You have acquired: Pain Conversion(S)

You have acquired: Battle continuity(S)]

[DING]

[Bloodline: successfully assimilated]

:

Bloodline assimilation:

Current No of assimilated bloodlines: 3

Current % effectiveness boost: 300%

.....

That was intense..

It seems my body wouldn’t allow the demonic bloodline free reign, taking all that made the bloodline what it was and adapting it to my physique, whilst successfully assimilated it to increase my effectiveness..

”I guess this is just as well, keep myself pure but with all the added bonuses”...

Now, it was time to see what I finally got..

Status..

:

A bloodline belonging to the Warborn Asura—beings forged in endless battle.

This lineage grants its bearer the ability to evolve through combat, regenerate from fatal injuries, and convert pain into power.

For the Asura, battle is not survival.

It is ascension.

[ABILITIES]

◆ Warborn Regeneration (S)

Grants high-speed regeneration of all physical damage, including internal organs and skeletal structure.

• Regeneration speed increases relative to severity of injury

• Near-fatal damage triggers accelerated recovery response

• Sustained damage will continuously stimulate regenerative output

[Note: Excessive regeneration places strain on stamina and energy reserves]

◆ Adaptive Combat Evolution (S)

Allows the body to evolve dynamically in response to combat stimuli.

• Repeated exposure to attacks reduces incoming damage

• Muscle density, reflexes, and durability improve during battle

• Adapts to enemy attack patterns, movement, and combat flow

[Note: Adaptation requires exposure time. Instant immunity is not granted]

◆ Pain Conversion (S)

Transforms physical damage and pain into temporary enhancements.

• Increases strength, speed, and durability proportional to damage received

• Effects stack during continuous combat

• Peak output achieved under extreme stress conditions

[Warning: Excessive accumulation may destabilize mental state]

◆ Battle Continuity (S)

Overrides standard physical limitations during combat.

• Maintains combat capability despite critical injuries

• Suppresses physical shutdown responses during battle

• Allows continued movement and action under lethal conditions

[Note: Post-battle backlash includes fatigue, internal damage, and system strain]

[Passive]

◆ Asura Instinct

A natural combat instinct embedded within the bloodline.

• Enhances reaction speed and battle awareness

• Enables subconscious prediction of enemy actions

• Improves combat efficiency over time

[Overall Effect]

The bearer becomes a self-evolving combat entity.

The longer the battle persists, the stronger the bearer becomes.

[DING!]

[System Analysis]

This bloodline exhibits high compatibility with Host’s existing abilities.

Synergistic amplification detected with:

• Chaotic Adaptation

• Chaotic Comprehension

• Chaos Healing

[Result: Accelerated evolution, enhanced regeneration efficiency, and increased adaptation speed]

*********

”Damn no wonder that thing was damn near unkillable”..

I was struck speechless..

What sort of atrocious bloodline was this? The more you fought the stronger you got?

If I didn’t have and during that fight, forget the fact that my stats were absurdly high, that thing could’ve really adapted and defeated me...

”Ha..hahahahahaha...” I laughed...

”HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...” and laughed...

”This is fucking great....”

Such an already atrocious bloodline, and now it’s mine..

Because just as the system said, with my already broken set of abilities, adding these would just be giving wings to a tiger..

All the side effects of this bloodline were essentially reduced to irrelevance by , and .. and when you couple in , and ,...

”I could obliterate that demon in one single punch, and this time, so thoroughly that even it’s regeneration wouldn’t be able to put it back together”.. that was scary, all that damage done without even bothering to add the broken concept of that ignores your defenses and just unmakes you?

”Once again I realize just how utterly unfair I’m becoming”..

And I was loving every minute of it...

”Now then, I guess it’s time for me to rank up...”

With the miscellaneous done..

My power up completed..

It was time for me to step into the next rank..

But before I could complete the thought..
