Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 43: Chapter 42:Draken Ancient Family...

”Ughh...” I groaned softly as the morning sun kissed my face gently, stirring me from my slumber...

My eyes opened up slowly, taking in the surrounding, the weight on my chest drawing my attention.

I looked down, only to find my aunt raven already up, her soft gaze boring into me, a teasing smile on her face..

”Soooo..” she drawled, ”how do you feel, now that you’ve finally succeeded in devouring your helpless aunt” she teased.

Unfortunately for her, I wasn’t some beta male about to let her get a win..

Smack...

Ahhnnn~~~~

A soft smack on her ass drew a soft moan from her lips, her body jerking softly as my member finally withdrew from her warmth..

”That should teach you to tease me so much aunt V..” I snickered.

She pouted cutely, got up and dragged me into the bathroom for a refreshing morning bath, of course not without some ”tomfoolery” in-between..

*********

”Are you going to ask or are you going to keep pretending to not care..” Aunt Raven’s voice broke the soft silence lingering between us..

We were back on the bed, fresh out the bath yet too lazy to bother getting dressed for anything..

Her head currently rested on my chest as she asked with a soft voice.

My gaze was withdrawn from the ceiling I’d Been staring at..

”It depends aunt v..” my hand wrapped softly around her waist, pulling her closer.

”How much are you willing to tell me?” I finished..

Based on the normal troupe, this should be where she starts saying things in cryptic manners, trying to sound mysterious..

I wasn’t in the mood to start racking my head over puzzles, so instead of cryptic hints, I’d rather nothing at all..

”All that I’m knowledgeable of Dante.. all that I know. That you need. You can ask... After all, like it or not, you’ll still be touching upon those answers soon” her serious reply drew my eyes to her.

She was looking at me, this time her eyes serious.

”Alright aunt v..” I drew in a deep breath..

Before any world shaking news.

Before any identity crisis.

There was one thing I needed to know.

”Who, truly, was my father?” I asked, voice tight.

I needed to know, just who was my father.

No. I didn’t believe the mystery was with my mother. Why? Because that old man, from whatever memories a five year old could have, always carried himself like he was more..

So, at this moment in time, I needed to know exactly what type of crazy history I had..

Turned out my old man’s identity was a more world shaking news than anything I’d thought possible..

”Your father.. My brother. Was Regulus von Draken, heir to the illustrious Draken Ancient Family..”

Because the moment Aunt Raven answered, I froze...

My eyes widened slowly as the words registered in my head..

Forget the fact that this woman I’d so affectionately dubbed ”aunt” because of her closeness to my parents, was in fact MY biological aunt..

What threw me off was the fact that my old man, that strict yet warm old stick that was scared of mother, was from THAT FAMILY?

But she wasn’t done.. No. She wasn’t..

”He was the greatest talent the family had ever seen.. a talent said to have been even greater than the founding father of our family.” She concluded...

My incredulous gaze found her serious eyes.

The unsaid questions burning clearly..

”Yes little Dante.. it is that same Draken Ancient Family that you’re thinking about..”

Silence...

Absolute silence...

There was nothing I could say.

This was maddening..

I’d expected some illustrious background..

Some cliche story about some powerful family that abandoned our family for some dumb reasons.

Not this.

Not that my father was ONE OF THEM!!

Now one would think I was exaggerating..

I wasn’t..

Because if it was the Draken Ancient Family I was thinking about...

That breeding ground for monsters??

The one said to have SSS-rank powerhouses as common as normal people? That Draken Family?

The one rumored to have entities wielding talents surpassing SSS-rank? That Draken Ancient Family?

The one said to get their high off of Dragon Hunting..

Dragon.. Bloody.. Hunting..

The only family that turned the apex creatures of the world, creatures demons tread with utmost caution around, into their prey and source of strength???

That Draken Ancient Family????

A family said to have each and every one of their members wielding 2 or more bloodlines?? Each bloodline no lower than SS-rank?? With their prodigies wielding more than 3 of such or more powerful bloodlines at once?? THAT DRAKEN ANCIENT FAMILY????

It is said that every member of the Draken Ancient Family, had a dragon’s blood assimilated together with their original bloodlines, making them not fully human, not fully dragon, yet more powerful than both ever could be...

On terra, there were very few forces that stood at the peak of this world.

Powers that ”held the peace” between terrans and the demons...

The Draken Ancient Family, stood above these very powers..

They stood at a peak and precipice most wouldn’t even be able to fathom...

And yet, now, I was being told that my own origins trace back to this family? And not just tracing back, my very own father was the greatest talent this family had ever seen? A supposed heir?

”Fuck....” That’s all I could utter..

I was stunned.. utterly and completely stunned..

”Ho..how?” I couldn’t articulate myself properly...

”How could such a person have been killed by demons?” She guessed easily my question..

I nodded, still reeling..

Her expression turned cold, pain and rage flashing through her eyes..

When she responded, her voice was cold. Colder than I’d ever heard from her..

”What else. If not politics, betrayal and too old family traditions that sent my beloved brother to an early grave..”

”What..?”

”Your father’s death, it wasn’t an accident.. far from it, it was an orchestrated effort..

One that had the hands of demons, dragons, our very own nemesis and..” here, pain flared in her eyes.. ”his very own blood plotting against him.”

My mind chilled..

”Your father died due to the plotting of people within his own family.. Dante, your father died because of the bloody DRAKEN ANCIENT FAMILY”...

The world seemed to pause at that moment..

Everything vanished..

Snap!!

Something seemed to have snapped within me..

I couldn’t focus on that, because at this moment..

All that remained in my head was that final declaration..

”Your father died because of the bloody DRAKEN ANCIENT FAMILY”...

My blood sped..

Heart racing...

My eyes turned blood red.

[Bloodline(sealed) is reacting]

A malevolent aura burst out of me, drowning the entire surroundings in a bloody red haze, the weight of the world crashing down as the entire building shook...

”WHAT!!!!!!”

*******

A/N: hmmmm... could be better..
