Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Runes lit up all across the Leonard, shimmering with golden light as a visible golden barrier materialized around the ship.

”Hahaha, kill them!”

”It’s been a while since we’ve had some action. My hands are getting itchy.”

”...”

Meanwhile, on the other side, Inar simultaneously activated a Rune Array. Over a hundred sailors raised their firearms, aiming at the pirates on the Leonard, ready to open fire at a moment’s notice.

Seeing this, Antonella’s expression turned even uglier. ”Ronan, please, hold your fire for a moment. He’s just...”

Before she could finish, Ronan cut her off. ”You’ve been given a choice! If you don’t want to die, then shut your mouth and wait for the outcome!”

If this were his old ship, the *Ronan*, he would have had to compare their strengths. But on the Leonard, the power of its Rune Array was more than enough to handle any Extraordinary below the Director Level.

”Grego, open fire!”

The gunners, who had been waiting for the command, pulled the levers of the mechanical cannons with all their might.

BOOM! BOOM!

”Fire!”

Inar swung his arm, signaling the sailors to attack, while he himself charged toward the cannonballs. ”Ban Jie, Gel!”

As he activated his Extraordinary trait, the clothes on his shoulders ripped apart. In the next second, four limbs, each over ten meters long, spiraled out. They resembled spider legs, covered in fine black fuzz and gleaming with a deep black light.

”Sever!”

Four black streaks slashed through the air, splitting the cannonballs in two. The sundered projectiles boomed past the three-masted ship behind him and splashed down in the distant sea.

Ronan stared at the limbs surrounding Inar and said coldly, ”Continue!”

’This is bad,’

’At my level, I’m afraid I can’t beat that bastard!’

’Captain, if you don’t get here soon, I’m going to bring shame to the Leonard...’

RUMBLE... RUMBLE...

Supported in mid-air by two of his spider legs, Inar used the other two to continuously bat away the cannonballs. He said coldly, ”It’s useless. It doesn’t matter how many of these you fire. Second Officer Ronan, if your captain doesn’t show up soon, I’m taking my men and leaving!”

”You—”

”Are you looking for me?”

Hearing that voice, all the anger vanished from Ronan’s face. ”Captain!”

The newcomers were none other than Wei’en and Clelia, who had received the news.

Wei’en’s Spirit perception spread out, reflecting everything around them clearly in his mind.

”Are they enemies?”

”Captain, yes and no...” Ronan looked utterly ashamed. ”Originally, we were trying to plunder them...”

”Uh... so you mean you failed to plunder them and almost got beaten up instead?”

”Y-yes.”

Wei’en chuckled. ”Then you really are useless.”

Hearing this, Clelia couldn’t help but laugh as well. ”Triangle Eyes, your skills are pretty pathetic.”

”My apologies, Captain, First Officer.” Ronan was even more overwhelmed with shame. ”I-it’s my fault.”

”Forget it...”

Just then, Inar spoke up. ”So you’re the one who killed Captain Henrik? But you’re not red-haired?”

He sized up Wei’en and Clelia, who had just appeared on the deck. Although he wondered where they had popped out from, he saw they were just two young people, and the woman was only at the Minister level...

”You don’t look the part. You’re not an imposter, are you?”

”Yes, I am indeed an imposter,” Wei’en said, a faint smile on his face. It wasn’t a lie; he was, after all, using Marco’s face. ”Do you wish to continue?”

”Hmph! I don’t care if you work for that Red-haired Captain or not, there’s no way I’m agreeing to your demands... In any case, I’m leaving now. I suggest you don’t try to stop me!”

”Demands? Ronan, what demands did you make?” Wei’en asked, raising an eyebrow.

”According to the rules...” Ronan whispered a few sentences, briefly explaining what had happened. ”That female captain agreed, but this guy refused and even fought back...”

”Mm.” Wei’en glanced at Antonella, then patted Ronan’s shoulder. ”You did nothing wrong.”

”I...”

”Alright, leave the rest to me. Hmm, Clelia, the people on that ship are yours to deal with. Just leave their captain to me.”

”As you command, Captain Wei’en.” Clelia gave Wei’en a charming look. ’It’s so nice not having to call him Captain Marco anymore.’

”You people...”

A vicious look flashed in Inar’s eyes. ”Kill them!”

Immediately, the sailors opened fire on Wei’en and the others.

Wei’en watched the bullets fly toward him, completely unconcerned. A Magic Staff appeared in his hand, and with a light wave, he called, ”Secret Master.”

”Ya, Lisi, Tengke!”

The Secret Master solemnly shouted the phrase in the Gonzalez language. Four massive Rune Arrays materialized around the Leonard. After a ghostly blue light flashed along the patterns of the Arrays, a pillar of light shot down into the sea.

The seawater around the pillar of light instantly began to boil. Amidst the rising waves, four creatures made of seawater took form—they stood a full four meters tall and were a ghostly blue all over. Their eyes were like inward-spinning whirlpools, each containing a ball of fluorescent light. They possessed only a pair of hands, their lower bodies connected to the sea’s surface like flowing waterfalls.

”An Elemental Mage from the Spiritual Mystery School?!”
