Warhammer Divine Throne

”Enemy attack! Hu-humans are ambushing!” The remaining Storm Rats reacted, screeching, ”No, no! Bell~ ring, ring the bell!”

”Ring the bell!” The remaining five Storm Rats immediately rushed towards the big bell on the other side of the square.

”Open fire! Quickly, open fire! Don’t let these rats ring the bell!” In desperation, Veronica shouted loudly, ”Fire quickly, soldiers!”

”Yes!” The Mackensen Musketeers opened fire together, and the white musket barrage instantly engulfed these five Storm Rats.

The first Storm Rat was hit in the head, its head burst open, and it sluggishly reached to touch its own head, only to find it missing.

The second Storm Rat was hit continuously in the chest and fell dead on the spot.

The third and fourth Storm Rats were swallowed by the musket barrage, their bodies disintegrating in the air into broken pieces.

However, the fifth Storm Rat deftly hid behind its companion, avoiding the volley of muskets. It continued to screech loudly, charging towards the bell: ”Yes, yes! Ring, ring the bell! The Great Horned Rat will punish you little humans!”

”There’s still one left! Target it!” Imperial Captain Huber shouted to the musketeers. Most of the musketeers had already used up the bullets in their barrels, and the remaining shots were cleverly dodged by the Storm Rat as it gradually approached the bell.

Five meters, four meters, three meters.

Now, even Surya’s face showed an anxious expression.

”Bang!” Abel opened fire, the Demon Hunter pulled the trigger, and bullets spewed from the fire cannon in his hand.

”Pop!” The Storm Rat was hit in the right leg, stumbling and falling to the ground. Then a musket bullet hit its back, piercing through its armor, and it fell two meters away from the bell.

Did it succeed? Almost all the survivors’ hearts were in their throats!

”For the Great Horned Rat!” The Storm Rat, severely injured, clung to life with its last will. Its scarlet eyes rolled as it suddenly grabbed its long halberd and threw it towards the bell!

”Dong~” The halberd struck the bell, and the bell rang!

”Dong~ Dong~ Dong~” In less than three seconds after the bell in the square started ringing, the burning, smoke-engulfed Hemgart spread from the square as the center, with bell sounds echoing in many places throughout the city!

”Yes~ yes...” The Storm Rat heard the bell, stretched out its legs, and died on the spot.

It’s bad! Everyone’s faces instantly turned pale.

Countless chaotic footsteps, the squeaks of the Ratmen, began to pour in from all directions!

”Prepare for battle! Prepare for battle!” Imperial Captain Huber called out loudly, gripping the sharp sword in his hand, ”Soldiers! Prepare to face the rat tide!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the ground began trembling, and the wall of a building was directly destroyed by some colossal creature. Amid the collapsing wall, a monster over four meters tall appeared before everyone. Apart from having a giant rat head, its body was formed from twisted limbs of other creatures, its skin covered with stitch marks. This Giant Beast grabbed two civilians, tearing them to pieces with its hands, then feasting greedily on the delicious human flesh!

”It’s a Rat Giant!” Veronica shouted, ”Musketeers, shoot!”

The Rat Giant took several bullets but didn’t feel pain. On the contrary, this monster’s dragon vehicle-like charge smashed through the human’s painstakingly built defense line. Two soldiers were slapped into the air and crashed into a house wall, shattering into pieces, while refugees and militiamen scattered in despair.

”Doomsday is here!” ”We’re finished!”

”Charlemagne above, please save us!”

At the same time, a tsunami-like rat tide was approaching, with waves formed by thousands of Skaven Ratmen already surrounding the group of survivors!

The survivors were trapped in a dire situation!
