Warhammer Divine Throne

”Kuga doesn’t follow orders?” It seemed to confirm something as it asked the Maintainer, Isis, once more.

”Yes, the War Leader insists that the opponent is the Divine Chosen Champion of Slaanesh.” The Spirit Lizard Priest repeated, just as the Lizardman Warrior absolutely obeyed the Spirit Lizard Priest, the Spirit Lizard Priest also absolutely obeyed the Demon Toad.

Mazda Moody nodded and raised its Magic Staff.

A massive whirlpool of Mana enveloped all the armies in the Temple Square, and Mazda Moody began searching for Kuga’s whereabouts in the Subspace.

Endless Chaos Energy and whirlpool rolled and surged in the Subspace, Mazda Moody could hear the mockery and whispers of the Evil God, yet any Chaos Demon attempting to approach the will of the Demon Toad was instantly vaporized.

It quickly located Kuga’s position.

Mazda Moody nodded, knowing that to stop Kuga, it must intervene personally.

In the next moment, several Temple Guard Legions and an entire Ancient Giant Beast Legion vanished from the square, along with Mazda Moody.

Lustria Rainforest, Lizardman Ruins.

The battle between Fugen and Kuga continued, neither aware that the situation had changed.

Countless Temple Guard Legions descended amidst golden light, with the multicolored radiance almost drowning the entire battlefield.

”We’re surrounded!” A human soldier cried in despair, surrounded in all directions by Lizardman Legions, and even the most inexperienced soldiers could see that the true elite army had arrived, these Lizardmen wore skull caps of Triangular Dragons, donned jewel-encrusted ceremonial armor, and wielded long halberds as elite troops.

And towering over them were the massive Ancient Triceratops and the Armored Dragons adorned with a formidable Energy Device, surrounding the humans’ cramped and crowded final stronghold.

Fugen also swiftly noticed the arrival of the Lizardman army, his wounded left shoulder throbbed with pain, the Divine Artifact left by the Ancient Saint inflicted significant damage upon the Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons, he attempted to issue commands but was given no chance by the formidable enemy before him.

Kuga’s offensive remained relentless, frequently raising the Hand of the Gods as if to launch an attack, keeping Fugen firmly suppressed, Kuga realized Fugen’s fear of the Hand of the Gods, plunging Fugen into a disadvantage in the duel.

A much more robust Ancient Triceratops, superior to its counterparts, entered the battlefield under the protection of a large group of Temple Guards, Mazda Moody sat cross-legged upon the Golden Throne, observing the duel between Kuga and Fugen, indicating to its subordinates to refrain from acting rashly.

Three minutes later, seeing that Kuga and Fugen were still evenly matched, Mazda Moody finally nodded, and the Demon Toad opened its mouth, uttering a string of Spells.

”Whoosh~” The sky changed color, clouds gathered densely, and a meteor with a diameter exceeding fifty meters rapidly plummeted from the stars, landing swiftly near the battle between Fugen and Kuga, the warring duo were blown away by the meteor’s explosion and shockwave, their fierce duel finally forcibly interrupted, causing them to land separately on the ground.

Fugen felt himself being flung far away, landing in a swamp. Despite his serious injuries, the Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons kept a firm grip on his golden power sword ”Glory”. As he struggled to rise, the swamp water and mud seeped into his armor and body, and when he finally managed to stand, he found himself surrounded by a large number of Temple Guards.

”Ugh!” The Demon Toad extended a hand, and a white Magic Silk Thread formed a solid cage, trapping Fugen within. Fugen wielded his sword with all his might, shattering the cage produced by the Demon Toad, but that was as far as he could go. Fugen knew well that he could not simultaneously face a Lizardman warrior of such might and a Caster with the power to move mountains and fill seas.

The power contained within this Demon Toad, in Fugen’s impression, was comparable to none other than the Emperor himself, except perhaps the Imperial Chancellor ”Demon Pattern” Macado.

Fugen raised the sword in his hand, recalling the Emperor’s directive, tasked with trying to communicate with the servants of the Ancient Saint.

War Leader Kuga disagreed, appearing to wish to continue the battle.

”Enough... Kuga... stop fighting, this is part of the grand plan.” Mazda Moody spoke to the wounded Kuga.

”Yes, Master Moody.” Kuga lowered its head in obedience, though still disgruntled, ”How do you intend to deal with this human?”

”Lead your troops to retreat first.” Mazda Moody commanded Kuga to retreat with its Lizardman army, then, after a moment of contemplation, spoke in the human language to Fugen’s location, the City Lord of the Sun City said: ”Son of the Ancient Saint... have you come here seeking enlightenment, or seeking sustenance?”

The Son of the Ancient Saint? Fugen’s heart wavered, surprised by the ability to communicate with the Ancient Saint’s servants, but he was sure that he was not a Lizardman, nor a frog, ”I am not the Son of the Ancient Saint! I am the son of the Master of Humans, I am human!”

Mazda Moody shook its head and continued, ”Race is not a reason for you to deny your identity. The Ancient Saint created many races, including Elves, including Dwarfs, including Green Skins... and including humans.”

”...” Fugen was speechless now, as the Ancient Saint was known to be one of the earliest and most dominant races in the universe, and it was said that the birth of all races was a result of the Ancient Saint’s experiments.
