Warhammer Divine Throne

Ultimately, the Chaos Demons used a Chaos Storm to render Shilan’s magic ineffective and massacred the entire city, but Kuga led the remaining Lizardman army of the city in a fierce guerrilla war against the Chaos Demons.

This battle lasted for over a thousand years, until the Elves created a Great Vortex to drain the Wind of Chaos, and Kuga, who fought guerrilla wars for centuries against several Chaos Demon Legions alone, finally received reinforcements.

This greatest Lizardman Warrior, who had lived for seven thousand years, was granted the title of ”Warlord” by the Shilan Holy Council. He was also the only Lizardman allowed entry into the Holy Council (the other Lords were all Shilan).

”Summon the Winged Dragon Legion, also call the Armored Dragon!” Kuga observed the battlefield and made an immediate judgment.

These humans are different from the ordinary ones.

Kuga had already eliminated several waves of human explorers.

Humans are not a very powerful race; they are greedy, snobbish, and easily corrupted by Chaos. According to Kuga’s understanding, humans are not a race included in the ”Great Plan” and should be exterminated.

According to past experience, the fear is that humans won’t fall into the trap. As long as they do and enter the ruins, the Lizardman Legion has already achieved victory in advance. For hundreds of years, several waves of the Human Expeditionary Army have been completely wiped out here.

Kuga did not understand why this human army was so elite, but he knew things couldn’t continue like this as the losses of the Lizardman Legion had exceeded expectations, and many Lizardman Legions were over half depleted.

However, the human army has also reached its limit. No matter how strong human discipline is, no matter how elite their legion is, the individual quality is vastly different.

The sharp cries pierced through the tropical rainforest.

”Boom~Boom~Boom~” Armored Dragons over five meters tall and several dozen meters long appeared.

Under Kuga’s command, three Armored Dragons emerged from the depths of the rainforest. These ancient beasts radiated primal instincts, their skins impossibly hard, as their four stout legs strode forward: ”Roar~~~”

”Giant Beasts!!!” The human army was locked in bitter combat with the Lizardmen Legion, and sharp-eyed soldiers spotted the giant beasts, shocked to no end. Pilazzo signaled the archers and musketeers to shoot the Armored Dragons: ”Fire! Shoot the Giant Beasts! Do not let them near our battle formation!”

The crossbowmen turned around, and the dense rain of arrows switched to attack the giant beasts.

It had no effect, as ordinary feathered arrows could not penetrate the hard skin of the Armored Dragon; only muskets could inflict effective damage.

The number of musketeers was small as the three Armored Dragons continued to close in on the formation.

Warlord Kuga raised the Divine Tlanxla Spear in his hand, unleashing a wild roar, as hordes of Winged Dragon Riders appeared in the sky, riding around by the small Spirit Lizard Stragglers. They swooped through the high air, launching assaults from the sides of the human formations, and a rain of javelins fell. In the blink of an eye, dozens of soldiers were struck down on the spot.

”Boom!” The first Armored Dragon approached the human formation, ignoring the barrage of Long Spears, indiscriminately crashing through two rows of human soldiers. Most weapons were ineffective against the Armored Dragon, only the Great Swordsman and musketeers could inflict damage.

With the immense threat posed by the Armored Dragon, the human lines shattered, forcing the Expeditionary Army to retreat.

Fugen knew he had to take action.

A purple figure leaped down from the ruins, deftly dodging an attack from a Lizardman Warrior, the Golden Power Sword’s arc transformed into a purple light arc surrounding the Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons, glowing so brightly that the nearby Lizardman Warriors couldn’t open their eyes.

The light vanished, and all eight Lizardman Warriors around Fugen were sliced in two, the wounds smooth and even, as perfect as an artistic cut, and the Lizardman Warriors around him hadn’t even reacted before they were killed on the spot.

The next second, Fugen struck with his sword again, his speed akin to a phantom, his figure like an unchanging nightmare within the Subspace, instantly, another eight Lizardman Warriors were neatly sliced into two.

The battlefield turned into a bloody slaughterhouse, Fugen was like a purple phantom, wherever he passed, dozens of Lizardman Warriors disintegrated into blood and flesh with every breath, unable to keep pace with his refined Swordsmanship.

”Roar!!!” An Armored Dragon charged towards Fugen, its stout forelimb causing the ground to shake.

Fugen did not evade; he raised his sword towards the Armored Dragon: ”Come.”

”Roar!!!” The Armored Dragon unleashed its fury, closing in on the tall human before it, opening its maw to devour him as a fine meal.

Against the approaching giant beast, Fugen made only one move.

He lightly twisted his wrist holding the sword.

The Armored Dragon emitted an uncontrollable wail of distress, moved two feeble steps, and then fell sideways to the ground, its throat completely cut open with fresh red blood gushing forth.

Fugen stood proudly at the battlefield’s center, single-handedly decimating an entire Lizardman Legion, two Armored Dragons falling dead under his sword.

”Long live the Legion Commander!”

”Fight! Fight!”

”Never give up!!!”

The humans were invigorated, their soldiers unleashed a terrifying combat prowess and barely managed to drive back the Lizardman army.

A silver-haired figure stood atop a pile of Lizardman Warrior corpses, Fugen extended the sword’s tip, the Golden Power Sword Glory’s tip lifting toward the rainforest depths, directly pointing at where Kuga was.

Kuga quickly understood this was a challenge.

Given the severe losses suffered by the Lizardman Legion, which had far exceeded Kuga’s acceptable range, the Warlord riding the Tyrannosaurus Kuimoke emerged from the rainforest depths.

It was almost as if destiny had arranged it, Kuga and Fugen’s eyes met, the strong Lizardman Warlord and the Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons had found their adversaries.

Kuga, astride the Tyrannosaurus, charged rapidly, shredding any human soldier attempting to close in.

Fugen, bearing the Golden Power Sword, progressed forward with ease, as all Lizardman Warriors trying to hinder him transformed into blood rain.

Amid the bloody battlefield, amid the cannon smoke, amid the dense barrages of javelins, feathered arrows, and musket fire, the two sides converged.

Battle!
