Warhammer Divine Throne

This purification took several hours. During the process, Magnus woke up multiple times, but Angron always managed to make him ”fall asleep” again in time.

After a few hours, the purification was complete. Magnus finally transformed from a five or six-meter tall Demon Prince back to his original Thousand Sons Primarch form. His height drastically shrunk, and the traces of corruption vanished completely.

More noticeable was his swollen head, making his entire face look unrecognizable.

Laine was panting heavily. He took out a towel and wiped the bloodstains from his face. ”Father, Magnus’s condition is somewhat different from Brother Angron’s. I can purify his body after ascension to demonhood, and I can also reverse his soul, but under Tzeentch’s influence, his way of thinking has been permanently and irreversibly changed.”

”I understand, but it doesn’t matter.” The Emperor listened to Laine’s words with a cold expression, his tone indifferent: ”It’s not important.”

Seeing this, Laine said no more.

”Ah! It hurts! It hurts!” As the two of them were about to say more, Magnus, lying on the stone slab, suddenly screamed in pain. He tried to touch his face with his hands, causing his screams to become louder: ”Ahh! It hurts so much! My head hurts so much!”

”Relax, brother, this is the aftermath of purification.” Angron nonchalantly put down the Great Hammer, grinning as he walked over to Magnus: ”It will be better soon.”

”F**k! Angron! Brother, did you think I didn’t see it before?!” Magnus cursed angrily: ”It was clearly you who did it!”

”Was it? You should think carefully about who did it.” Angron, seeing this, picked up the Great Hammer again.

”Uh... well, I mean, I just finished being purified, so I’m a bit dizzy. I was a little out of it just now.” Magnus forced open his swollen eyes, which had turned into slits. After his body was reshaped, his once blind eye was also restored.

Noticing the hammerhead of Angron’s hammer was covered with his own blood, Magnus immediately backed down. He chuckled softly, then pulled at the wounds on his face: ”Ah! It hurts!”

”You seem quite spirited, Magnus.” The Emperor stepped forward, coldly approaching Magnus. Seeing Magnus’s face swollen beyond recognition, the Emperor’s expression seemed to change slightly.

Laine could sense that the Emperor was smiling, and he seemed to be in a good mood.

”Father, the God of Corpse Decay on the Golden Throne? I didn’t expect you really had a way.” Magnus’s tone was full of confusion, as if he were both relieved and unwilling: ”You really can... turn me back.”

”How foolish, Magnus. You are like a clown, always being manipulated by fate, never understanding why, never learning from your failures.” The Emperor spoke dispassionately, looking at the weakened Magnus: ”That’s why you always fail. Your stupid, impulsive instincts always make you do foolish things, like being deceived by Tzeentch to ruin the Net Dao, or recklessly ambushing Kiliman on the moon.”

”Perhaps, Father, I’ve always been a toy, tossed back and forth between you and Tzeentch, like a ball. I thought I could escape this fate, but in the end, I was still played with by you.” Magnus tried to move, but found his body so weak he could barely budge, so he gave up: ”Anyway, I have no other choice. What I had to say on the moon was already told to you. You’ll let your wolf cubs slaughter us all. Tzeentch promised to help us solve the mutation issue, but Ariman’s Red Letter turned 90% of the warriors to dust.”

”No matter what choice I made, it was the wrong answer. No matter what I did, it was a foolish decision. Now you tell me, Father, you turned me back into what I was, brought me here, what do you want?” Magnus said helplessly, lying on the stone slab: ”Aren’t you worried I’ll rebel again? Gather my army to destroy you once more?”

”Heh~ tell me, Magnus, was being Tzeentch’s Demon Prince over these thousand years as happy as you thought?” the Emperor said blandly.

”Actually... it was not happy at all. Tzeentch deceived me! I’ve always lived in a lie!” Magnus remembered his experiences and spoke in resentment: ”Alright, I suppose I won’t have the thought to serve Tzeentch again.”

”Anyway, Magnus, my brother, welcome back!” Angron laughed heartily as he walked up to give Magnus a big hug, completely ignoring Magnus’s screams: ”Ahh! It hurts so much, not so hard!”

”Damn, Angron, so you were here. Khorne’s Iron Fire Demon Army is searching everywhere for you. They’ve announced that whoever takes your head can be promoted to Demon Prince immediately and win the valuable opportunity to claim Kiliman’s head.” Magnus scratched his long red hair and, with Angron’s help, barely sat up: ”And you’ve actually been turned back to your original form.”

”That’s my goal, Magnus. I want to bring all your brothers back together.” The Emperor said to Magnus: ”Fugen, Lorgar, Peturabo, Motarian... I will continue my grand expedition until the entire galaxy is under human control once more.”

”If that’s the case, I mean, Father, if that’s truly what you intend, I think, what does that have to do with me?” Magnus’s eyes flickered, and he seemed to recall a nearly forgotten memory.
