Warhammer Divine Throne

Chapter 410: Chapter 176, Legendary High-Tier

”Really? The Demon Hunter and Lady Kislev got into a fight at the town inn?” On the open ground by the Xinong River, Laine was sparring with his brother Angerong.

Though it was called sparring, it was actually Laine getting beat up one-sidedly. The Holy Grail Knight had a swollen half-face, and his body was covered with bruises. The Warhammer had fallen not far away, while Angerong opposite him looked pleased, sweating, holding a large War Axe in one hand and a Great Hammer in the other.

If it were a regular Holy Grail Knight, such mighty blows would leave them half-dead, but Laine was different. As a Genetic Primarch, resting for five minutes was enough for his injuries and swelling to completely disappear: ”Brother, I’m ready!”

”Great! Let’s go again!”

The Griffin Warhammer flew back to the Holy Grail Knight’s hand under Laine’s spiritual energy drive. Laine raised the Warhammer and plunged back into battle with his brother.

”Bang!” The war hammer collided with the axe blade, and the unstoppable force from his arms made Laine step back continuously. The Holy Grail Knight felt he had lost his balance, while Angerong gave him no chance to adjust, charging forward with relentless sweeps. Laine had to retreat further.

”Keep retreating, and you won’t win, my brother!” Angerong punched the ground heavily, collapsing part of the soil-compacted earth into a pit.

”I’m not like those fools who don’t know when to retreat, brother. Sometimes, pulling back a fist is for a better strike!” Laine immediately caught a flaw revealed by Angerong, or at least what seemed like a flaw to him. He quickly threw a heavy punch, aiming directly at his brother’s chest, his fist cutting a fierce gust.

”That’s more like it!” Angerong swiftly shifted, stepping back half a step, then thrusting his right fist to meet Laine’s punch: ”Brother, you’re on the verge of a breakthrough now. You just need the strike of flesh on flesh!”

”Bang!” The fists of the two Genetic Primarchs nearly shattered the sound barrier, the immense force within twisting the space, vibrating the surrounding river and earth.

Unquestionably, Laine was once again the defeated, being sent flying under his brother’s fearsome arm strength, rolling several times on the ground, covered in dust, his handsome face plastered with dirt.

At this moment, Laine disregarded demeanor or knightly dignity. He clumsily rolled upright, surrounded by a light blue spiritual vortex spiraling around his body. He didn’t bother retrieving his war hammer lying in the distance.

Blue flames emanated from his hands, blue light glowed in his eyes, as the Grey Knight Primarch focused his spiritual energy, thrusting his hands forward: ”Spiritual~Storm!”

White lightning as thick as an arm tore through space, striking Angerong. The release of spiritual power in one go was enough to make the strongest Beastman Beast King shy away.

But his opponent was Angerong, his brother, who forcibly withstood the Spiritual Storm, charging towards Laine with large strides: ”You’ve lost! Brother!”

Enshrouded and scorched by the Spiritual Storm, Angerong raised his right arm, gathering his terrifying strength. His fist, larger than a sandbag, shot through the sound barrier again like a cannonball, heading towards Laine.

Laine had to immediately withdraw his hands, crossing them in front of his chest to prepare to withstand Angerong’s attack.

In an instant, he felt as if he were being hit full speed by a herd of prairie bulls, and he was sent flying.

”Humph!” Angerong snorted coldly, and the Spiritual Storm that troubled and burned him was directly shattered by his sheer physical power.

In the air filled with the smell of scorched air, Angerong did not continue the chase, standing in place.

On the ground were deep grooves and roll marks, evidently Laine’s ”handiwork.” His brother was blasted dozens of meters away, rolled several circles, and then crashed into a rock, kicking up a cloud of dust.

It seemed Laine was silent.

Angerong showed no signs of worry; instead, he nodded in satisfaction: ”Very good.”

”Boom!” A silver-white column of light surged skyward where Laine had fallen, blue flames dispelling the cloud of dust. Disheveled and dirt-covered, Laine appeared before Angerong, his eyes burning with pale blue flames, a perfect blend of spiritual energy, spirit, and strength.

Laine had advanced; from today, he was the Legendary High-Tier Holy Grail Knight Commander.

Before the Knightly War, Laine had vaguely felt the call of advancement, and Angerong’s power helped him complete the breakthrough.

His stamina was now unfathomable, his spiritual power already flowing like waves within him, his arm strength increased by nearly half, his formidable presence radiating outward, with pale blue flames swirling around Laine.

”Very good, you’ve finally advanced.” Angerong nodded, a smile appearing on his face: ”You are now much stronger than Lorgar, my brother.”

”...Uh.” Laine wiped the mix of sweat and mud off his face then spat out some grass blades, shaking his head with a wry smile: ”Let’s call it a day, brother. I’ve just advanced and need to stabilize my realm for now.”

”Alright, go wash up.”

......

An hour later, cleaned up, Laine and Angerong returned to Gene Town, Angerong asked: ”You didn’t finish your previous topic, brother, you said the Demon Hunter and some Lady Kislev got into a fight?”
