Warhammer Divine Throne

PS. Updated, two updates today, thanks to the one hundred thousand rewards, the update will be released in the evening.

”Ice Arrow!” The Magic Wind gathered around the female sorcerer, with clusters of Ice Magic Energy swirling around her.

”Fireball Technique!” A fireball the size of a basin had already rushed toward Teresa.

Fourth Ring Magic, Fireball Technique.

The smell of burning sulfur spread through the air. Teresa felt a heavy pressure. The female sorcerer was very clear about her strengths and weaknesses. Her advantage was in the variety of spells and high casting concentration, but she was weaker than Veronica in quick spellcasting.

”Ice Barrier.” Teresa immediately judged that Veronica’s Fireball Technique would arrive first, so the female sorcerer decisively abandoned casting the Ice Arrow and focused her Magical Energy in one place, creating a transparent barrier in front of her.

Fireball Technique, Amentok’s Net, and Arcane Missile are hailed as one of the three most famous spells of the Old World, but the ignorant public does not understand that compared to Amentok’s Net and Arcane Missile, Fireball Technique is not a beginner-level spell.

Many advanced elite formal Fire Mages have not even mastered this spell, as the fiery Fire Element Energy can easily burn oneself if not handled carefully, which is why the Fireball Technique’s destructive power and attack range are actually significant.

”Boom!” The fireball the size of a basin smashed against the transparent Ice Barrier, the rolling hot air waves melted the remaining barrier, and the Fireball Technique was not stopped by the Ice Barrier, continuing its trajectory towards Teresa’s face.

But at this moment, the female sorcerer’s next spell was ready: ”Rapid Freezing!”

The purple Magic Staff extended forward, spraying out a large amount of frost, the Fire Elemental Gas Mass had already lost most of its energy while breaking through the Ice Barrier, and the entire Fireball Technique was frozen into a block of ice by the frost emitted by Teresa.

The battle between the witches did not continue. In the Celestial Vault Castle, random spellcasting is strictly forbidden. The strength difference between the two witches was not significant, Teresa had just advanced to Legendary Middle-tier, and Veronica was only slightly stronger. In such a situation, it was not easy for the casters to determine the winner quickly.

The battle temporarily halted, leaving Teresa and Veronica locked in a glare filled with hostility.

”Oh? Trovik, why don’t you continue fighting? I even thought of a script for you.” Veronica also withdrew her hand, raising her chin mockingly: ”Keep fighting, then Elder Aurora will definitely come with her people, and we both will be punished.”

”Princess Jialan Trovik will be grounded for three days, yes, confined in her own home to rest for three days.”

”Since our Princess Jialan is going to be grounded for three days, of course, I also must accept punishment, which would be confinement for three days!”

”Your mother always handles things so ’fairly’!” Veronica’s face could not hide her mocking tone.

Teresa furrowed her brows, harshly retorting: ”That’s because you always provoke matters!”

”Then don’t touch my things!” The heel of creamy high-heeled shoes heavily stomped on the hard stone ground, anger barely contained on Veronica’s face: ”Trovik! I don’t care whose daughter you are, I don’t care how many spells you’ve learned, your matters are none of my concern, neither do they interest me, but Laine, he is my belonging!”

”Your belonging? What do you think Laine is? A pet dog you keep?” The female sorcerer stood her ground, her icy phoenix eyes fixed on Veronica’s sweet face, the tear mole at the corner of her eye appearing bewitching and dangerous: ”He is an excellent knight and also my partner, he has never been someone’s belonging.”

”He is my partner! Trovik!!!” Veronica instead calmed down, the witch mocking with a smile: ”Laine and I have been partners for many years, I know what he needs, I know what he likes, and you? Besides giving him trouble and attitude, what have you learned? How long have you spent with him achieving nothing? Watching him duel with the Doomsday Bull, with the Barbarian Chief, while you stand by?”

”...” Teresa understood a fact, in terms of verbal sparring, she couldn’t be a match for Veronica.

However, the female sorcerer, after traveling with Laine, had matured a lot too. At least she did not get provoked, but instead calmly said: ”Then what can you bring him? Laine is now the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lady of the Lake, a venerated Holy Grail Knight, and an enfeoffed baron. Do you think he would lack a caster like you by his side? A witch who doesn’t even have her own Wizard Tower, who can’t even produce a few decent Magic Scrolls?”

”Indeed, it seems you’re his partner, but what does that prove? Are you his girlfriend? Or have you been engaged to him? Tell me, Lady Veronica, has Laine ever told you he loves you? Have you two confirmed your relationship before? Just partners, it’s something that can be changed anytime, the partnership can be terminated at any time. Do you really think your position is unshakable? Just a partner, and you take it so seriously.”

Veronica’s face suddenly turned pale white.

The witch was very clear about her own situation, as well as Laine’s. She understood all too well the status of a Divine Chosen Champion who had survived countless battles and the fact that Laine was now a Great Noble with real power. If he wished, putting aside everything else, the Wizard Alliance, and the High Elf Mage Council would surely be willing to send wizards to provide him with magical assistance and answers, not to mention the numerous Lake God Prophets within the Saintess Order directly under the Lake Fairy.
