Warhammer Divine Throne

”You don’t know? Who has been managing the castle recently? Kasenberg?” To his surprise, Laine noticed that his castle was well-managed, with everyone performing their duties. Although it seemed a bit crowded due to the influx of craftsmen, there was a sense of order and organization among the servants, craftsmen, and guards.

”No, Kasenberg has recently been stationed in Gene Town, responsible for collecting taxes and managing the influx of population and merchants. The internal management of the castle is handled by... Miss Ollica,” Gaspardon said in a low voice. ”Miss Ollica is the Baron’s personal maid, and she volunteered to help us...”

”I never imagined she had such abilities,” Laine was a bit surprised.

The Baron thought that his dark elf maid should be doing her utmost to avoid being in the spotlight, so why was she proactively managing affairs?

”Is there anything else?”

”There are still some matters regarding the sowing of winter wheat and arranging for the festival... but those aren’t urgent. My Baron, you’ve had a tiring expedition; you should rest first. Miss Ollica has prepared hot water and your bedroom for you, so I won’t disturb you further. Do you need a dinner prepared, my Baron?”

Laine glanced out the window and noticed it was only afternoon, so preparing a dinner now seemed a bit late. Hence, he shook his head: ”Tomorrow evening, arrange it so all the knights can attend the banquet.”

”Yes, my Baron.” Gaspardon withdrew.

The third floor was reserved for the Lord and his family. Most of the area was still under renovation, but the Lord’s room had been completely tidied up. The craftsmen were ordered to temporarily leave, and to welcome Laine was his personal maid—Ollica. His head maid, Amelia, was still studying at Winford College and could only return sporadically.

With waist-length black hair and wheat-colored skin, dressed in a black-and-white lace maid outfit, white long gartered stockings, Ollica, with her beautiful amber eyes, was already waiting for him in his bedroom: ”Welcome back, Master.”

”Ollica?” Laine began to undo his outerwear. After two months of not seeing her, the dark elf’s face appeared more compliant, with less hostility and resistance: ”You came out to manage affairs proactively, quite unexpected.”

”Hot water is ready. I need to demonstrate my value to the Master.” The dark elf gently moved in front of Laine. Her black pointed high heels stepping on the red carpet: ”Master, please bathe. Would you like a nap afterward?”

”Of course, I’ll rest for a few days first and then consider the next plan.”

”Then please allow me to serve you.”

”Alright!”

... Bathing Divider ...

After the bath, the refreshed baron himself changed into pajamas. Seeing this, the dark elf drew all the curtains, locked the door, and extinguished the candles: ”Master, should I call you at a particular time?”

”No need.” Laine sat on the soft velvet bed, looking at Ollica with a strange expression: ”How come you seem different now that I’ve returned from the expedition?”

”Uh? Really?” The dark elf carefully sat on the bed, her black maid skirt spreading over the blue bed sheets. Her face blushed slightly, with a hint of helplessness: ”Master, isn’t this what a maid should do?”

”Haha, it’s hard to imagine that the dark elf who once fought and screamed incessantly, refusing to obey, would turn out to be like this.” The Baron himself laughed heartily, recalling his days in Marinburg.

”Mmm~” Ollica’s face turned completely red. She stood up, intending to leave, but Laine grabbed her hand, gently pulling her into his embrace: ”Confess quickly! Otherwise, I’ll punish you!”

In the quiet afternoon, within the castle, Ollica struggled slightly, knowing she didn’t possess the strength to resist Laine’s advances, so she was half-heartedly pulled into his arms by the Baron.

The black high heels dropped to the ground, the dark elf’s curvaceous figure was covered by a thick blanket. Her beautiful amber eyes shyly gazed at Laine lying beside her, before she softly spoke: ”Master, after you left, the Lady of the Lake appeared and found me.”

”What does my Lady want with you, dear Ollica?” Laine lay on the bed as well, extending his hand to gently embrace the dark elf, enjoying her softness and the fragrance of her hair.

The dark elf rested against her master’s chest, whispering: ”Master, the Lady of the Lake wishes for me to obediently serve as your maid, or she will banish me from your side.”

Upon hearing this, Laine discreetly frowned, thinking that the Lady interfered in too many matters. The Baron hugged the trembling dark elf maid tighter, casually saying, ”And then?”

”I agreed,” the dark elf said helplessly, looking as if overwhelmed by her lack of choice. ”Master, my soul contract is in your hands. I have no other choice. I only ask that you don’t discard me.”

”But those aren’t your true feelings.” Laine’s hand brushed Ollica’s delicate face, his blue eyes glimmering with starlight: ”To this day, I still can’t fully trust you, Ollica. There’s a shroud of endless mist around you, and no one knows what you truly desire.”

”I wish to stay by your side, my Master,” the dark elf continued: ”Master, has anyone ever told you that there’s a very pure energy surrounding you? Any caster likes this pure energy aura; everyone wants to be near you, including myself.”

”I’m aware of that,” Laine nodded, fully aware in his heart. As the Genetic Primarch of the Grey Knights, he could extract the purest subspace spiritual energy from the chaos-corrupted subspace. Any caster would be attracted to this energy, even the usually highly touch-averse Lake God Witch Mogiana felt no revulsion towards him.

All signs indicated that Ollica had once been a caster.

In the dimly lit master’s bedroom, silence reigned.

After a long silence, Laine could feel a reaction from himself as he embraced Ollica, though he always maintained strong self-control in such matters. After some contemplation, he shook his head: ”Ollica, your agreement with the Lady is not my concern. I only ever required you to fulfill your maid duties, and I will protect you, nothing more.”

The dark elf bit her lip in reluctance, sensing Laine’s interest.

She wanted to heal her soul, and the pure energy surrounding Laine was exactly what she needed. To attain Laine’s energy, she would need to rely on the most primitive and straightforward method of obtaining it from him.

She was prepared for this, but at the crucial moment, Laine relented?

”Master!” the dark elf said anxiously, ”I still...”

”Wait, I haven’t finished speaking, dear Ollica.” Laine’s hand gently moved down the dark elf’s smooth back: ”But I’m willing to give you an opportunity.”

”I...” The dark elf, both angry and annoyed, realized that this human was teasing her. Just as she opened her mouth: ”You...”

”Mmm...!” The dark elf’s words were cut off as Laine kissed her sweet lips.

... (Omitted) ...

The next day, with the sky bright and the sun rising in the east, the Baron was in a great mood. He was even seated in his bedroom personally reviewing this year’s tax records while attending to the dark elf, who was sprawled like a mess and unable even to turn over.

”Here, Ollica, have something to eat!” He sat the dark elf up, letting her lean against his shoulder.

”Yes, Master~” The dark elf’s face glowed with a dewy sheen, looking notably complex in expression.

”Knock knock~” Abruptly, the bedroom door was knocked: ”My Baron, are you there? There’s a matter that requires your attention.”

”Kasenberg? Aren’t you in Gene Town?” Laine was somewhat displeased at being disturbed: ”What is it?”

”My Baron, a demon hunter has arrived in Gene Town and says he wants to see you.”

”This matter involves Duke Boldro.”
