Livestream Matchmaking: My Intel Infinitely Refreshes

Chapter 90: Chapter 90: The Self-Proclaimed 7.5-Point Beauty

Zhang Zhe silently screenshotted the bullet comment and saved it, planning to ask this ”Big Bro” what was going on later.

’The guy’s income level is very high; he’s definitely in the high-income bracket in Qing City. If I can get him to help me with some business referrals, my matchmaking agency will be set for the future.’

’Most wealthy men are very keen on finding a wife.’

’Especially for businessmen, having a wife and a harmonious family life is a huge boost to their public image.’

’There’s also a less wholesome explanation: a middle-aged man with no parents, wife, or children is a man with no weaknesses.’

’When dealing with an ”invincible” person like that, especially in high-stakes business, there’s just too much you have to watch out for. A lot of people aren’t willing to take that risk.’

’On the other hand, if you’re a newlywed or just had a bouncing baby boy, no one will suspect you of skipping town with the money.’

Besides the ”Big Bro’s” bullet comment, Zhang Zhe also made a note of the girl he’d just been on a call with.

He used his alternate account to give her a ”starred follow.”

’He was now very curious how she would put her ”advanced troublemaking experience” from abroad to use.’

’There’s no way she’d pass up a platform like Xiaohongshu, right?’

”Alright, hold off on the bullet comments for a bit. I’m about to connect with the next girl.”

”Everyone, flood the chat with a warm welcome.”

”Good evening, Teacher Zhang~”

”Hello.” Zhang Zhe couldn’t help but shudder when he heard her voice.

’His judgment wasn’t wrong; it was definitely a girl.’

It was just that her voice was so affectedly cute, the sugar content was off the charts—so sweet it was sickening.

Moreover, her enunciation wasn’t crisp; she dragged out every single word.

It was a bit hard to listen to.

”Are you here for matchmaking advice?”

”That’s right, Teacher. Let me introduce myself first.”

”I was born in ’99. I’m 175cm tall, weigh 55kg, and I currently work in administration at a state-owned enterprise in Yanjing. My hometown is Qing City.”

”I have a younger brother. He was the one who recommended I seek a consultation with Granny Xu.”

”Oh, your brother is in Qing City?”

”Yes, he’s in high school in Qing City.”

’He’s watching dating shows in high school?’ Zhang Zhe clicked his tongue inwardly. When he was in high school, he was more concerned with who the free weekly champions were and which internet cafe had the cheapest all-night rates.

’It seems the internet really is making the next generation mature faster.’

’But for a minor to be focused on romance and marriage... that’s a bit much.’

Zhang Zhe had a reasonable suspicion: either this woman on the line was having major trouble getting married, or her parents’ marriage was on the rocks.

”He’s not my biological younger brother, so I can’t really control him.”

”What do you mean? Are you from a blended family?”

”That’s right.”

[Wow, this girl’s voice is so syrupy]

[Sounds like her mouth is full of paste]

[So cutesy. Girls from here in Qing City really don’t talk like that]

[Probably not a local. Blended family, probably used to live in the south]

”Are you with your dad’s side of the family, or your mom’s?”

”I’m on my mom’s side.”

”Your mom must be very beautiful, right?”

”Yes, my mom has a lot of class. She majored in dance. I won’t disclose any more details.” The girl was wary of Zhang Zhe. ”I’m afraid you, the streamer, will dox me.”

”Hahaha, I wouldn’t do that.”

’If I really wanted to dox her,’ Zhang Zhe thought, ’I already have enough information.’

’Her mom studied dance, so her family must be well-off. A blended family where both sides brought children... Qing City only has a few hundred thousand people. With these details, anyone who really wanted to find out could do so with a little digging.’

”Go on.”

”Mhm, I guess I inherited my mom’s genes. I’m also very pretty. I’d say my looks are about a 7.5.”

”A 7.5? PFFT—”

”Do you have any idea what a 7.5 even means?”

This was the most arrogant person Zhang Zhe had encountered since he started streaming.

An average, overconfident girl might claim to be the class beauty, but few would even dare to rate themselves a 6.

”Let me put it this way.” Zhang Zhe gave an example. ”There’s an influencer on Douyin called ’It’s Xiaozhu-ah.’ She has zero talent, but she’s got over 4 million followers just based on her face. With makeup, she’s about a 7.5.”

[Brother Zhang and I have the same taste]

[I know that one, the one they call the ’Innate Saintly Widow Body’]

[There are so many girls on Douyin with no talent at all who can get a million followers just off their looks]

[A 7 doesn’t dare turn on her camera?]

”Then I’m definitely a 7.5,” the girl replied. ”I have over a hundred thousand followers on Douyin too, but I don’t really manage the account. I just share a little of my daily life.”

”Would you mind if I saw a photo?”

”I do mind, a little.”

”Teacher, it’s not that I’m not confident in myself. I’m just afraid it’ll be awkward if I run into you in Qing City when I go home in the future.”

”Why?” Zhang Zhe didn’t quite understand. ”Do you have a crush on me?”

”A crush? Teacher, you’re overthinking it.” The girl denied it so quickly her voice changed. ”It’s what I need to consult you about... it’s a little embarrassing.”

”Fine, but I’m not acknowledging your 7.5 rating then.”

”Just continue.” Zhang Zhe couldn’t force her to show a photo either.

’He could tell she wasn’t trying to use her looks to bait rich guys in his livestream; she simply wanted to state that she thought she was attractive.’

’That was fine, then.’

”Mhm, I have a master’s degree in the arts, I studied abroad.”

”Which university?”

”I’d rather not say.”

”You can at least say which country you studied in, right?”

”I’d rather not say that either.”

”...” Zhang Zhe sighed helplessly. This girl was being way too guarded. ”Alright, we’ll just say your family’s assets are at the A7 level, then. Being able to send you abroad to study art means they have some money.”

”Mhm, you could say that.”

The woman agreed, and after getting Zhang Zhe’s go-ahead, she began to describe her current boyfriend:

”I’m currently seeing a guy. He was born in ’87, a full zodiac cycle older than me, but he’s a very honest, very sincere person. And his income is extremely high, he makes 2 million a year...”

”Is he a manager at your company?” That was Zhang Zhe’s first reaction.

’It was quite common in big cities for company higher-ups to take a girl who’d just started working as their mistress.’

’You didn’t even have to go as high as company management. Even a production line leader in a regular electronics factory in Shencheng City would use their position to hit on girls who had just joined the factory.’

”He’s not from my company, he’s a client.”

”You’re in administration, and you hooked up with a client?”

[The professional ethics of girls these days are worrying]

[Damn, she’s got moves]

[Guess she really must be pretty then]

[I don’t think she’s a 7.5, otherwise why would she settle for someone who only makes 2 million a year?]

”It’s not ’hooking up,’ we’re dating normally.”

”Fine, you’re ’normal’.” Zhang Zhe nodded very reluctantly.

’This girl was clearly naive. In Yanjing, a guy born in ’87 making 2 million a year really wasn’t earning that much.’

’Secondly, she was definitely not a 7.5, not even with makeup. Because if she were a 7.5, she could make 2 million on her own just by posting videos of her face.’

’She was probably just a bit prettier than the average person.’

But Zhang Zhe didn’t rush to contradict her.

From what the girl had said so far, he could already sense an aura of something truly outrageous.

’This girl definitely had more to her story.’

’This was primo streaming content, a gift from the heavens. He couldn’t let it go to waste.’
