The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1642: Chapter 663: A Day in Senior Sister’s Life (Part 2)

Beidou, early morning.

Under the gray sky, Jiang Mo opened her eyes early.

Her eyes were exceptionally beautiful, the healthy routine and green diet kept the whites of her eyes pristine without a hint of blood, the black and white contour is extremely distinct, akin to a dark lake reflecting clear moonlight, yet there’s a wisp of fog within them, staring too long, it seems even one’s soul might get lost inside...

Jiang Mo first stared at the ceiling with art murals and crystal chandeliers in a daze for a while, only then did that thin layer of mist in her eyes gradually disperse, she blinked, finally fully waking up.

Rising, the black velvet thin quilt slipped down, the beautiful curves of her body dressed only in a light strap nightgown revealed themselves, the strap on one shoulder slipped along with her body’s inclination, yet hung playfully on a raised milky white part.

While pulling up the strap, Jiang Mo couldn’t help recalling a similar scene from the past, her eyes softened, as if water waves rippled within them.

She then turned her head, habitually glanced at the bedside, where there was a photo frame, but the picture inside was not a group photo, but an infinite starry sky.

After a few glances at that starry sky, Jiang Mo sighed softly, her eyelids drooping, a fleeting trace of melancholy flashed across her charming face.

”We don’t have many shared memories, yet my heart isn’t big, the scenes about you, just a gentle sway of them is enough to engulf me.”

After about a few seconds, or maybe half an hour, Jiang Mo seemed to suddenly recall something, almost eagerly she found the mobile phone at the bedside in the first instance.

She opened WhatsApp, saw many unread messages popping up, even the pending ”friend requests” in the contact list had as many as six.

...After having her own personal studio, and starting to prepare for the tour, Jiang Mo gradually expanded her social circle, her contact list was no longer lonely with just a few dozen people, the number of people she had daily contact with was increasing.

But Jiang Mo wasn’t one to enjoy chit-chat, she chose to accumulate unimportant messages for a short span, then politely reply when she had a moment.

After doing so a few times, everyone should automatically reduce the frequency of finding her for idle chat...this trick was taught by some annoying man.

Opening WhatsApp, Jiang Mo automatically ignored those unread messages with red numbers below, she shifted her gaze first to the top of the chat interface, to the only pinned chat box.

There was a note name that ordinary people wouldn’t understand:

[Tues lux mea]

It’s Latin, originally translated to mean ”you are my light”.

But Jiang Mo preferred its other translation:

”You are redemption, and also abyss, you are lighthouse, and also home.”

This almost expresses all her complex feelings towards him.

First confirming whether Zhou Wang had replied to her ”goodnight” last night, after seeing not only did Zhou Wang reply, but also chatted about some interesting experiences in Korea, commented on the food there, even sent her a few photos and a short video, Jiang Mo suddenly settled down—

Her lips even curved into a small smile because of it.

After reading Zhou Wang’s replies several times over, Jiang Mo finally felt satisfied, she clicked the input box and, following her daily routine sent Zhou Wang a message:

”Good morning, husband.”

After editing it, Jiang Mo thought for a moment, deleted the text, then clicked voice input, she hesitated slightly, a faint blush quickly spread from the roots of her ears, but she ultimately spoke softly:

”Morning, master, I miss you very much, and...also very much want to be with you...want every day, every place wants it.”

After stumbling through the sentence, Jiang Mo released her finger, letting the entire voice message send out, she almost collapsed back onto the bed.

Feeling her heart pounding like a drum, Jiang Mo finally suppressed the shyness and quickly turned off the phone screen.

Fearing that if another second passed, she wouldn’t be able to resist retracting that message.

But she knew he liked her saying such words, and she liked it because of his liking...this was rare, she could clearly feel the moments of being ”alive”.

Not knowing how long it had been, Jiang Mo lifted her head again, returning to her usual cool demeanor.

Her bare, fair feet stepped on the thick camel wool carpet, walked through the indoor space with the heater on, came to the window, pulled the curtains open only to find a world covered in silver.

Within the Wanliu Academy’s community area, the property management was diligently clearing the snow with a large number of cleaning staff, ensuring no safety hazards appeared in the daily passageways of the community.

But their movements carried a certain caution, seemingly afraid that the noise in this quiet morning would disturb the peaceful dreams of the residents.

...Beidou’s first snow finally fell.

Quietly leaning by the window for a while, she then took out her phone, snapped a photo, and sent it to Zhou Wang, only then did Jiang Mo turn and leave the master bedroom, when she came out after washing up, she saw Xiao An already properly dressed waiting for her in the living room.

Not only that, nearby, on the balcony, the female bodyguard and driver Xiao Zheng was also nodding a greeting in her direction.

In the kitchen could be heard faint noises, the sounds of the housekeeper busy preparing breakfast.
