The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1347: Chapter 522: Ubiquitous ”Privilege”_2

Su Yajing was counting on her fingers as she said, ”As for the tomato juice, it’s kind of like a hidden ’special offer’. Usually, if you don’t ask, the flight attendants won’t offer it to you, but they all say tomato juice is the best, really rich in flavor~”

”There’s such a thing, huh. Alright, Sister Ranran, I’ll listen to your suggestion...”

Yu Duo immediately agreed with a giggle.

Zhou Wang didn’t really mind what he ate, since the upper limit of airplane food isn’t very high. But realizing this was Su Yajing’s way of enhancing everyone’s travel experience, Zhou Wang gave a respectful grin:

”Alright, if you hadn’t mentioned it, I probably would’ve chosen the beef.”

”What’s with all this beef, chicken, and fish? I think airplane food tastes no better than pig food!”

Just then, Zhou Wang heard a muttered comment behind him, causing him to raise an eyebrow and look back.

Sitting next to Zhou Wang, Ah Gui felt a little awkward, shifting himself slightly. He quickly put his hands together in a pleading gesture to Zhou Wang where Ah Jie couldn’t see.

Seeing this, Zhou Wang decided not to bother with his companion. Just then, the flight attendant pushing the meal cart arrived, so Zhou Wang took the opportunity to order a chicken meal with tomato juice.

To Zhou Wang, the taste was just so-so, but perhaps because it was his first time trying it, the tomato juice turned out to be pretty good...

As Zhou Wang was about to enjoy his lunch, the muttering behind him started again.

”This economy class meal is really terrible. It’s all your fault, Ah Gui, for not letting me buy business class tickets. I even said I’d cover your portion...”

”Forget it, Ah Jie, it’s about a thousand more. We’ve already spent so much on this trip, it’s better to save where we can. I know you don’t care, but there’s no need to waste money!”

Ah Gui hurriedly smiled in apology.

”No way, who can eat this pig food? I want their ’Four Treasures Rice’, that’s at least passable...”

Ah Jie’s voice suddenly grew louder, and he waved to call over the flight attendant, ”Attendant!”

”Hello, sir, how can I assist you?”

Soon, as a crew member approached, Ah Jie loudly stated his request, ”Can we upgrade our seats to business class? My friend and I want to switch!”

Saying this, Ah Jie pointed to himself and Ah Gui.

”Sir, please hold on. I need to check if there are any seats available in business class. Also, note that upgrading mid-flight can be more expensive than on the ground...”

The flight attendant subtly reminded him.

”I don’t care how much it costs, I’ll pay for it.”

Ah Jie was a bit impatient, ”Hurry up and check.”

”Alright, sir, please hold on.”

The flight attendant quickly went to the front cabin, while Ah Jie, sitting upright, nonchalantly let his gaze drift past Zhou Wang and Su Yajing and those around them with a deliberately casual air.

The girls just glanced at him curiously, while Zhou Wang found it quite amusing.

This young man named Ah Jie was basically engaging in a ”male display”, trying to draw attention, which was evident from his suddenly elevated voice.

... Though some of his logic seemed a bit childish, given that Ah Jie was just in his early twenties, it was understandable.

Since he wasn’t directly provoking him, Zhou Wang couldn’t be bothered to respond and continued with his chicken meal, watching the first season of ”Chu Tianyao” with Su Yajing.

He didn’t usually get a chance to watch these cliché romance costume dramas, but they were quite entertaining for him to occasionally glance at.

Seeing Zhou Wang wasn’t reacting much, Ah Jie was somewhat disappointed. Just when his impatience grew, the flight attendant returned with an apologetic tone:

”I’m sorry, sir. Business class seats are fully booked, and we may not be able to accommodate your request...”

”Are they full?”

Ah Jie frowned but could only give up, ”Alright then.”

At this moment, Ah Gui finally spoke up, ”Let’s just forget it, Ah Jie. It’s actually not so bad. If you find this meal unappetizing, we can eat elsewhere after the flight. It’s just two hours, and it’ll be over soon...”

”Yeah, you have a point.”

After Ah Gui’s reassurance, Ah Jie stopped dwelling on it.

Seeing his friend finally ease up, Ah Gui let out a sigh of relief. He could sense that Ah Jie really couldn’t stomach this guy sitting next to him. However, Ah Jie was quite handsome, had a wealthy family, and was always pampered by others throughout his life. His girlfriends were always the prettiest in their circle, so encountering someone who was better-looking and more charming must have thrown him off balance...

Just then, the flight attendant who left earlier returned, this time following another crew member.

The crew member walking ahead was distinct in her attire, exuding a more mature and dignified aura. She held a tray, and as she approached the group, her expression suddenly turned warm and cheerful.

Then, in the surprised gaze of Ah Gui and Ah Jie, she suddenly knelt before Zhou Wang with a smile:

”Hello, Mr. Zhou, I’m the purser on this flight. This is a business class meal specially prepared for you by the crew...”

Saying this, the purser bent forward and used a hand to clear a space for Zhou Wang, then placed the tray on his table.

While Zhou Wang was momentarily stunned, the purser smiled again and said, ”Additionally, Mr. Zhou, we offer free upgrades for select customers. If you wish, I can move your seat to business class. Would you like to take advantage of this benefit?”
