The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1311: Chapter 506: Jiang Qingkui’s ”Little Game

”Still want to communicate?”

Jiang Qingkui’s message contained just those four simple words, but it immediately invigorated Zhou Wang.

He never expected it, considering he had already given up and was ready to have a drink or two before returning home to sleep alone. But Jiang Qingkui took the initiative to message him.

”Communicate, we must communicate... Qingkui, you have no idea how much I’ve been holding back... um, things I want to say to you.”

Zhou Wang typed quickly and then asked, ”But what about your parents? Aren’t you sharing a room with Aunt Li?”

”I have a way, just come.”

Jiang Qingkui quickly replied.

”Ojbk!”

Since Jiang Qingkui put it that way, as a man, Zhou Wang naturally wouldn’t hesitate. He immediately turned and headed in the direction of the hotel.

The hotel arranged for the old couple is located at the International Gold Center, where Jiang Qingkui often stayed during her business trips to Magic City, the famous Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Soon, Zhou Wang arrived at the hotel’s luxuriously decorated lobby, then typed and asked, ”Do I need to book a separate room?”

Jiang Qingkui didn’t reply immediately. After a while, just when Zhou Wang was getting a bit impatient, her message finally came.

”No need, I’ve already reserved a room.”

Zhou Wang was stunned. He hadn’t expected Jiang Qingkui to be so on point. Just as he was about to ask which room Jiang Qingkui was in, she sent a second message.

”Mr. Zhou, let’s play a game.”

”What game?”

”Guess where I am.”

”Guess... where you are?”

Zhou Wang paused, feeling a bit confused.

But soon, Jiang Qingkui provided an explanation:

”I am currently in one of the guest rooms at the Ritz-Carlton. You have 30 minutes. If you can accurately guess my location and knock on my door, our communication tonight will continue. Otherwise, it ends here. Can you accept that?”

Zhou Wang gritted his teeth, not expecting Jiang Qingkui to play these little tricks. But there was no way Zhou Wang would back down. Just as he was about to reply with an ”Okay,” Jiang Qingkui’s message came again.

”But let’s agree in advance, you cannot ask anyone, including but not limited to the hotel staff.”

Zhou Wang’s steps toward the front desk paused. Just as he thought to himself, ”Well, even if I ask, you wouldn’t know,” Jiang Qingkui quickly added:

”Even if I can’t be sure you’ve asked someone, if I sense it, our game will end immediately.”

Zhou Wang stopped, puzzled, looking around. There were few guests in the late-night hotel lobby, and it was exceptionally quiet. Assuming Jiang Qingkui was in a guest room, how could she possibly know whom he asked? But Zhou Wang didn’t dare to take the risk.

He was well aware that Jiang Qingkui’s initiative today was certainly not the norm, for whatever reason.

Such a rare opportunity would be lost if missed. If Jiang Qingkui really was observing him from some corner, any rash action from Zhou Wang would only lead to the game’s premature end.

Jiang Qingkui was not Xu Wenqian; she would definitely follow through on her words.

But then Zhou Wang furrowed his brow.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel is no ordinary small inn. It occupies 52 to 68 floors of the International Gold Center’s South Tower, totaling 17 floors.

Zhou Wang wasn’t sure how many guest rooms there were, but based on the area of the two office floors he just acquired, if each floor could accommodate 15 to 20 guest rooms, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel would have nearly 300 guest rooms.

This also aligns with the scale of an international luxury five-star hotel.

guest rooms... How could he guess?

The only information he had was that his parents’ room was on the 66th floor. Assuming Jiang Qingkui booked a new room on a nearby floor, it would be in one of the rooms between the 65th to 67th floors.

Even if he narrowed it down to just three floors, he would still be choosing from over 50 guest rooms. Zhou Wang only had half an hour and couldn’t go knocking foolishly door to door, right?

The hotel surely wouldn’t allow him to disturb others like that.

”This game isn’t fair, I protest, there’s too much of an information gap.”

Zhou Wang sent a message to Jiang Qingkui.

”It is a bit... How about this, Mr. Zhou, since you gave me a surprise tonight, you can ask me any question except for the room number as a hint, but only one.”

Seeing this, Zhou Wang lit a cigarette and stood there in deep contemplation.

A moment later, with a thoughtful look on his face, Zhou Wang revealed a confident smile. He typed:

”Qingkui, I need you to stand by the window of the room, hold your phone level, and send me a photo of the night view outside.”

...

In one of the guest rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Jiang Qingkui, still wearing an evening gown, happened to be standing by the window.

The form-fitting evening gown outlined her perfect S-curve, and the exaggerated open-back design left her large expanse of skin completely exposed. Under the orange light, her flawless back seemed to be a piece of exquisite cold white jade, radiating an enticing glow.

Upon seeing Zhou Wang’s message, Jiang Qingkui was slightly taken aback.

She was a bit puzzled. Originally, she imagined if the roles were reversed, she would likely use this question to inquire about the floor. After all, once the floor was locked in, finding a guest room in half an hour wouldn’t be as difficult.

After all, the probability of guessing the correct answer had shrunk from several hundred to about a dozen. Even using the simplest method of knocking on each door, there was hope to win this game.
