The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1325: Chapter 512: Reflection_2

A flash of regret appeared in Old Ma’s eyes, but he wisely stopped the topic and just walked ahead to lead the way for Zhou Wang.

”Mr. Zhou, this way please. Would you like to rest in your room first or...”

”I’ll go to my room first.”

Zhou Wang’s purpose for coming here was clear: he wanted to check on that girl, Zhai Peining.

Though it was self-inflicted by her, Zhou Wang still felt a bit uneasy.

After all, he initially planned to deal with the matter after the banquet, but in the chaos, he completely forgot about it.

Counting from the night of the banquet to now, it’s almost been two days, and given the series of measures he implemented under Gao Xing’s professional advice, Qu Peining’s chances of escape were practically zero.

And, as expected, because Zhou Wang had forewarned, it was very likely that during these two days, no staff from the establishment had entered or exited that room...

Sure enough, Old Ma’s next words confirmed this.

”Mr. Zhou, as per your instructions, no one approached that room during your absence, not even the cleaning staff, so you can be assured...”

Zhou Wang’s mouth twitched, I’m not at ease, which is exactly why I’m here.

Two days without food or drink, better not let her develop any problems, that would be taking it too far...

Thinking of this, Zhou Wang quickened his pace slightly.

All the way into the club, to the fifth floor with the tightest security, Zhou Wang swiped his card to enter his room 606, when Gao Xing, who had been following silently, signaled to him.

Zhou Wang understood his gesture, stopped at the door as a precaution, and let Gao Xing enter the room first.

After about a minute, Gao Xing reappeared, gave Zhou Wang a slight nod, and then concealed himself by the door.

Zhou Wang could not discern anything from Gao Xing’s expression, but he felt a bit relieved. Although Gao Xing rarely showed much emotion, at least he could be sure of one thing...

At the very least, Qu Peining was still alive and well.

After entering the room alone, Zhou Wang glanced around. The arrangement of the living room was exactly as he had left it, including a metal lighter he had intentionally set at an angle; nothing had changed, indicating no one had entered during this time.

At the slightly ajar bedroom door, Zhou Wang paused briefly. Not hearing any noise from inside, he pushed open the bedroom door.

The main bedroom was not lit, and the curtains were drawn, leaving it largely in darkness. Yet, with the light from the living room, Zhou Wang still saw the figure curled up in a corner of the bed.

In the indistinct light, Zhou Wang saw she was still wearing the professional skirt suit belonging to the club. Because she had curled up, the curve of the tight black pencil skirt appeared even more pronounced...

Thinking back to that rushed day, Zhou Wang hadn’t expected this girl, whose face carried a sense of vigor and who had a rather cold demeanor, to have such a large behind, comparable even to Sister Qingkui’s natural endowment.

Yet she seemed quite thin.

Beneath the hem of her skirt, her legs were tightly sheathed in flesh-colored stockings, which had some tears at the inner side of her overlapping thighs, with the openings extending further into unseen shadows, sparking imagination.

Zooming out, one could understand why Qu Peining remained in bed.

Her hands were raised above her head, shackled to the bedpost by handcuffs with a metallic sheen. Her feet were tightly bound with black leather ropes. Judging from the tautness of the stockings, the ropes were cinched very tightly, leaving little room for her ankles to move.

Zhou Wang felt a bit sorry for her. Don’t believe the images depicted in movies; although these handcuffs and ropes were just ”props” from the club, when bound hand and foot, no matter how formidable one’s abilities, escaping on one’s own was impossible.

Not to mention, both the position of the handcuffs and the knots on the ropes were designed based on Gao Xing’s professional advice. Before leaving the room back then, Zhou Wang even searched Qu Peining to ensure she had no tools on her that could be used...

So, for two days, Qu Peining was pinned helplessly to the bed. Zhou Wang imagined he would have felt like dying in her situation.

At this moment, Qu Peining faced away from the room’s entrance. Even though Zhou Wang didn’t conceal any sound from his arrival, she showed no reaction, as if she had fainted.

But Zhou Wang wasn’t just admiring the hidden scenery. The moment he turned on the light, he keenly noticed Qu Peining’s toes, wrapped in stockings, twitch slightly.

This indicated she was awake but was pretending to be unconscious for unknown reasons.

Zhou Wang pondered, then chose not to speak, leaning against the door and quietly watching her.

After a few minutes of this stalemate, Qu Peining finally couldn’t endure it. She initially planned to feign death, hoping that when Zhou Wang approached to check on her, she might find an opportunity to counter him.

But she hadn’t expected Zhou Wang to be so cautious. She could almost feel his gaze, though intangible, sweeping over her body like a branding iron, making her already unwashed skin itch even more unbearably.

With her professional training, this two-day confinement couldn’t crush Qu Peining’s spirit. The real torment was the combined hunger and thirst, and the tightness in certain areas...
