The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 599: Chapter 246: Su Yajing’s Unique Charm_3

”All good, yesterday they even mentioned you, saying you haven’t been over for dinner in a while...”

”Recently, I’ve been way too busy, where’s the time for visiting relatives?”

Ruan Jinghong shrugged helplessly, ”Today I just happened to be nearby, so I thought I’d drop by for a bit. I’ll have to leave soon, I’ve got a lot to do today.”

”Understandable, understandable. With the tourism industry picking up, it’s the perfect time for you to shine, cousin. Being busy has its perks. Last year you said there’s no hope of getting a new car, and now look at you driving a new one.”

Chen Hao chuckled as he stepped forward to touch the brand-new body of the Lamborghini Urus, ”This car must have cost around three million, right?”

”About that, three million or so. They marketed it as ’the strongest SUV on the planet’, but I feel it’s just whatever.”

Ruan Jinghong laughed, ”If you’re interested, come find me after today, you can drive it for a couple of days.”

”Sure, I’ll look for you later. Oh, by the way, bro, let me introduce you. This is my childhood friend Zhang Ruifeng, from Deer City. This is my girlfriend Li Danni, and these are some of her classmates...”

As Chen Hao introduced them, Ruan Jinghong greeted everyone politely without showing any favoritism. Even toward the college students, he was courteous, but he made a point to exchange a few more words with Zhang Ruifeng.

To Li Danni and the surrounding college students, Chen Hao’s cousin really seemed to deserve his reputation.

Even though he was probably over thirty and couldn’t be considered in their age group anymore, this only made his demeanor and the luxury car behind him seem all the more fitting. Li Danni couldn’t help but be impressed.

Compared to his obviously mature and steady cousin, her own boyfriend really paled in comparison. Speaking of Zhou Wang...

Hmm?

Why did she suddenly think of Su Yajing’s boyfriend?

Shaking her head, Li Danni dismissed the sudden strange thought.

”Bro, let’s head inside. Manager Zhao will be here soon. He’s been waiting ever since he heard you were coming.”

”Oh? Old Zhao, huh? I really haven’t seen him in a while. I’ll call later to see if President Qu is around... He’s the hotel boss and one of my reasons for coming. These connections must be maintained.”

Hearing that Chen Hao’s cousin was someone who could be on friendly terms with the boss of Lishui Yinquan Hotel, everyone except Zhang Ruifeng felt a sense of reverent awe.

Even though they were students dreaming of the future, most understood that a person like a luxury hotel boss was way beyond the social circles they’d ever reach.

As they chatted and laughed, the group entered the villa’s hall. The others in the villa, upon learning of Chen Hao’s cousin’s arrival, all gathered in the living room, except for Su Yajing and Zhou Wang, who were nowhere to be found.

Holding back his frustration, Chen Hao said to Li Danni, ”Go call them. After all, it’s your birthday gathering. How can they just hide and do their own thing?”

Li Danni, understanding her boyfriend’s mindset, nodded and headed upstairs.

”What’s up?”

Seeing Chen Hao’s off expression, Ruan Jinghong curiously asked.

”You don’t know, Hong, but there’s a big shot in our villa today. Just now, he opened his mouth saying he’d buy this hotel... Um, no, he said he already bought it while we were eating together.”

Zhang Ruifeng said with a smile that was devoid of any sarcasm but filled with disdain.

”That’s quite impressive.”

Ruan Jinghong, surprised, laughed heartily, ”Although I know the management company behind Lishui Yinquan has been having some troubles recently, not just anyone can buy this hotel. If your friend can really pull this off, he could rival my friend nicknamed ’Ming City’s Batman’...”

”Yeah, we were just saying, since you’re here, bro, you have to tell us all about that legend!”

Chen Hao, knowing Zhang Ruifeng still had doubts about this matter, immediately grinned.

”Haha, I’ve told you all there is to tell, but if you’re not there in person, you just can’t grasp that overwhelming impact...”

As Ruan Jinghong was marveling, Li Danni came pounding down the stairs.

Seeing only Li Danni, Chen Hao frowned, ”Where are they?”

Li Danni replied helplessly, ”They’re still on the rooftop, but Yajing seems to have fallen asleep. I told Zhou Wang, but he didn’t seem to want to come down...”

Before Chen Hao could express his annoyance, a bewildered Ruan Jinghong, after a pause, uncertainly asked,

”Wait a minute, who did you just mention?”
