The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 560: Chapter 235: An Ordinary Day_2

The main reason still came from the support of numerous internet celebrities from Wuyou.

After Lin Dantong took the lead, quite a few influencers followed suit, at one point pushing the topic of ”being the best actor in your own life,” which had a bit of a motivational feel, into Douyin’s top ten trending searches.

Many of these influencers’ fans and the general public traced the source, finding Zhou Wang’s original video, which caused the video’s data to skyrocket.

When a topic is being discussed by many major internet celebrities from Wuyou, the popularity of that topic is undoubtedly terrifying. The only mismatch was that because most of Wuyou’s major influencers rely on their looks, they have a predominantly male fanbase. So, when these people saw Zhou Wang’s video, most of them were indifferent.

That’s why even though the video views were nearing a billion, the likes weren’t very high. On the contrary, the comments section was terrifyingly lively, with nearly two million comments and over a million shares, which were explosive compared to any video on Douyin.

”Just got online, guys, who is this dude?”

”Damn, he’s so pretentious...”

”I’m more curious, just graduated college, with such an ordinary background, and he was in debt too, how exactly did this Zhou Wang make so much money? I didn’t see it mentioned in the video!”

”He must be some rich person’s illegitimate child, what else could it be?”

”...”

As the number of comments continued to rise, some negative voices gradually dominated the top, but Zhou Wang didn’t care too much.

His persona was still far from established. This video was just a beginning, so it’s normal to hear a lot of skepticism.

Swiping right to his personal interface, Zhou Wang’s current follower count was displayed... A total of 823,000.

This number made Zhou Wang feel both helpless and delighted.

The frustrating part was that he was still 180,000 short of receiving his first reward, while the delightful part was that from more than 3 million likes, he gained 800,000 followers, which was a phenomenal ratio.

Of course, among them were quite a few female fans who followed Zhou Wang because of his looks, and many passersby who followed out of curiosity about Zhou Wang’s story, so having 800,000 followers was reasonable.

Lin Ran was already tirelessly planning the second video, and as for Zhou Wang himself, he was currently intentionally shooting some daily footage to use as backup.

Thinking about it, Zhou Wang made a call to Lin Ran.

”Hello, Mr. Zhou!”

Lin Ran almost answered immediately, sounding slightly out of breath.

”Uh, Sister Ran, why does your breathing sound a bit sketchy?”

With frequent interactions over the week, they had become quite familiar, plus with the connection through Hua Suisui, Zhou Wang naturally joked.

”Mr. Zhou, I’m just working out...”

”I don’t believe it!”

”Why don’t we have a video call?”

Lin Ran said she was going to hang up the phone, seemingly eager to prove she was innocent.

”Just joking, don’t get excited... But speaking of working out, I remember you have a great figure, do you know any good fitness coaches?”

Zhou Wang vaguely remembered Lin Ran’s great figure in a bikini, which was outstanding for a woman her age, even hinting at some abs.

Things were chaotic anyway, and according to the requirements of the third action round, he needed talents in every area. The need for a fitness coach was actually lower on the list, he was just idly asking.

”I do know quite a few fitness coaches, to be honest with you, Mr. Zhou, I used to work in that field. It was just because of the pandemic that I started managing influencers instead. But it also depends on your needs. If your standards are high, I’ll keep an eye out and let you know if I find someone suitable.”

”Sure, keep an eye out for me, and if they know a bit of martial arts, that would be even better.”

Actually, Zhou Wang was surrounded by plenty of women with great figures. People like Miao Ying and Jiang Qingkui had fitness habits, and Shen Yutong was a yoga enthusiast. But they were all naturally gifted and self-taught, so they couldn’t advise Zhou Wang much.

After discussing this spontaneous topic, Zhou Wang finally brought up the main business. ”About the second video, do you have any ideas?”

”Mr. Zhou, I’m sorry, the scripts from the production team needed to be revised, so there’s been no progress so far. But if you’re in a hurry...”

Lin Ran, thinking Zhou Wang was displeased, quickly explained anxiously.

”Oh, that’s not what I meant.”

Noticing Lin Ran’s apprehension, Zhou Wang chuckled, ”The first video is still trending, so there’s no rush. I was just thinking that if you don’t have any good ideas for now, why not hear mine?”

”Sure, Mr. Zhou, go ahead...”

After a moment, Lin Ran was surprised.

”Mr. Zhou, it sounds feasible, but wouldn’t the cost be too high? Also, can the prize really spark a discussion?”

Since it touched on an area she was unfamiliar with, Lin Ran inevitably developed some doubts, ”I don’t quite understand games, but if you’re spending that much money, why not use it for promotion?”

”Trust me, at least on this matter, my judgment should be right.”

Zhou Wang smiled, still firm in his idea.

”Okay, Mr. Zhou, please send me the material. I’ll have the filming team edit the video as soon as possible. As for the prize you mentioned, I’ll go procure it right away.”

Ending the call with Lin Ran, Zhou Wang turned off his phone. His drowsiness was dispelled. As he got out of bed and walked out of the bedroom, Chen Mei, who had been waiting at the door, approached him.
