The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 588: Chapter 243 Job Application and Pay Raise_3

Because this Mr. Zhou was not only handsome, but also easy-going and generous, he always tipped them an extra five thousand...

Even serving Mr. Zhou every day felt quite easy!

She had even thought it through; her basic salary at the Jade Palace (during the internship period) was eight thousand a month, plus commissions of 1 to 3 orders a day, her expected monthly income would be around forty to a hundred thousand.

If it were Mr. Zhou, she might just ask for a salary of thirty thousand. No, even twenty thousand would not be unacceptable...

Any lower, though, would not be feasible because her two younger siblings back home were also in high school, their grades were good, and she had to save up for their college expenses.

Sitting beside her, Yun Rou’s expression was much calmer, but her heart was somewhat anxious as well. If she knew what Yun Lan was thinking at this moment, she might laugh and cry at the same time—

Silly sister, do you really think you have so many choices?

Perhaps it was because Yun Lan was relatively simple-minded that the manager skipped her and only talked to Yun Rou.

The manager also felt a bit helpless, after all, Yun Rou aside, he intended to train Yun Lan as a promising Ace technician at the Jade Palace, but now...he probably had to send them off personally.

Even if he were more capable, he didn’t dare to disobey the Young Master’s orders.

Even the manager had no room for resistance, let alone Yun Rou herself.

She was well aware that if she and Yun Lan couldn’t satisfy Mr. Zhou on this visit, it would essentially mean offending the Young Master in disguise.

In the second-generation circle of Ming City, Wang Qiaobin might not be considered a big shot, but for working-class people like them trying to survive at the bottom, Wang Qiaobin completely held the power to change their fate with a single word.

Similarly, Zhou Wang in front of them was the same.

Yun Rou found herself very ridiculous. The day Zhou Wang extended the invitation she actually hesitated for a moment...but did she have any right to refuse?

Thinking about it carefully, serving Zhou Wang alone wasn’t a bad thing. The only thing that made Yun Rou uneasy was not knowing how much she ”valued” in Zhou Wang’s eyes.

When Zhou Wang finally spoke, she realized she had overthought it.

”You should be most concerned about your compensation, let’s treat you both equally. You two sisters, each will have a base salary of fifty thousand per month, with bonuses calculated separately if they occur, can you accept that?”

Zhou Wang, who had already figured it out, asked.

”Mr. Zhou, I can!”

As soon as Zhou Wang finished speaking, an incredibly delighted Yun Lan immediately raised her hand, as this had greatly exceeded her expectations.

Yun Rou also breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, feeling much more settled. This was considerably less than her average monthly income, but still within an acceptable range.

”Hold on, I’m not finished yet.”

Zhou Wang just waved his hand, then continued with a smile amidst the two girls’ puzzled gaze:

”In addition, working by my side, as long as you meet the required years of service, there will be additional benefits... um, let’s say two years as a starting point: as long as you work for two years, I’ll give each of you at least a two-bedroom apartment with a price above the average, city of your choice, and I’ll have Sister Mei include this in the contract.”

Give...a house?

Not to mention Yun Lan, even Yun Rou was momentarily stunned.

Then both girls’ breaths began to quicken.

Yun Rou was particularly excited. Don’t look at how she had already saved seven to eight hundred thousand, but even back in her small county hometown, buying a house wouldn’t leave her with much money, and she still had to think about the future, to save some money to start a business...

But if what Zhou Wang said was true, it meant she could save all the money she had accumulated, completely freeing her from future worries.

”After two years, depending on your situation, if you decide to continue working, the benefits will increase with more years of service... Of course, the premise is that I haven’t gone bankrupt within the term, otherwise, you’ll just have to settle for the salary.”

Neither girl paid attention to Zhou Wang’s joke, they just quickly nodded.

”Mr. Zhou, I have no objections...”

”Me too!”

”Since there are no objections, Sister Mei will confirm the details with you later, and you two can go get ready and start working. Just follow Sister Mei’s arrangements from now on.”

Zhou Wang nodded, stood up, and left the rest of the matters to Chen Mei.

Their employment contracts would be under Spring Eye Property Management Company, so they would essentially be Chen Mei’s subordinates, which made sense.

And with the Sweet Dates given, the rest was laying down the rules with a big stick, which was not suitable for Zhou Wang to handle personally.

...

During the process of changing clothes in his room, Zhou Wang specially opened the system interface to take a look.

Yes, as anticipated, there were no notifications.

Logically, Zhou Wang was still in the ”third action turn,” and once he recruited the appropriate talent, it should trigger a system notification, advancing the turn progression.

But it seems Yun Lan and Yun Rou were not within the system’s definition of ”professional talent.”

Zhou Wang didn’t know the reason and could only deduce that perhaps the system’s settings for this part were more proper...

These purely recruited SPA therapists to satisfy his decadent desires were not within the system’s defined ”team” range.

After changing clothes, Zhou Wang thought about it and gave Xu Wenqian a call.

”Hey, Qianqian...adjust everyone’s salaries a bit; starting next month, your salary will increase to eighty thousand, Qingkui’s to a hundred and twenty thousand, and Miao Ying’s, fifty thousand...hmm? Why?”

Facing Xu Wenqian’s puzzled tone, Zhou Wang said irritably: ”I’m rich and willful, just doing this for fun, understand? If you understand, then execute it, I’m hanging up!”

”Oh, got it.”

On the other end of the phone came Xu Wenqian’s aggrieved voice, but Zhou Wang knew that if he wasn’t a bit stern, she probably wouldn’t accept it, so he didn’t say more.

After hanging up, Zhou Wang transferred an additional thirty thousand to Xu Wenqian individually, specifying it was from her ”boyfriend,” and ordered her to accept it, which finally improved Zhou Wang’s mood significantly.

Humming a song, he washed his hair and then went out, took the keys to a Bentley Continental GT from the concierge, and stepped on the gas to leave ”Spring Eye,” heading to University City in the south of Ming City.

Taking advantage of some free time today, it was time to visit a certain little minx...

They hadn’t seen each other for a month, and he missed her quite a bit.
